- Maruti Suzuki S-Cross has an ARAI claimed mileage of 18.43 kmpl. In order to get better fuel efficiency returns from your car, there are some points that you can keep in mind while riding such as keeping a check on tyre air pressure, timely service your car, maintain proper gear to RPM ratio, do not accelerate the car unnecessarily, ride your car at economical speeds, etc.
- S-Cross is powered by 1.5-litre, four-cylinder engine assisted by the Smart Hybrid tech that makes 105PS at 6000rpm and 138Nm of torque at 4400rpm. The strength of this engine is its refinement and ability to pick up speeds in a linear manner. It even sounds just the way a petrol engine should: smooth and refined. Until you reach 3000rpm, you can barely hear it inside the cabin. Vibrations too are kept well under control and this motor is as smooth as you’d want your daily driver petrol to be. Brakes of the S-Cross are impressive in the city and offer a good bite and feel from the paddle. Another big strength of this engine is its ability to pick up speeds from a low rpm. When you go for a smooth overtake, the engine with its 138Nm of torque and mild electric assist lets you surf that wave and make for swift acceleration. While this engine is relatively new, this transmission has been around for ages. That is one of the major reasons why the S-Cross’s drive lacks excitement. Summing up the S-Cross is simple. It’s a good looking car, with great practicality, available at a price which does make it bang for the buck. For a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test drive. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
- As of now, there is no such update available from the brand's end. Stay tuned with ZigWheels for further updates.
- Mine gives 13 to 15 in cities and 19 to 22 on highway. I guess you have DDIS engine. The milage of s-cross is very sensitive to the tyre pressure. Maintain a tyre pressure of 35 pounds and check, otherwise, your clutch plate may have some issues. Get it checked properly with an expert at service centre.
- Please get it checked from the dealer you have purchased. I too have S cross disel 1.3 liter and getting constant mileage just over 21 kilometer.
- Which best creta or Kia seltos ?
- Yes
- Kia seletos
- Maruti Suzuki not yet announced about Automatic Version of S Cross. Hope we have to wait for April 2020.
- For greater mileage baleno...s cross for good ride quality mileage and image and a hybrid engine.
- Kese mileage kya parkiriya hi
- They are two different type of automobiles, Swift is a hatch back where as S-Cross is a cross over form hatch back to a SUV.Although both are 1300 cc the S- cross has an edge over Swift in terms of looks, power, suspension etc.,I would place a S- Cross a better car as compared to Swift.
- Sedan ..my first choice will be ciaz diesel if they have..bs6..Ford ecosport for safety .Honda web.. and s cross these are cross overs.. if you need all the blend go for vitara breeza bs6( if they have) or ertiga diesel..both good as SUV and as mpv..I will chise Diaz in the case...good luck

Bought maruti
I bought maruti s cross zeta 1.3 in 2017 april, It was an excellent value proposition back then and stands contemporary in market today as well, I think i can take a liberty to say this that only international product that has blend of power - safety - economy, Although i can agree the design was hit or miss for most of the indian buyers, It's crossover stance couldn't be well digested in indian buyers who prefer more butch & boxy suvs, When it was launched in india it had 2 diesel options 1.3 & 1.6 both with turbo charger, 1.6 had immense power & torque ratio but was bit overpriced but my heart & mind followed 1.3 just adequate power given the size of the car and excellent fuel economy, The same peppy engine was shared with other maruti's like swift, Ritz, Ertiga etc.But it was tuned nicely in s cross, Also due to it's wheelbase, Width & boot size, It was a perfect family car for 5 people. It had a decent touch screen player with audio commands which only few cars had back in 2016-2017.Not a secret anymore it had a robust & strong chasis, No wonder the international version scored 5 star in global ncap.Overall no nonsense product with very few short falls one of them is notchy gear shifts.

4.7Excellent Family Car
Excellent family car. I love to drive this, driving comfort and seating is unimaginable. Power lag is there, but I love to drive this one. Another notable feature is its braking efficiency. The suspension is also well-tuned. This car didn't get its deserved sales in India.
