Mahindra Thar 5-Door Specifications

The five-door Thar will borrow powertrain options from its three-door sibling, which include 150PS 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 130PS 2.2-litre diesel engines. However, it could come in a higher state of tune. It will equip a 6-speed manual along with an optional torque converter automatic. Mahindra could also offer it with a two-wheel drivetrain to bring the entry-level prices down.

Mahindra Thar 5-Door Features

Mahindra will offer the bigger Thar with additional features like push-button start/stop, a larger touchscreen infotainment system and auto air conditioning. Rest features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, roof-mounted speakers, steering-mounted audio controls, cruise control, a multi-info display, and keyless entry will be carried from the three-door model. Safety will be taken care of with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and rear parking sensors.
