- The MG Astor is the latest entrant in the compact SUV segment. The SUV gets the basics right, for example, the engine is not the most powerful in its class, but it’s smooth and punchy enough. The Astor’s biggest trump card, though, is the interior quality. In fact, MG has done such a good job that it might just set a new segment benchmark. However, there are some areas where the Astor could have been better. The back seat, for example, lacks enough under thigh support, and the narrow cabin means the car will be comfortable for only four people. But what makes up for the misses is the ADAS system. Going by our short-lived experience, it proved to be well-calibrated and promises to make your everyday drive much safer and convenient. On the other hand, as a family SUV, for the city or highway the Creta’s better ride, airy cabin and smoother drivetrain will be the better pick. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details. - Selecting between the Hyundai Creta SX Executive and Maruti Vitara Brezza ZXI would depend on your budget and the preference of the segment. If you are not a limited budget, then we would suggest you to go with Creta. The SX Executive variant comes equipped with some interesting features such as a wireless charger, a panoramic sunroof, auto air conditioning, and cruise control. However, it misses out on an infotainment system. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read More: - Hyundai Creta vs Maruti Vitara Brezza
- The Hyundai Creta is available with three powertrains: a 115PS/144Nm 1.5-litre NA petrol, 115PS/250Nm 1.5-litre diesel and a 140PS/242Nm 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit. Selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and the average running of the car. If you drive less than 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially than the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it a feasible purchase. Diesel cars are more fuel-efficient and provide more torque, therefore, are preferred for a person who drives more than 50km. Whereas, petrol engine has a low service cost, more life span, generally have a well-controlled NVH level and are cheaper in cost than the diesel engines. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details. - According to dealer sources, Hyundai has discontinued the Creta’s MT-equipped petrol and diesel variants of the second-from-the-top SX trim. The carmaker earlier introduced a new mid-spec SX Executive trim, which comes with a manual gearbox only and is positioned below the SX. However, the discontinuation is yet to reflect on Hyundai’s official website. We reckon Hyundai discontinued the said variants due to having introduced the new SX Executive, which is available with a 6-speed MT only and the same engine options as the SX. It is Rs 78,800 more affordable than the now-discontinued SX variants. On the other, if you want features like Brake Assist, Anti Theft Alarm, Centrally Mounted Fuel Tank, an 10 inch Touch Screen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Leather Seats, etc, then you may go for HTX G petrol variant. This is the variant to go for those looking to get a premium iteration of the Seltos. While this variant is the most affordable one that offers the 1.5-litre petrol with an automatic gearbox, the diesel engine is only available with a manual transmission. That aside, this variant gets most of the Seltos’ segment-first features and asks for a healthy but rather acceptable premium. - Zigwheel team any logic why Hyundai India would dicontinue SX variant, is it due to any supply issue?
- Hyundai India has introduced a new mid-spec SX Executive variant to the Creta lineup. It is based on the second-to-top SX trim and sits between the S and SX variants. The Creta SX Executive has priced from Rs 13.18 lakh to Rs 14.18 lakh (ex-showroom), Rs 78,800 more affordable than the SX variant. The SX Executive might be more affordable than the SX, it misses out on an infotainment system. However, Hyundai has still provided the SX Executive with steering-mounted audio controls and six speakers. So one can use the extra cash and invest in a decent head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Apart from that, the SX Executive also misses out on chrome door handles, the Arkamys sound system, and a burglar alarm. This variant also comes with features such as wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, auto air conditioning, and cruise control. It also features puddle lamps, LED headlamps with LED DRLs, auto-folding ORVMs, 17-inch silver-finished alloy wheels, and rear disc brakes. Safety is taken care of by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, rear parking camera with parking sensors, and hill assist. Under the good the SX Executive comes with a 115PS/144Nm 1.5-litre NA petrol engine and a 115PS/250Nm 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both engines are offered with a sole 6-speed manual gearbox. While other variants also get these engines, a few get the option of the 140PS/242Nm 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit. Automatic transmissions include 7-speed DCT for the turbo-petrol, CVT for the NA petrol, and a 6-speed torque converter for the diesel unit. - Creta does a great job of giving the cabin a very spacious vibe, especially in the lighter two-tone interiors of the diesel. In the rear, you sit a little low, and this allows you to stretch your feet out a bit. There's even one step of seat recline that gives the seat back a nice angle and would be comfortable on long journeys. Tall passengers may complain about a lack of under-thigh support though the headroom and knee room is comfortable. The rear width has increased though with knee room staying roughly the same and this would help in seating three abreast easier. - Friend i have not driven my DCT on the highway as yet. It has just done 500 km appx. About breakdowns no news/incidents heard as yet. Had it happened it would have been splashed all over the media !. proper running in of a new car is a must even if some manufacturers say its not a must. Hyundai i think mention 1000 to 1500 km of running in. Finally reliability depends on your driving and knowing your car and its capabilities.
- Madhu its a good choice. remember its turbo and DCT as well. pl read up as much as possible about the car primarily because you should know what your getting into . DCT has one of the most complicated gear box. Yet the simplest to drive giving you all the thrills of a manual, at times its also called manual automatic ! Driving ivt i found was sedentary !another aspect its said to be fuel efficient, some thing ive yet to experience as my car has only done 500 some kms. its a good choice for car enthusiasts.

- The 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine generates 140PS and is the most powerful option Creta has to offer. The engine is nice and peppy across the rev range with plenty of pulling power when you step on the gas. It’s also nice and linear with no perceivable turbo surge but it’s not the kind of engine that will have you chasing the redline either. So it shrugs off daily duties in the city and highway cruises with ease and there’s always more performance for a spirited weekend blast through some corners. For a better understanding of performance and driving comfort, we would suggest you to get in touch with the nearest authorized dealership in your city.

- R you looking for a Creta? Frankly i did look up other cars rather in-depth. naming manufacturers may not be right. however by sheer design, variants esp in technology was best in CRETA other one is KIA. more or less both are from the same stable, creta has robust looks while KIA is sublime. i don't recollect cost aspects .if you go in for Creta you may want to look up 1.5 IVT SX. It has more features as compared to cost difference.

- Yes its panoramic
- Friend if you r a carefull driver, and know this car well, I mean like many go by looks, seating capacity, infomatics only ,then don't go for this. If you want power and hear the beast under you, then you should know when to hit pedal shifters +or -, alike, . Know the revs for gear change. You will also find 'lag' on hitting the accelerator hard, be soft , ul get used to it. Nice to know you respect your car. Good luck.
- It’s hard to say about the long term reliability of the 1.4 Turbo GDI because it’s a new engine, but GDI’s from Hyundai have been reliable in general, we’ve seen the one in the Hyundai Sonata.
- Both cars are good enough and have their own forte. If we talk about Hyundai Creta E, it would be a great pick if you want better ride quality, spacious cabin, and can live without music system. On the other hand, Ford EcoSport offers better handling, it is fun to drive and offers better feature-list too. You may compare] both the cars according to their variants too. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
- As per your requirement, we would suggest you to opt for the diesel engine. Selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and average running of the car. If you drive less then 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially then the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it feasible purchase. - The 115PS, 1.5-litre diesel engine of Hyundai Creta is not turbo-charged. Moreover, the diesel engine is offered with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. This engine is all about the driveability and also pulls in a very linear manner from low revs without too much of a jump in torque when the turbo kicks in. It offers a fuss-free driving experience both in the city and on the highway. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- No, there is no turbo for diesel. however in heavier vehicles turbo is given. lately even smaller cars are being provided with turbo now. That sporty punch is in DCT provided you match pedal shift with rpm else you run into lag.in any case if you hit accelerator hard and floor it you will get a lot of lag .DCT has Kappa !.4', while diesel has 1.5 CRDI. 1.4 kappa gives 140 max power at 6000 rpm, while 1.5 gives 115 max at 4000 rpm. do some research on DCT and CVT clutch and gear box its interesting ( and confusing).
- As per your requirement, we'd suggest you to go for the SX variant of Hyundai Creta. The SX variant of the 2020 Creta is the most value-for-money offering. If you are looking for an automatic Creta, this will be the base version and it's pretty loaded for that. Read More: - New Hyundai Creta: Here’s What Each Variant Has To Offer
- For the thrill of driving dct is a unique experiance, watch out for heating esp on red lights do not inch, this beauty does not like it. !!if you are doing more mileage then diesel is the one.about maint cost well usually diesel is costly, but dct is not known yet. again lot depends upon your knowledge of dct, and your handling it.pl remember this is a german tech (DCT) where they have no crowding on the highways. ive bought a dct, its fab, keep min 1 car distance from the bloke in front, they will get into yr lane but its ok don't loose your cool.

- Both Hyundai Creta and Kia Sonet offer brilliant ride quality. However, if you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you to opt for Automatic Transmission which are easier to use and more comfortable for the driver, while Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive more involved & are more fun to drive on highways. Every one of us knows that traffic is becoming an ever increasing pain. It does not matter how quick your manual gearbox responds or how reliable it is when you get stuck in a huge traffic jam and suffer excruciating pain in your left leg constantly depressing the clutch. Moreover, Creta has a more sophisticated feeling to it now and the ride is more comfortable and polished than before. In the city, over speed breakers and bigger bumps, the suspension soaks up the impacts in a quiet and unflustered fashion. Whereas, the Sonet is enjoyable on twisty roads. It goes where you want it to with confidence, and doesn’t let the slight body roll get in the way of having some fun. - Sonet has worst suspension setup, Creta would be better
- Yes, the SX variant of Creta is available in automatic transmission too.
- All these cars are good enough and have their own forte. There’s very little to hold against Kia’s Sonet. It could do with more cabin width to seat five better, and also add at least one more variant for the automatic transmission. An aspect where not just the Sonet but Kia themselves as a manufacturer needs to prove their long term reliability and dependability. The Sonet is ticking all the right boxes otherwise. It’s delivering on the wow factor with pukka mini-SUV looks, quality interiors and a feature list that’d make you question paying a premium for larger SUVs. It’s being sensible and practical too, with loads of cubby holes and a large boot. You get proper automatics, and the engines on offer cover a wide range of usage. If we talk about Hyundai Venue, it shares a lot with Sonet, features and powertrain. over Sonet, Venue would be more comfortable for rear passangers and it has an advantage of winde service network oh Hyundai. Over Venue, Sonet offers better looks and ride quality. Toyota Urban Cruiser is based on Vitara Brezza, it still remains good value for money for an everyday city-centric SUV. The refined petrol engine makes it a better driver as well. So, if you want a fuel efficient and practical car for city commutes, you may go for Urban Cruiser. As compared to these Sub-4-meter compact SUV, Creta can only recommend if you want a spacious and a bigger car. You may compare all these cars accoridngly. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.

On the other hand, Kia Sonet offers a better feature list at a price and delivers better power. You may compare both cars accordingly. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
- All cars are good enough. Selecting one will totally depend on your requirements and priorities. The Nissan Kicks seems to be doing a lot of things right. Its striking youthful design and premium quality interior work in its favour. It’s got most of the contents to be a great urban SUV, but there are some downsides too. Considering both the pros and cons leads us to the conclusion that the Kicks is a car for those who are looking for a properly stylish compact SUV. It’s for those who appreciate quality and are either buying an additional smaller (relatively) car for the family or want to upgrade their drive experience from an already premium sub-compact vehicle. The Hyundai Creta is clearly an impressive compact SUV. It is spacious, comfortable, loaded with features, easy to drive and offered with powerful petrol and diesel engine options. Even though E is the base variant of the Creta, its features list doesn’t reflect that. It’s decently equipped and if you are on a tight budget and really want the new Creta, the E variant is perfect for you. It’s also good for those looking to do a lot of aftermarket customisation on their new car, especially the music system.Though Maruti XL6 gets rugged SUV-like design, it doesn't compete against any of SUVs directly. It is a 6-seater MPV, it gets captain seats that mean more comfort in the second row which is enough for 6 footers too. The 1.5 petrol is quiet, refined and tractable. Automatic transmission also available in top-end Alpha trim. It would be a great pick if you are lookiing for a spacious 6-seater car for family and majorly drive in city only.Ford EcoSport is a Sub 4-meter compact SUV. The success of the Ford EcoSport can be attributed to its packaging. It offers great engines, good interiors with an appealing design and that very likeable SUVish stance. If you are looking for a fun to drive car with great handelling and rear seat space is not your priority, you may go for it.The Seltos impressed us So much that all we could complain about was a lack of under-thigh support and the rather stiff ride quality. The Kia Seltos’ base variant is equipped with all the necessities. It doesn’t feel lacking in any department and the fact that it undercuts the Creta petrol and is closely priced to the Nissan Kicks makes it a sensible option. If it’s a petrol SUV you’re after, we would suggest you stretch your budget a bit. But for diesel buyers on a tight budget, the HTE variant makes a lot of sense. You may compare all these cars accoridngly. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.

- The Hyundai Creta is clearly an impressive compact SUV. It is spacious, comfortable, loaded with features, easy to drive and offered with powerful petrol and diesel engine options. It is hard to fault the Hyundai Creta and it comes across as a well-rounded product. A dual-clutch transmission uses two separate shafts with their own clutches for gear shifts: one shaft for odd-numbered gears and the other for even-numbered gears. This type of automatic transmission is purely a performance-oriented transmission that also delivers good fuel efficiency but comes at a penalty of higher manufacturing cost. DCT offers lightning-quick upshifting as well as downshifting. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
- Its unique!
- Upsizing the car's tyre have both merits and demerits. Having bigger tyres offer you better stability but poor handling. Also, upsizing tyres/wheels more than the recommended size may lead to heavy wear and tear and you'll be in need of new tyres very frequently. Manufacturers do offer some room to upsize your vehicle's tyres. You may check out the following article for details: Should you upsize your car tyres? Read to know.

- If you are on a tight budget and really want the new Hyundai Creta, the E variant is perfect for you. Despite being the base variant it offers a decent feature list and is also good for those looking to do a lot of aftermarket customisation on their new car, especially the music system as the Creta E misses out on one. On the other hand, if you want a fun-to-drive car with powerful engine options, then the Ford EcoSport would be a good option. It offers great engines, good interiors with an appealing design and that very likeable SUVish stance. - Well, Creta E has all the basic features which are required for a comfortable drive. However, there are some aftermarket accessories that people usually get installed to match the feature list of the SX variant. From our side, we don't suggest going for the modifications because the process will require cuts and manipulation in-car wired which might affect the other electrical parts of the car and increase the chances of losing the warranty. So, before performing any action we would suggest you to have a word with the nearest service center as they would be the better people to assist you with the wise decision. - Ok lets see, its the twisting force applied to say a nut when tightening it, as the engine rotates it gives a rotational force (twisting).ul have to look into construction of an engine to see how pistons connecting rods, connected to primary shaft especially the construction of this shaft which converts to rotational motion. the function of turbo gives this extra torque as it in a way compresses the air fed into the GDI injectors along with the fuel.

- If you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you to opt for Automatic Transmission which are easier to use and more comfortable for the driver. It does not matter how quick your manual gearbox responds or how reliable it is when you get stuck in a huge traffic jam and suffer excruciating pain in your left leg constantly depressing the clutch. Whereas, Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive more involved

- If we talk about Hyundai Creta E variant, even though this is the base variant of the Creta, its features list doesn’t reflect that. It’s decently equipped and if you are on a tight budget and really want the new Creta, the E variant is perfect for you. It’s also good for those looking to do a lot of aftermarket customization on their new car, especially the music system. For all others, we recommend you skip this variant. On the other hand, if we talk about Exvariant, compared to the previous variant, Hyundai is asking for more than Rs 1.5 lakh here for the diesel-manual variant, with the only major addition being a music system. The hike in price is totally unjustified here and for this reason alone, we recommend you skip this variant. However, if you are looking for a petrol-manual variant, this variant is the base model and offers decent value for money. You may compare all its variants accordingly.

- Creta 2020 mileage in city dropped in a year's time and only after 4000km of driving. After first service it was giving 9-10kmpl but now only 5-7kmpl in same city traffic driving. These are average numbers and not reading of just 1 or 2 drives. mileage didn't improve after 2nd service even. Riding comfort and every thing else is great, but mileage is far far below to what Hyundai has really asvetised. Also, on highway it gives 15kmpl if driven at speed of 80kmpl. If we drive above 100 mileage drops to 13kmpl. At speed of 120kmpl it comes down to 12kmpl on highway. So when Petrol prices are rising should you really buy it. I guess no!
- I have got Creta Turbo Sx(O) dct 4 days back and i am getting mileage of 8-9kmpl in city (kolhapur) where it provides me mileage of 11kmpl on highway. Dealer said that it will get increase as engine comes into running and even after first service. Anyone here with a dct engine done with first service? Is it providing you a good mileage?
- I am planing to buy creta 2020. I am more towards 1.4 Turbo DCT version. But 2 key points which keeps stopping me are 1. How reliable is the the 1.4 Turbo GDI engine in Creta 2020 2. How reliable is the DCT gear box in city driving. If any owners are reviewers can give their opinion it would be more helpful
- The smartstream engine will be equipped with the Continuously Variable Valve Duration (CVVD) technology. - Sx turbo any day 😃😃😃. you will love 1.4 petrol dct sx turbo creta , Non turbo sx O have minor cosmetic benefits . but looses big time on engine.

- There are actually many differences between SX(O) and SX1). Dual tone Diamond-Cut alloy wheels in SX(O) vs Single tone Machine-Cut alloy wheels in SX 2). Bose 8 speaker set up with badging in SX(O) vs Regular 4 speaker set up in SX 3). Leather Upholstery in SX(O) vs Fabric Upholstery in SX 4). Ventilated front seats in SX(O) vs Regular seats in SX 5). Electrically adjustable driver seat in SX(O) vs Manually adjustable driver seat in SX 6). 7” Digital Speedometer (with 3 different colours for different drive modes only in automatic variants) in SX(O) vs Regular analogue dials in SX 7). Air purifier in all variants of SX(O) vs Air purifier only in Automatic variants of SX( Manual variants don’t have an Air purifier) 8). Electronic Parking Break with Auto-Hold function in all SX(O) variants vs Electronic Parking Break with Auto-Hold function only in automatic variants of SX( Manual variants come with a regular hand break) 9). Remote Engine Start to cool the cabin before you get in is available in SX(O) variants, Remote Engine Start to cool the cabin before you get in only available in Automatic variants of SX, that too with the bluelink app only(Manual variants don’t get this feature). In Automatic trims of SX you already be getting a lot of goodies that you’ll be getting in the top of the line SX(O) variant, so I’d say go for the SX if you’re option for the Automatic trims. But if you’re opting for the manual trim, then you should make a decision according to your budget because you’ll be getting a total of 9 things in SX(O) over the SX.
- You get diamond alloy cut stylish wheels, digital air purifier, bose audio system, ventilated front seats in the SX O and you get normal silver alloy wheels, normal air purifier, Hyundai (Arkamis)audio system and fabric front seats in SX.

- I think Hyundai Creta diesel automatic is the best in this segment. But if you do not have budget to buy this you can easily go for petrol automatic. There is a little difference between these two cars. No doubt, Creta is so much good and reliable. Apart from that Hyundai's after sale services and resale value for every car are great.

- Hector is a segment above then creta the decision totally depends on personal choice and ofcourse budget.
- Yes, there is a Panoramic Sunroof in new Creta 2020 in the Sx and SX(O) variants.
- Definitely panaromic sunroof starts from sx and above
- Yes, SX and SX(o) has sunroof
- NO, it would have been horrible to own a 7 seater car with an 1.5 cc
- 7 seater
- 5 seater car
- Santro xing
- Jan2020
- March 17
- First both belongs to different segment creta is an mid size suv and eco sport is an sub combat 4meter suv. Hmm xuv300? I don't think it's the best and it doesn't have segment leading future and dash board is not so pleasing and the price is too high comparing to other competitors in this segment and boot space is very low. Try check venue, sonet, nexon will give you an best option
- I think you should purchase XUV300 as the top model’s on road price would be around 12.8 lakhs and it has much more features than that of creta or any other car in this segment in this price range. It’s value for money.
- Both Creta and seltos are good, but the maintenance cost of both is the higher side, XUV 300 is good with features but maintenance is much higher. for hatchback Maruti S cross is the best choice with low maintenance cost.
- The top end petrol comes in 2 transmission and Engine optionsCVT MPI: 18,64,000(on road price Haryana)Turbo GDI: 19,82,000(on road price Haryana)
- I think 15.8L ?
- 6000000
- Keep escalation in mind!
- Yes
- Same here Next gen creta should launch after 3 years this facelift is just came in 2018
