I owned a 310 gs. First service cost was 5500 @ 1000 km, second was 8000 rs @ 10000 km, & upcoming third will be around 15000rs @ 20000 km. Done a regular service & chain replacement @ 15000 km for 8000 rs. Now I have to change front fork oil seal and oil with third service, that will cost 3800 rs. I have changed back breakpads twice & front break pad once, that costs me total of 6000 rs. I have spent a total amount of 46300 rs for 20000 km/ for two years as maintenance cost. I think it is a very big amount for a 300 cc single cylinder motorcycle.

Throttle body cleaning- 2100/- Rear Brake pads - 1300/-Chain adjusting - 380/-Spark plug replacemnt - 725/-Clutch cable replacment - 1340/-BMW in the name of quality they cost you a bomb, in my 5 years of experience owning a 310GS, a lovely bike, i hate BMW service centre.The have hired guys who just replaces parts, they have not hired technicians.the worst part is they don't like people servicing their bike themselves.... so when you go to service centre to get the to remove OBD 2 based service reminder they straight up refuses to do so, they will only do when you put your bike for regular service.I understand that machine needs care and regular upkeep and most of the owners are willing and doing so but at what cost? Its based on 310RR all part are made in India Shared between 4 bike across two brands yet this attitude?I used to dream and wanting of having another BMW in my garage but after 5 years of worst after sales experience, no more.

The sad thing is there's no free service. And it costs about 8000 to 12000. The 1st service is at 1000km and every 10,000km once a service. So the service cost is much higher. when it comes to parts changing and services... its definitely above 10000rs. Also after few services it costs above 15K. so think twice.

The info provided is really very helpful.... one quick question though !! Is the service required every year OR only when it crosses the 1000 or 5000km mark ? Reason being i don't ride muchnamd may cover 1000 or 5000km after a long period...pls write me asap Thank you again.

For my G310 GS 2021 model, my 1st service costed 7500/-… 2nd 8500/-…3rd 23000/- and 4th 18000/-, this includes regular break pad changes and in 3rd service I changed my chain and sprocket set. Right now I am facing another challenge in getting affordable tyres for both front and back. One there are not many options for the required tyre size. For the once that's available, the cost is 14k-22k per tyre. If anyone has some other alternative do let me know

Oh my god I purchased meteor 350 used 1 year total 4 services done it's total cost for 1 year I spend 10000 only before bought vehicle I have bmw g310r in my mind but I didn't get test drive bike so I go to Re thank god

According to my experiance (bmw) . They charge the same for a 1250cc motorcycle and a 310cc motorcycle. I think they are not interested in the lower segment motorcycle so the do so.......not happy with the service.

6-7 k from second service if you have made good rides. My third service cost me 17k becoz of few replacements. If you own an elephant, you need to feeeeeed it!
