Bajaj Auto is working on expanding the Pulsar platform with the likely solution arising in the form of a Pulsar 250. Powering the bike will be an all-new engine which will be based on the KTM 250 Duke's motor. The 250 Duke’s motor is not as high strung as its other Duke brethren, but we guess Bajaj will detune the motor slightly to suit the Pulsar’s characteristics of being a solid all-rounder. Thus, from producing 30PS and 24Nm, the motor is likely to produce 28PS and 23Nm. It is also likely to make the said performance numbers lower down the rev range to aid overall usability. It is expected that the motorcycle will get Triple Spark as well as DTS-i technology that Bajaj’s sporty motorcycles are known to feature. Stay tuned to ZigWheels for more updates on it.
