    The TVS RTR 160 sports a relatively conservative design compared to the more aggressive Apache RTR 160 4V. However, its eyebrow-shaped DRLs and muscular fuel tank extensions add a bit of aggression to the otherwise staid design. Despite its age, we must say that the Apache RTR 160 still is a handsome-looking bike and the subtle updates have managed to keep the design fresh. Powering the TVS Apache RTR 160 is a 159.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces 15.3PS of power at 8000rpm and 13.03Nm of torque at 6500rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed gearbox. While the styling has managed to remain contemporary, the motor has started to show its age, it isn’t as smooth and vibe free as the RTR 160 4V’s engine. For braking, it gets a 270mm front petal disc and 130mm rear drum, with a 200mm rear disc available as an optional extra. Both bikes now get single-channel ABS as standard.
