Ashley read my other responses..much has been commented on..Remember this is a big truck Has good powerIs funIs different..not many on road Excellent road presence....1.9 is good but yet to be launched For 20 no other option available..closest is in 30plus range
Max possible is 275*70*16 no company does not buy back however the dealer may...new tyre go for 2750 to 3500Most tyre shops where you get it replaced will offer some scheme..Our tyres are sort after by Scorpio folks
Hilly circumstance 1 -altitude (less O2) no problem..folks have driven to khardungla about 18000 feet and no power loss experienced Hilly circumstance 2 - remember from stand still to a steep incline (-above 45 degree) you will need to Rev up a lot, put in 4l and may even need half clutch, remap to Pete or Quantum is required Hilly circumstance 3 -1st gear has 80% torque delivery..you will need to figure out your drive style to negotiate terrain Overall..other than extreme inclines...it will work ( ooty 36 bends are possible but with good driving skills)
On Road: remember it is a big truck...5.3 m long (and if you have arb bumper add another 8-10inches) and a 2 ton vehicle..Note: this is an overlander vehicle and not an offroader To long for offroading...Thar or Gurkha is better It is extremely drivable...clutch is soft and smooth, steering is not heavy..brakes are good..though panic braking will make the 3 channel abs sweak a lot and scare both you and the people outside...(This is normal abs behavior) very quite for its size and power All around visibility is like a truck..there are blind spots..the A pillar is sure blind spot...front is okay..rear is clear on mirrors but side os a bit bad..you may like to install a 2 in blind spot mirrorDear is above average cars around..only commercial tucks are your competition Power: enough and more..no shortage of power however the gear ratios are biased towards the first gear..very high torque..but 2nd and 3rd are starved...if there was some here than in1st it would have been excellent in city traffic so in city one needs to be in lower gears..Warning Don't try to race an Innova or Fortuner..they have more power and torque...but if you are a better driver than a Then okay..Xuv at start will beat..but short distance from the start you will win..Going uphill on 1st..may lead to stalling of you don't know how to drive..remap solves some problems Ride: bumpy but not much..after all it is leaf spring in rear..a suspension change to ironman or oldman emu is a must Milage:heavy Bangalore kind city traffic 8.5 to9 highways anywhere from 12.5 to 31 Yes 31...if driven properly folks have averaged upto 31..though I will not recommend as you have bought truck and not a moped Minimal maintenance needs no need for oil catchOffroading...too long for offroading...too heavy...torque and power not sufficient..remap must..more skill required..But 8 out 10 situations it will sail through..16in RIM with 245 profile would be better..higher has impact on gear ratio and will make it bad..but a 245 looks very small... 275 on 16 looks ideal..
6-8k every 10kThis is a truck....not suv so behaves like a truck with leaf springs in rear..enough power and sufficient road presence...mera truck terey truck se bada hai...keep this vision in mind
No...Different segment..Can not compare kiwi with guava ( apple and oranges sounded cliche)This is not a comfort car..it is a truck with leaf spring in rear...Body jumps on bumps Innova is comfort..a driven vehicle. This is a driver's vehicle One needs to want it...
