  • Q. Which is better for daily travel of 12 kms among Dominar 400, G310R or GS - G 310 R?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 6 months ago

Here the selection of the bike completely depends upon your choice and preference. The Bajaj Dominar 400 looks like a muscular motorcycle and has a performance that lives up to the suggestions thrown by its lines and is a new breed of affordable performance bikes for the masses. If you’re looking for an affordable, fast and comfortable highway cruiser that performs well in the city too, then the Dominar 400 is certainly an option worth shortlisting. BMW G310 R is a bike that’s absolutely a hoot to ride thanks to its great handling dynamics, decently punchy motor and incredible ride quality. It’s a very handsome machine to boot and put together really well, better than anything else in its class. BMW G 310 GS it just about does the adventure and touring bit well and if we are talking performance, it could have been tuned differently. Even different suspension tuning could help its case immensely in increasing the fun quotient.Do take the test ride of the bikes so as to pick the best!

  • Q. Is it good for a family - G 310 R?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 9 months ago

No, it is not a family bike. It is a naked street bike that shares its design style with its elder sibling S 1000 R. It is bolted on a rigid tubular steel frame. The front fascia features a sporty headlight fairing. It gets a fully digital instrument console that consists of speedometer, gear-position indicator, average fuel consumption, engine temperature, fuel level, tachometer, odometer and average speed. If you're sports enthusiast then this bike will be an ideal choice for you.

Yes,the seat is comfortable for the pillion to sit...old age persons may not feel safe as the seat is quite smaller...but it is better compared to duke 390 or ninja 300 or Apache rr310

  • Q. Hi is this suitable for daily rides under Mumbai traffic... I mean does it cause back pain
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 10 months ago

BMW G 310 R, designed after its elder sibling, the S 1000 R, sports minimal bodywork which will prove to be relatively inexpensive to repair in case of a fall. The paint quality, fit and finish of the roadster are typical BMW standards, by which we mean top notch. Although the absence of a fairing means the rider has to tackle wind blasts which strains the neck on long rides. The street focused G 310 R’s slightly rear-set footpegs with wide handlebars translates to an upright and comfortable riding posture. Do take a test ride in order to judge your riding comfort.

  • Q. Is this suitable for long rides?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 10 months ago

Yes, you can go for long rides also with it. The G 310 R uses a unique backward-tilted 313cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor which produces 34PS of power and 28Nm of peak torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. The roadster has a fuel tank capacity of 11L, similar to the KTM 390 Duke. If we talk about ergonomics, you have a little lean towards the handlebars, but the bars themselves have a slight drop to them and are tilted a bit towards the rider too. The end result is a slightly aggressive posture which feels quite natural. Seat is also very comfortable.
