Mahindra XUV700 Car Latest Updates
Mahindra is expected to introduce an automatic gearbox option in the base MX trim of the XUV700 petrol. The new variants will likely command a premium of around Rs 1.6 lakh over the respective manual transmission variants and will be paired with 2-litre turbo-petrol engine. Mahindra has updated the XUV700 SUV by introducing 6-seater variants and new features like ventilated front seats and memory ORVMs linked with custom profiles. There are no changes on the exterior except that it is now offered with a new Napoli Black colour option. AX7 and AX7L variants also get exclusive design touches such as black grille, blacked-out alloy wheels and dark chrome finishes on the AC vents. Prices for the 2024 XUV700 start from Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and bookings will commence on January 15, 2024.
Features of Mahindra XUV700 : The Mahindra XUV700 comes equipped with a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12-speaker Sony 3D sound system, Alexa AI connectivity, and personalised voice safety alerts. Other features include a powered driver’s seat with memory function, ventilated front seats, memory ORVMs, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, keyless entry with push-button start, and ambient lighting. Safety features consist of seven airbags, ABS with EBD, a tyre pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and driver fatigue warning. It also includes ADAS features like forward collision warning, lane departure warning and high beam assist.
Mahindra XUV700 Engine : Mahindra offers the XUV700 with two powertrain options: a 200 PS/380 Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel. The latter is available in two states of tune: 156 PS/360 Nm (MX trim) and 185PS/450Nm (AX trim). The 156 PS diesel engine is paired to a 6-speed manual, while the remaining powertrains are available with both manual and 6-speed automatic options. The SUV comes with a front-wheel drivetrain as standard, and there’s an optional all-wheel drivetrain available with the diesel AX7 AT variant. It measures 4695 mm in length, 1890 mm in width, 1755 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2750mm.
Mahindra XUV700 Rivals : The 5-seater variant of the Mahindra XUV700 takes on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Tata Harrier, MG Astor and Hector. While the 7-seater variant rivals the likes of the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar.
Mahindra XUV700 Variants : The Mahindra XUV700 is available in two broad trims: MX and AX (Adrenox). The latter is available in four variants: AX3, AX5, AX7 and AX7L. MX trim is exclusively available as a 5-seater variant while the AX variants are available in both 5-seater and 7-seater options. Colour options include Everest White, Midnight Black (Dark Blue), Dazzling Silver, Reg Rage, Electric Blue and Napoli Black.
