• Q. While taking pickup my KTM duke 250 is lagging means feel like fuel is not reaching to engine and is about to stop(only in 1st 2nd gear). Service center people are saying that, this problem is with every duke 250. Also within 1 month the chain sprocket also got failed the chain is making annoying sound. What should i do?

My D250 does have a linear pull and I've never experienced this. Try modulating accelerator twists and be on the right gear to control any fueling issues. Else, it needs a detailed check at the service center.Chain - sprocket failure could either be a defective unit (get this replaced under warranty for free) OR could be because of someone attempting some stunts regularly on the new bike during run-in period (avoid changing hands for bike during the initial period). This could also lead to some engine rpm issues, leaving the rider experience faulty gear changes and engine-missing knocking etc.

If u are accelerating from 0-60 change gears at 25-30 first gear, 45- 50 second gear so on. U won't feel lag. Duke 250 engine pulls after 550****000 rpm. Below It u won't find the amazing pickup.

Yes same problem , because bore size and engine of 390 and 250 are same only ecu is different ., we have to mod ecu to change this ,, this is wat a mechanic told me not sure if it’s true

As a rider 250 is a overall good bike.It has its merits and dimerits. The serviceing cost is a problem after the 3rd service, It becomes a bit costly, And it's ground clearance is weak even for solo rides you must be very careful riding it.But it gives you a very nice experience.

I own duke250 bs62023 model. It's good to ride in both city and highway. It is very comfortable. It give an mileage of around 30km to 35km.It's an refined engine unlike duke200 and 390 where the initial pickup is not that aggressive.Free services cost around 1800.It has an sexiest design which grabs attention in public and the build quality is perfect.
