About BMW X3 2014-2022

The BMW X3 midsize luxury SUV (or SAV - sports activity vehicle as the company calls it) is now available in its third-gen avatar in India. As is common with generational changes, the X3 is now bigger, gets more powerful engines and is also more feature-rich than before.

BMW X3 2014-2022 Overview

The facelifted BMW X3 is scheduled for its India launch on January 20. It will pack a few cosmetic and feature updates. However, the standard 252PS 2-litre turbo-petrol and 190PS 2-litre diesel units will be retained.

The facelifted model will feature BMW’s latest design styling with a connected grille, sharper headlights and tail lamps, and sportier bumpers. Changes on the inside will be limited to a new gear lever, a revised digital driver’s display, redesigned AC vents and new climate control knobs.

Expect the facelifted BMW X3 to command a premium over the current SUV that retails from Rs 57.90 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). It will take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5, and Volvo XC60.
