It depends on your requirement. If you want better pick up then we would suggest you to go for RTR 200 4V whereas, opt for for RTR 160 4V if mileage is your priority. TVS is offering the new Apache RTR 160 4V with two engine options - EFI and Carbureted. The fuel-injected version of the 159.7cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine with 4-valves produces a segment-leading power output of 16.8PS. The carb version, on the other hand, puts out 16.4PS. Torque figures remain the same on both variants - 14.8Nm. On the other hand, powering the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Race Edition 2.0 is a 197.75cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder motor that develops 20.5PS (Carb) and 21PS (Fi) at 8500rpm, with 18.1Nm of torque. Taking about mileage, the claimed ARAI mileage for the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V petrol is 60 kmpl while for the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Race Edition 2.0 petrol is 44 kmpl. Do take a test ride in order to judge your riding comfort.
