Let me clear why i didn't choose those bikes which you mentioned other than Gixxer155, Firstly Pulsar 150 engine has Power 14PS@ 8000 RPM & Torque 13.4 @ 6000 RPM which is lower than Gixxer's Power & torque figures, Secondly, personally for me the design of Pulsar 150 is out dated so i rejected Bajaj Pulsar 150 because of engine power & design factor. Now let me come to Yamaha FZ v2, the 1st point will be the same as Bajaj Pulsar 150 which is low in power, FZ v2's Engine produces Maximum output 13.2PS @ 8000 rpm & Maximum torque 12.8Nm @ 6000 rpm, whick is again lower than Gixxer 155, & then the pricing of Yamaha FZ v2 was higher than Gixxer 155 so i wasn't much interested because of these, so FZ v2 is also out of these race now. Now lets talk about Honda cbHornet 160, the thing with this one for me was that it has same power as Gixxer 155 and even more Torque than Gixxer155 , cbHornet160's Max Net Power 14.9 bHP @8500rpm and Max Net Torque 14.5 Nm @ 6500 rpm, but is pricing was very high compared to cbHornet 160(STD) in my city (Guwahati) the difference was of around 7000Rs, and the second reason for cbHornet is it lacks a very important feature(at least for me) which is it do not have "Engine Kill Switch", & that thing dissapointed me very much, as one of my friend owns a Honda cbHornet160 I have seen him struggling in Indian traffic by turning off the engine again & again with the Physical Key, i hope you got the point, so simply i didnt wanted that for me. So I threw the cbHornet out of my list too. Now coming to the TVS Apache RTR 160, it has Max Power 15.12 PS @ 8500rpm Max Torque 13.03 Nm @6500rpm, which is even greater than Gixxer 155 in Power factor, but low Torque than Gixxer's, but these wasn's my much concern in this Motorcycle, even i had decided in the ending tht i'll get any one motorcycle from thsese tow of them whick is either Suzuki Gixxer155 Or TVS Apache RTR 160, so i Test Ridden both the motorcycles,& after test riding both, i found the Gixxer155 more fun to ride motorcycle for me, Gixxer's Sitting posture, handling, design, its presence, its styling sportier look & its Rear Fatty Tyre (i know it was present in Hornet160 too but due to other reasons i already discarded it) all these grabbed my attention much more than Apache RTR 160. So these was my story for choosing the Suzuki Gixxer 155 & becoming one of the member of Suzuki Family. Thank You Note: 1. All the above metioned things are my thinking & way of seeing things, it can differ persons to persons, so please dont coat me if my thinking for choosing the Gixxer doesnt looks good to you & keep in mind that thsese situaion is of 2017's Q3 based, yes more than 1 year ago 2. All the above mentioned motorcycle figures (eg. power, price) are taken from their respective Official websites. Hope this is helpful for you :)

Hello Rajan, First of all you looking for 150cc bike. I will try to elebrate my point of view . I always wanted fat tyres no matter what. So as per that perspective I found FZ & Gixxer is only choice. Cause Apache and pulsar has smaller tyres so I don't even put them in comparison cause but it's your personal choice of matter. Pulsar is very affordable in the comparison I guess but let me warn you for service interval and cost is high. Then again the TVS build quality is not so long in terms of years if you are looking to use for long time. No doubut TVS and Bajaj are fuel efficient. But Trust me in panic breaking and smaller front tyre 90/90-R17 with 37/38 front forks size dont has much stability compare to 100/80-R17 with 41mm Forks are more stable in panic breaking or else in wet conditions also. Choice is definitely yours.. Cheers.

None of the above mentioned bikes are worth buying. I have a gixxer and I am satisfied. If you're just looking for a bike to commute with good mileage, then for the gixxer. I personally gixxer would've been gr8 with a 200cc engine coz I alway feel it is underpowered. I actually think 150cc bikes are a bit boring nowadays. My pick would be KTM 200 or the 390. You'd never get bored of it. Buying a 150 cc bike is not worth it. I also recommend the new Java
