You can expect around 35kmpl or less, if your good at throttle you can make out 37+ kmpl.. If you maintain well the maintenance won't be problem and also the mileage is linked with the maintenance so everything interlinked just maintain well take good care so end of the day you won't be paying more for maintenance.

Pulsar 200NS is a great alternative to the KTM Duke 200 on which it is based. It's not as powerful or fun to ride, but it packs in the best price-performance in its class. It comes across as a well-rounded package that can efficiently take on almost every kind of task required. Be it charging into corners, riding flat out on highways or manage daily chores with ease, the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 makes a strong case for itself. It offers good grunt, stopping power and well-balanced ergonomics which makes it an all-rounder.

  • Q. Which one is the best KTM 200 Duke or KTM 250 Duke in terms of mileage and service cost?
    Siddharth

The Duke 200 will have better mileage because of the smaller engine, service cost should be similar, however since Duke 200 has a fiber tank versus the metal tank on duke 250, Duke 200 should be cheaper to repair if you crash the bike or have an accident.

  • Q. I am planning to buy a new bike next month my friend's advised me to buy Duke but I am confused whether to buy Yamaha FZ S or Duke 200. I think bike should be stylish and meliage. Kindly advised me which is good.

I owned a FZ s before I bought the Duke. If mileage is your priority that FZ should serve you better. Both bikes have good handling and comfort for the city. However Duke is way more powerful and faster than the FZ. If you plan to go on the Highway often or tour, then Duke is better as the FZs engine is not adequate for triple digit speeds and feels underpowered on the highway due to poor top end power.

  • Q. Is it possible to install a silencer muffler on Duke 200? I don't want to change the stock system, just a slip-on with the existing under belly, preferably the 390 muffler. Also, if possible will there be any impact on either performance or mileage?

It'll take a toll on milage.. But you have to make some other modifications regarding this other than the slip on
