First of all in 150 cc segment Bajaj offers 3 pulsar models. 1-Classic 150. 2-Pulsar 150 standard. 3-pulsar 150 Dual Disc. Classic and standard offers 55kmpl mileage, where as dual disc offers 50kmpl mileage due to more weight, dual disc, wide tyre. So if you want more mileage then go for classic or standard according personal favourite. If you want style and mileage you can manage then go for dual disc. It is very good handler, best in city as well as highway ride. Next if you are considering hornet 160R then it will not provide as much mileage as pulsar. It will provide around 40kmpl mileage. It has much fat tyre than pulsar. Weight is also more. So it will not as good as in city. You ca say it will provide more grip on high way while breaking. But comparing both pulsar is more ajile, you can ride smoothly in city traffic. The feeling of Flawless Riding experience you can only feel in pulsar. So better go for Pulsar.

My pulsar is 2005 model. I have heard that new pulsar doesn't meet that quality. But hope when coming to street you can find more pulsar 150 than hornet... Please compare the spec too before you buy.
