  • Q. Hello, How is the performance of this bike - V15?

I personally like the performance of the bike. It has been very responsive to me. The pickup is more than enough for city riding and even on highways, overtaking is not a big problem. Much depends on the engine maintenance and other concerned factors. Its a perfect city commuter and performs pretty well. I've been riding all around on mountains and on the World's most treacherous road and it was victorious.

  • Q. Is it comfortable for long rides, like 100 KMs non stop? And how is gear shifting? I have heard some problems in 2 or 3 gear - V15?
    Eagle
    Eagle | 1 year ago

Hey there! Yes, you can take Bajaj V15 for long rides. I have been riding around for quite a time now, including the 900 km Ride in 24 hours which I did, with only little tea and pee breaks. You can easily cruise at the speed of 80 kph and can touch 100 kph too while overtaking. However its not a bike to cruise at 90 or 100 kph to be honest. It has shorter gear ratios. It performs well on the mountains too.

  • Q. Is it comfortable to drive and worth for money - V15?
    Eagle
    Eagle | 11 months ago

Yes, compared to other bikes in this segment its pretty comfortable. I've personally done many long rides on my V15, even a 24 hours ride non-stop in one go. The handling is way better than other bikes because of its seating position. The bike is easy to maneuver in traffic. It is worth for the price as a daily commuter. Every single bike has its own pros and cons. No bike is perfect.

  • Q. How is your Bajaj V15 after 2 years?
    Durgesh
    Durgesh | 6 months ago

Not yet two years. Heck not even an year. The v15 showed signs of malfunction since day one. The after sales service of bajaj auto is utterly incompetent. They work much worse than government employees. For example the staff at Executive bajaj showroom at malad-Mumbai shows up to the office at 12 pm.The v15 is an unreliable motorcycle. Stay away from making a purchase at all cost. Id go as far as suggesting that do not but bajaj bikes at all.

  • Q. WHY SHOULD I BUY BAJAJ V15?
    Anupam
    Anupam | 1 month ago

@ Yusri | You are right Durgesh. I don't know what improvement Bajaj has done to the new variation coz mine is the first model with all up gearing. Hate to say this but the assembly sucks. The wiring under the fuel tank was laid above the metal frame, squeezed between the tank and frame causing short circuit which I have rearranged. The engine bolt and nuts was not tightened in proper way. Some a bit loose while some over tightened. The exhaust too heavy and cracked near the catalyc converter. Bolt to the engine block loosen and breaks. Should replace with steel bolt immediately after purchase and add spring washer. And worst the connecting rod bearing housing is not tightly fit. Causing problems to the piston and engine block. Had to modify the housing accordingly. The engine block is too thin, can't be rebore for bigger piston. BTW I use racing cdi and run on average 110-120 km/hr full throttle. Lol

Wow dude, did you buy your bike at some duplicate China shop? I have been riding my V15 for over 3 yrs and never faced any of the problems you have listed. I too travel at 100 kmph+ when I am on long trips. I have done multiple such trips each over 200km with my wife as a pillion, yet never faced any of the issues you have mentioned

  • Q. Is this bike worth buying when launched with ABS and can it cruise on highways - V15?
    Rajdeep
    Rajdeep | 9 months ago

It is worth buying with ABS, however, for highways don't expect it to go above 80-90 Kms/hour because above 70-80 you won't feel so confident on it as it vibrates. However, great for city and highways if you don't drive above 70 Kms/hour.

  • Q. Which will be best choice in 150cc bike segment among Honda, Bajaj and Hero in term of performance, maintainance and price.
    Eagle
    Eagle | 9 months ago

Hey there! Different bikes offer different deals. It basically depends on your need and feasibility. Honda bikes have one of the most refined engines with good build quality, but its pretty costly and even the spares are expensive. Their bikes cannot take the hard Indian roads beating(alloy bends often). Whereas Bajaj bikes are pretty rugged and can take good beatings. The are actually meant for Indian roads. The only drawback I feel is that they don't offer good service to their customers as they should. Hero bikes on the other hand are simple and not too costly, but they're not appealed much apart from their low cc segment bikes. Hero bikes offer an excellent mileage though. All bikes have their own pros and cons irrespective of any make. What you have to decide is what suits you best. Thanks
