Go with Swift the swift petrol engine is 1200cc and diesel is 1300cc. The other's cars is 1000cc .swift is having more power than other two cars and it's fun to drive
Having driven it around for nearly 2 decades in intra-city and on highway traffic, I am a big fan of the Maruti Zen (2003-LX). Clocked 68,800km so far and , 'Wow, What a car! ; Hats off to the Engineers who designed it and for Maruti Suzuki who built and mass-produced it. Why not Retrofit it as an Indian EV (Electric Vehicle), by Value Engineered modifications for Mass-Retrofitting?'
Yes, it is. i have done around 76500 kms on the car so far.
In the city it gives around 10kms but on the highway around 14kms. The pick up is terrific and it is very stable on the road. It is well-built with a high gauge of rolled steel and it's engine is very trustworthy. During the 21 years of my use, except two tyre changes and a change of
clutch plates, no other changes were required to be made.
I own a 2002 model MPFI Zen, which returns around 15-16 KMPL in city without AC and on Highway it returns 20-21 KMPL. Performance is good with couple of people not with full load.
Rs 500 gives me a mileage of around 110 kms. performance wise still going great.The is still working smooth. Time to time servicing is whats all the car need.
I bought lxi and upgraded the accessories from maruti showroom
itself. Features like power windows, audio system , wheel cover were added which is there in vxi and so could
able to save around 55,000. For me, it is a good deal. There is no batch behind to signify the type of
variant. The only difference is the B pillar is black in vxi gives a floating roof appearance . Indicator is
located at rear view mirror in all variants except lxi which is black in color. Other than that, the car
looks the same at front and rear. Gizmos like touch screen, parking sensor , , alloy wheels, will be in
higher variant which I felt is not so important. Though parking sensors will be helpful. Basic safety
features like ABS, seatbelt, is available in all variant. Car is very good, mileage around 19 Km/l in
hilly region since I am from Ooty. Super pick up. Driven 4000 km. 2nd free service will be in two days

The differences between the ZXI and the VXI variant are just cosmetic differences .These are just feel good features and they are not worth the extra premium that you pay for. you can buy the VXI variant and make some aftermarket modifications if you really care about it.
Vxi is more value for money as it cobers almost all features of zxi, alloy wheels and auto folding mirrors can easily be upgraded in vxi variant at a cheaper cost, go for vxi
