In terms of competition, the Hero Xtreme 200R has a tough battle on its hands. Its OK shorter bike as compared to xtreme sports, low torque at high gear low speed contrary to that of 150 CC counterpart. Overall good to upgrade from 150 CC and if buying first bike or upgrading from 100-125 CC Extreme sports is the best. For more clarity yeast drive to get better clarity

  • Q. What is the mileage in City and how smooth is the engine at high speeds - Xtreme 200R?

It’s the strong mid-range pull that makes the Xtreme 200R so good to ride. While second and third sectors of the Buddh International Circuit (where we were riding) isn’t the ideal place to test this aspect of the motorcycle, there was a good indication about just how well it will behave in real-world conditions, where it’s all about usable power in the mid-range. On the track, it was pretty much 5th gear throughout, except for the short-loop connection, which saw us shifting down to third. But with even with the bike in fifth, rarely was there a lack of grunt from the motor. We really can’t wait to ride this bike on the road, where we believe it’s going to be genuinely fun. Hero claims a fuel efficiency figure of 39.9kmpl. Although, mileage depends on riding style and how it is maintained.

Interms of engine cubic capacity hornet is 160 but hero xtreme is about 200cc and with inbuilt ABS And duel disk and almost both mileage are equal in segment. I think xtreme is better in segment comparing with hornet
