Isuzu has launched a facelift DMAX V-Cross, priced at Rs 15.51 lakh for the standard variant and Rs 17.03 lakh for the top-spec ‘Z’ variant (ex-showroom Mumbai).
The facelifted pickup gets a meaner face with an ‘L’ shaped DRL integrated in the headlamps. The fog lamps housings are larger now. At the side, there are bigger 18-inch alloy wheels. Changes at the rear are limited to new LED tail lamps and a chrome bumper.
Inside, the DMAX V-Cross gets an all-black colour scheme. Additional equipment includes push button start, cruise control, leatherette upholstery and a USB charger for the second row.
The DMAX V-Cross also gets additional safety equipment like speed-sensitive auto door locks, driver and co-driver seatbelt warning and high speed alert to make it compliant with the AIS 145 safety norms. It is powered by the same BSIV-compliant 2.5-litre diesel engine as before.
The Japanese bring us a rare beast in the form of the V-Cross. Is it a showpiece or a showstopper?
