  • Q. The only thing which is stopping me from buying the bullet std 350 is the drum brakes are they reliable ??

    Royal enfield providing drum brakes are the one of down point which cannot be denied in this era where every manufactures are already posses with ABS, although RE is quite compatible with drums too, if you see the market culture Drums are still in use and providing since they are introduced, of course, technological advancement is in demand, but if you have specificity for brakes there are option in aftermarket to add on.

    Bullet 350 STD is a very common bike on Indian roads..so I don't think so drum brakes makes any difference as many people are using those bikes and they are riding Leh Ladakh on them. But still if you want an abs then you have to wait for next year. It's a better option to have abs than drum brakes.

    Drum brakes are not bad when it comes with bigger drum brakes
