BMW X1 2020-2023 Overview

BMW has introduced a top-spec ‘Tech Edition’of the X1 at Rs 43 lakh (ex-showroom). This trim sits above the previous top-spec petrol xLine trim and is pricier by Rs 1.7 lakh. It comes with a few cosmetic upgrades and additional features.

The exterior remains heavily unchanged, however, the new trim sits on larger 18-inch alloy wheels in a dual tone. On the inside, the updated features include a 10.25-inch i-Drive infotainment system, a 7-speaker sound system, a wireless phone charger, and a heads-up display.

BMW retails the X1 from Rs 38.9 lakh to Rs 43 lakh (ex-showroom). It locks horns with the Volvo XC40, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Audi Q3.

  • Decent mileage

Good powerful vehicle.Decent mileage, Expensive to maintain.Baaaad tyres. The rft tyres are a headache.Make the car unreliable and unsafe.Had 4 incidents already, 1 each in the original 4 tyres. If fact 1 was replaced at about 6000 km.Not completed 25000 km as yet, All highway only.No peace of mind, Makes the car unreliable and unsafe on long drives.Maybe the car is made only for incity commute.Very disappointed after the huge amount spent.
