Q. I am currently owning a Unicorn 160 and am planning to upgrade my machine. I mostly ride in City roads and occasionally tour (300 - 400 km on average). I also have my wife as my pillion most of the times. I have a considerably aggressive riding style and am 5 11'. I am looking for a motorcycle with following requirements :- I need a good powerful machine which makes my upgrade worthy. - As I said, it should be considerably comfortable for City rides and for occasional tours with pillion comfort as well. - Mileage is not much of an issue, I will be happy with 23-30 kmpl range.- I have a budget of up to 3L; if it really worthy for my requirements, I can see if I can stretch it. - Good service (I live in Chennai) - No specific bike types; I am okay with cruisers, sporty ones, commuters or anything at all, as long as my needs are fulfilled. With these things in mind,I started looking for options. Given the pillion need, I ruled out KTM Dukes and TVS Apache RR 310, BMW G 310 R, Yamaha YZF R3. I test drove Jawa 42 and found it to be okay. I am currently heavily considering Bajaj Dominar 400, since it pretty much sufficiently covers most of my needs. What do you suggest ? Do I need to look for other options as well ?

Power and Presence
Bajaj Pulsar Dominar 400 is a battle-proof monster, whose sporty execution blends together intensity and classic chic. Having a huge sporty design, the bike showcases personification of power and a 373cc power engine. With aggressive acceleration, the performance has no room for the boredom. The feature sets such as the Dual-channel ABS and full LED lighting in it are of utmost importance to ensure the top-notch security and visibility among the streets. Not only its ergonomics and nimbleness, but also it is designed to deal with crowded city traffic or blurring of the road on highways.

A Beast with a Few Quirks
I liked The Bajaj Dominar 400 bike as soon as I saw it in the Bajaj showroom. My wife and son were happy to see new bike. The Bajaj Dominar 400 bike has 373.3 cc engine pushes me back with its 40 PS power and 35 Nm torque making every ride thrilling. The dual channel ABS and slipper clutch are features providing that extra layer of safety and control. The Dominar 400 offers a smooth ride on highways. The Bajaj Dominar 400 mileage is not great. The vibrations at high speeds could be a deal breaker for some.

The bike has Fuel efficiency is another area where the Dominar 400 could use some improvement.
