It will be perfectMy own height is 5.7 and for me I haven't had back pain yet but surely it pains in the palms.And if you ride it continuously for more than 40-50 km you might feel a bit pain in the shoulder.But it's still an awesome bike

I too am around same high, didn’t need to make changes to heigh for me, but you can get after market lowering kit. Never faced back pain, as I make sure my posture is correct, but in stop go traffics, wrist and fingers do hurt (30+min traffic)

No it is not as comfortable as any sport touring bikes but if you want some MotoGP racing genes bike the go for R15 other wise buy another bike if you are not comfortable on Yamaha's products.

The bike will be comfortable and about the back pain, it's all about the riding position. I'm riding my r15 v3 for over a year now and i felt back pain and wrist pain on the first day but only because my riding posture was wrong, after correcting it, i never felt any pain or discomfort since day 2

Yes , it will suites you and for the back pain there is no such thing of back pain and all , you just have to know that what should be your posture as it depends on the way you sits on any bike.

R15 is very suitable and there won't be any backpain issues for your height ...for a more taller person there would be a little issue due to the riding posture .

Appox 1 month time you get use to it than there is no issue of back pain or suitability for riding because it is best handling bike in segment

I would suggest you try the bike a few times to see if it suits you. I've done 3000km, no problems.

For your height there is no issue, ride with right riding postures there will be no back pain.

It'll be perfect. Just a slight discomfort while riding long. But thats manageable. Thats the character of the bike. If u love it go for it. No pain can tire u off.

I have also heard about the same but after riding for almost 2 months ..no pain ..though I work out at least 30 mins per day to have the shoulder muscles strong…

Back pain on the bike is due to poor riding posture, over time you will be adjusted to the the riding position and can also enjoy long rides without back pain.

For 5.7 not a big problem, but above 5.7 they really have back pain. They need to bend more .

Back pain mostly comes on long, you can take short brakes in between to prevent it

Mine is 5.7 . Haven't got any issues till now. It's all fine

With proper riding technique you can manage back pain issues
