If you in Delhi NCR, dont think of buying diesel, better to go for a petrol version. 2ltr petrol CVT is so refined, its giving a mileage of 16 on highway and 11-12 in city
Its ultra stable and fun to drive, it has that initial lag in drive mode, but there are two other modes sport and load which will give you that fun factor, when u drive in eco mode its a gradual upscale, benifit is it gives around 16kmpl mileage on highway with petrol. I have tested it and around 11 in city. Compass and hector are giving 6-8
No comparison, crv is a class apart, interiors, ride quality is superior. Innova is very reliable and their engines last for atleast 2 lac kms, so if u are looking for that level of commute go for it.
All three are very different vehicles, let me put it this way of you want to use it for a family and you are an executive go for crv, if u are a politician, builder or somebody who wants to show off power and presence go for fortuner and endeavour, kodiaq has a class of its own but pls check the maintainence and additional costs. Crv is the america's best selling mid size suv and is a 5 star safety rated suv. Just drive it once, some things are better experienced than explained
No
Absolutely the best in this range...zero maintenance...
Generally diesel vehicle is more efficient compared to its petrol version. ( more km per liter - about 5-8 km more than petrol version). In some countries diesel fuel is much cheaper than petrol due to subsidy. But diesel needs more frequent servicing ( every 5000Km) than petrol (every 10,000km. ) almost double. Spares needed for service is cheaper for diesel as spark plugs are required in diesel. Downside of diesel is, if it is mishandled or abused, it can get damaged ( like Rev at high rpm especially when you change down gear at high revs. without breaking. ) Also most diesel comes with turbo which another delicate and expensive spare part. So if it is to be used personally, and can take good care of it, diesel is my preference.
