My personal opinion, if you really want to own a bullet, kindly opt for an old model 350 std, whose gears are on reverse.Pros:1. Low maintenance cost, but periodic maintenance required.2. High in comfort when compared to modern models of RE with 350cc engines.3. Dedicated chambers for gear box, clutch and engine. Engine box is never disturbed in normal case.4. Performance of engine is optimum for daily stress free rides.5. Mileage is approx 38 to 40 Kmpl in standard ride conditions.6. Full metal body and weight of vehicle is evenly distributedCons:1. Electric start not available.2. ABS / Disc brakes not available. But, the drum brakes are powerful and reliable enough.Riding old (1992 to 1995) bullets, are very much satisfying.
