If you need looks and power then obviously yo go for MT15 OR FZ25 both bikes are having attractive design look and power , but need value for money you should go for FZ25 because MT15 is too costly....

  • Q. For my daily commutation to office which is about 15kms from my home, which one among MT-15 and FZ 25 is better considering mileage and style.

The MT-15, with one caveat: all items for the office would have to fit in your back-pack as there are no external attachment points for luggage. Also, there is no room for a pillion rider.

For style and average...my choice would be MT 15 and getting a 250cc engine for city commute might be more than required

As of now there is no official update for the same but the brakes on the test mule include discs on both ends and should feature dual-channel ABS as well.

  • Q. Is MT-15 is a dual ABS bike and more comfortable than R15 V3 and better than Duke 125 with dual ABS? how many stars you give to each bike according to their performance?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 4 months ago

The Yamaha MT-15 gets a Single Channel ABS. Yamaha YZF R15 is more of a track based bike with a rider tucked in whereas the MT-15 is all about the sports and everyday touring with a more comfortable riding position. If the Yamaha MT-15 is compared to the YZF R15 V3, the R15 V3 gets a dual channel ABS and gets the same 155cc motor is offered on both the bikes which have already proven its performance on R15 V3. The KTM 125 Duke, on the other hand, gets powered by a smaller 124.7cc engine, so it might be a flaw if compared with the other two motorcycles. As far as the ratings are taken into account you can check the user rating for the bikes on their respective pages of the website. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride of all the bikes so that you may evaluate the bikes on the basis of your outlook toward the ride quality, features and comfort. Almost all bikes have single channel abs duke 125 is simple no mt-15 has more upright sitting than r15 and a very slight softer suspension setup still is more comfortable for daily commutes

  • Q. I am really confused to buy MT-15, also it have only single ABS channel only. Can i wait for double ABS arrival launch for the same price?

Not soon Yamaha will update this bike as it is a newly launched product .you may have to wait for a very long time. Also single channel abs is not that bad as people make it look like ,if you know how to use brakes properly ( 80% front brake & 20% rear brake simultaneously) then single channel abs is more than enough as for decades our ancestor riders used to ride on non abs bikes and no, most of them didn't die on roads as they knew how to use brakes properly.

It is highly unlikely that Yamaha will launch the MT-15 with dual channel ABS anytime soon and at the same price as the current single-channel ABS one.
