    RE INT 650 is twin cylinder engine & RE 500 is single cylinder. RE INT 650 is outstanding is performance . Both frames area different .Plus RE 500 is not best selling model it has injector problems lots of engine clattering noise. RE 500 has very Poor resale value .Now RE 500 is discontinued

    Of course, but is costlier too. And its not a thumper as its a twin cylinder. There are too many comparison factors.1. Power - Way powerful than the classic. 2. Cylinders - Twins are always the best 3. Mileage - 650 will drink more ofcourse 4. Maintenance - Twins will add here a little compared to the singles. 5. Riding posture - Would be a bit forward inclined compared to the classic. But the bike is more manuverable.650 is a better bike out of the two when engineering is concerned. Personal choice would differ basis personal interests.
