Q. I am planing to buy a new bike. Is having a kick on a bike still important. I live in an area where it rains extremely heavily and roads are filled with water during raining season. Should i go for a kick start bike or only an electric start one. What would you recommend?

Most of the modern bike, specially higher capacity ones misses out on a kick start and feature a self start. If you take proper care and timely service the bike, then you would not face any ignition issue with the bike. The ignition systems, be it self or kick are designed to endure different climate conditions and work just fine.
