If you’re keen on owning a fun packed 150cc scooter then the Aprilia SR 150 is the one to go for. Fuel efficiency, refinement and ride quality isn’t the Aprilia’s forte, but it’s a hoot around corners and has a fun element associated with it. Its ARAI claimed mileage is 37 kmpl. Rest it all depends on your riding style and how you maintain it.

It is okay for upto 2 persons on the vehicle. I am not in favor of putting more than 2 persons on a two wheeler. The average is the lowest amongst all scooters as it gives a higher performance. The price is excellent given it's sporting capabilities.

  • Q. Is the braking good enough - SR 150?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 1 year ago

It is integrated with Disc brake in front wheel and drum break in rear wheel which offers efficient breaking. The 220mm front disc and 240mm rear drum brakes offer good bite, while offering a sure footed feel, along with ample retardation. Under test, the scooter decelerated from 60-0kmph in 2.59 seconds covering a distance of 18.72 metres which is astonishing for a scooter. It misses out on a brake lock for the rear brake too, though it does get a pass switch for the headlights, something most scooters miss out on. Bro the sr 150 has amuch powerful engine so it will help you uphill . Make sure you dont go into bumps or speed brakers too fast it transfers all its j**k to the handle. At plane road this motard roars and you'll nevver be sad of its performance.

  • Q. Which has a better ride quality between TVS Ntorq and Aprila SR 150?

Aprilia 150.. No arguments with that.. Bigger tyre size accounts to ride quality and brakes are efficient with disc at front..go for aprilia and don't invest on toys.

If you’re keen on owning a fun packed 150cc scooter then the Aprilia SR 150 is the one to go for. The sharp and sporty styling makes it more appealing and we will urge to shell out the marginal premium and go for the MotoGP livery inspired SR 150 Race variant. However, refinement and ride quality isn’t the Aprilia’s forte. Though, we would suggest you take a test ride of it in order to clear all your doubts.
