Power offered from the 2-valve engine is 8.6PS, produced at 7000rpm. So, if you still plan to push the bike, it can rev up to the 7500rpm mark with a speed of around 80kmph on the speedometer. Refinement levels are also impressive as there are barely any vibrations from the motor till you hit the 600rpm mark. However, if you plan to push the bike beyond that, they will start creeping in from the handlebar, the foot pegs and then onto the seat. The Discover 110 targets an audience for whom comfort and space play key roles. To tackle these two things specifically, the bike has been given a long seat the can comfortably seat two average-sized riders. The seat is a bit too soft for our liking though. While it will prove to be comfortable for city commutes, it’s not the most comfortable place to be on for long highway stints. Moving on to the suspension, the Discover boasts new telescopic front forks with 140mm of travel. The rear gets gas-charged 120mm twin shocks. Ride over a broken patch and the shocks filter out almost all the harshness from the ride. The suspension is slightly soft, but not so much to unsettle the bike over bumpy roads. Even with a pillion the ride remains plush and comfortable. Efficiency claimed by Bajaj is 76.3kmpl, rest depends on one's driving style and how it is maintained.

Hero Splendor Plus proven and tested 97.2cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine produces 8.36PS of power at 8000rpm and 8.05Nm of torque at 5000rpm, and comes mated to a four-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is taken care of by a 130mm drum brake at the front and a 110mm drum at the rear. On the other hand, Bajaj Discover 110 is powered by a rebored version of the existing 102cc engine that is seen on the Bajaj Platina Comfortec. This 110cc engine produces 8.6PS of power and 9.81Nm of torque. The Discover 110 borrows a lot of elements like the frame, suspension, wheels and bodywork from its elder sibling, the Bajaj Discover 125. Do take a test ride in order to judge your riding comfort.

In order to improve the mileage, we would suggest you to drive slower. Driving fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are travelling above 60 kmph. It is best to change gears appropriately and match the gear and the RPM carefully. You have to be careful when going to the tuner. Make sure the tuning is just to keep your engine running at the proper revs to provide maximum fuel efficiency. Changing the fuel filter on a regular basis will ensure that your bike runs smoothly by letting only fuel into the engine instead of other residue from the tank and a clean air filter promotes better combustion which optimizes fuel economy. The tire pressure should be checked at least monthly because properly inflated tires can improve fuel efficiency by up to 3%. Whether you use synthetic of natural oil, using an additive can improve fuel efficiency by up to 15%. You can keep these things in mind while maintaining your bike.

No doubt... Honda shine is better choice but when you compare price performance and feature of both bikes. Bajaj discover 110 would be better choice.

First of all there is no comparison between these two bikes. Discover 110 is far better than hf deluxe in terms of mileage, performance and built quality. It has nitrox suspension digital speedometer.
