  • Q. I bought new Apache RTR 160 4V Carburettor version just 2 days back. I am facing an issue in electric start. It takes much time to start using electrical switch. Also I tried using kick start then also it took some time after multiple attempts. Is there an possible issue or it happens in new bike? I faced this issue in the morning around 9:40 AM and it was little cold during the night.

@ Trinadh | Because it's new engine and also this season is winter max use the kick to start the bike . I bought 3 months back i also faced the same issue and I go and visit the dealer ship the mechanic adjust the engine idling .

The spark plug has to be cleaned again. Please take it to the showroom you bought and show it. They will fix it for free. Winter is not a problem(unless it goes less than 10c). A new bike shouldn't have a starting problem.
