- The new Ertiga is based on Suzuki’s Heartect platform, which Maruti says is more rigid yet lightweight than the previous platform. The new platform is the same one that underpins the current Dzire and Swift. There is a noticeable improvement in the way the Ertiga maintains a straight line on highways at higher speeds, and one of the reasons for it could be the new chassis. Since we managed to drive it mostly on straight roads, we’re not sure how good or bad the body roll is when compared to the older version, or how much feedback the steering offers. The other noticeable improvement is in the way it dismisses road uncertainties. There is a firmness in the suspension setup compared to the older version, but it’s just enough to not make the ride bumpy. The car settles down quickly after negotiating a bad patch and that should keep third-row occupants more happy in the new Ertiga than in the older model. It’s also good to see the suspension (front) not crashing when hitting a big pothole the way it did in the first-gen model. The claimed ARAI mileage for the Maruti Ertiga petrol is 19 kmpl, and for the Maruti Ertiga diesel is 25 kmpl.Maruti Suzuki has widened the appeal of the Dzire by having ironed out the major shortcomings of the previous Swift Dzire – interior space and looks. The new Dzire looks premium inside-out and has enough equipment to match its appeal. However, the lower variants are still competitive and it now comes with ABS and airbags as standard. Compact sedans don’t get any more polished than this. A spacious cabin, comfortable ride, feel-good features and a hassle-free ownership experience - the Dzire promises it all. The claimed ARAI mileage for the Maruti Dzire petrol is 22 kmpl, and for the Maruti Dzire diesel is 28 kmpl.Do take the test drive for both the cars in order to pick the best as per your needs and requirements. : By Zigwheels | 9 months ago
- Dzire and Ertiga both the cars are in different price range and also in different category. If you want a 7 seater car than ertiga is good. : By Abhinav | 10 months ago
- Both are good both r on same chassis same engine every almost same if u want a 5 seater go for dzire if u want a 7 seater go for ertiga : By Sai | 8 months ago
- You can have a look at Maruti Vitara Brezza which delivers a claimed mileage of 24kmpl. In our fuel efficiency test we found, 17.6kmpl in the city and 20.9kmpl on the highway (21.7kmpl and 25.3kmpl for the manual), the Vitara Brezza stays very efficient. : By Zigwheels | 1 year ago
- Dear sir. I have a breeza zdi automatic. My question is, if I prefer to drive in MT mode then what mileage I can get ? : By Himadri | 2 months ago
- Compact SUV can be purchased below Rs.10.00 Lakhs . Mahendra XUV 300 , Maruti Suzuki Brezza , Ford Eco Sport , Tata Nexon , Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is can be also considered : By Uppiliappan | 8 months ago
- The best pick among the two is Maruti Ertiga. The Ertiga nails down to the ample space, comfortable ride quality, adequate boot space, acceptable efficiency, and service support like no other. Maruti Suzuki has introduced the 1.5-litre DDiS 225 diesel engine for the Ertiga. The engine makes 95PS of power at 4,000rpm and 225Nm of peak torque between 150****500rpm. Maruti is also claiming an efficiency figure of 24.20 kmpl for the new DDiS 225 engine. The engine is also coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission. Maruti Suzuki has improved upon the suspension of the older Ertiga. It confidently tackles craters and bad roads and lets very little filter into the cabin. The suspension settles back quickly once you’re done negotiating the bad bits. It’s this characteristic that makes the Ertiga feel more composed than before on the highway. Even at slow city speeds too, there are no complaints. Moreover to clear all your doubts would request you to take the test drive for both the cars.Click on the following link to have a detailed comparison for both the cars. https://www.zigwheels.com/compare-cars/honda-brv-vs-maruti-suzuki-ertiga : By Zigwheels | 7 months ago
- Well i would suggest new ertiga with 1.5 litre diesel but i have seen some requirements of yours that iy should have better handling, good automatic gearbox and for occasional highways usage so well brv 1.5-litre petrol with cvt gearbox is great handler for an Suv rides beautifully, mileage os decent of petrol engine that powerfull 16kml ive got more in manual but yeah and cvt gearbox gets steering paddle shifter so that's an added bonus but still overall ertiga is pretty good offering from Suzuki and between this two ertiga makes more sense because its cheaper and has more features : By Israr | 6 months ago
- In view of the ten year permit for Diesel personal cars already in force in Delhi, and the same rule likely to get adopted in other major metros also, i feel Petrol variant is better choice. : By Narayanan | 4 months ago
