Land Rover Discovery 2017-2021 Overview
Land Rover has updated the 2019 Discovery and made it more affordable by offering a new diesel engine. Equipped with the new 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine which makes 240PS and 500 Nm of peak torque, the starting prices of the Discovery diesel variant are now lower by around Rs 13 lakh.
Prices now start at Rs 75.18 lakh for the Discovery and the new engine is available in all four variants.
The Discovery is also available with the 3.0-litre petrol and diesel engines. The 3.0-litre petrol makes 335PS and 450Nm of torque while the diesel churns out 255PS and 600Nm of torque. It comes with rich features and is also one of the best off-roaders in its segment because of its approach and departure angle. The entry-level Discovery has become cheaper than before owing to the new engine and the pricing now ranges from Rs 75.18 lakh to Rs 1.09 crore. Competition for the Discovery comes in the form of the Audi Q7, Volvo XC90, BMW X5 and Mercedes Benz GLS.
