Q. I daily travel around 60 Kms in a city area in heavy traffic and looking for a sports bike with fairly good mileage. Is this a right choice if not, any suggestions ?

RC390 is a strict no no! It wont give you mileage and is very uncomfortable in city. Your wrists would pain a lot. If you are strictly looking for faired bikes and mileage is a concern, then I assume maintenance would also be a factor you must be caring about. You got two options, for good mileage go for Yamaha R15; and if you can compromise a bit on mileage and want some performance as well, then Yamaha R3 is the best bike you would get out there. R3 is comfortable in city as well but comes with a price tag! But Yamaha is very reliable than the KTM! This is my opinion though because I have faced a lot of issues with my KTM and the service is not that good. Also the availability of service centers and the expertise of mechanics is a issue if you want to go for touring. Yet, if you are tight on your budget and you want performance while travelling in city, then Duke 250/390 is anytime a good choice. There is no doubt that duke is the best bike for city, but only if you can consider buying this naked bike. For faired version don't go for KTM, prefer Yamaha.

Rc 390 is a bike thats really not suitable for traffic by my opinion . In traffic situations i think i get nearly 20 kmpl . And rc 390 is not a bike up for daily use . I personally use the bike only for long rides . You can only feel the real performance of an rc 390 during long rides . Choose this bike If you really love it .

U can buy dominar 400 or pulsar ns 200 both are better . If u HV a good budget u can go for Duke 250 it is also good but I will not suggest RC for this much ride.as it is not comfortable as these bikes are
