The two-seater sports car from the Jaguar, the F-Type retails in the Indian market in the price range of Rs 90.93 lakh - 2.8 crore (ex-showroom, India). The F-Type is available in both convertible and coupe body styles. The exterior design highlights the features like the long bonnet, short rear overhang, and large alloy wheels. Jaguar F-type comes powered by monstrous 5.0-liter V8 turbocharged petrol engine putting out 550PS/680Nm in the R variant while dishing out 575PS/680Nm in the SVR variant, both mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. In the Indian market, the Jaguar F type is competing against the likes of Mercedes Benz AMG GT, Ford Mustang, Audi R8 among others.

Jaguar F-TYPE 2013-2020 Overview

Jaguar has launched a new variant of the F-Type with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine. This is also the most affordable Jaguar F-Type you can buy, with prices starting from Rs 90.93 lakh and going up to Rs 1.04 crore. It is available in two variants - standard andR-Dynamic, in both the coupe and convertiblebody types. The other variants - R and SVR, pack a 5.0-litre V8, while the 3.0-litre V6 has been currentlyremoved from the lineup.

The 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine makes 300PS of max power at 5,500rpm and 400Nm of peak torque between 1,500 - 4,500rpm. It's mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission which gets the car from 0-100kmph in 5.7seconds and to a top speed of 250kmph. The bigger 5.0-litre supercharged SVR makes 575PS of peak power and 700Nm of peak torque. Paired to an 8-speed automatic, this car does 0-100 kmph in 3.7 seconds and can clock atop speed of 322kmph.
