• Q. Which will be the best choice for me? Duke 200 or mt15? Mt 15 doesnt seem worth the price as r15 has aluminium swingarm, dual channel abs and slightly more power. I am saving up to get a bike and will i end up regretting getting the duke 200 because of the lower mileage and higher maintenance costs.

Selecting between the Yamaha MT-15 and KTM 200 Duke would depend on several factors such as the preference of the segment, budget, preference of power output, features required, etc. If you are looking for a powerful naked street bike with sharp and aggressive styling, brilliant performance, and premium underpinnings then you may opt for the 200 Duke. The design update has given the KTM 200 Duke a new lease of life. Also, the fact that the new BS6-compliant motor does not lose out on performance almost makes it feel like a win-win. That said, the substantial hike in price means it is now more expensive than larger motorcycles such as the Suzuki Gixxer 250. However, when it comes to thrills, the KTM 200 Duke delivers it in spades. On the other hand, The Yamaha MT 15 BS6 is more than just the R15 v3 sans fairing. The naked looks sharp is light and can be a hoot to commute. However, the compact riding posture might be a bit too tight for large riders. What is also disheartening is the poor switchgear and build quality as well as the lack of dual-channel ABS. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
