First of all whats your need both are ls sohc engine,ifvyou think for all kind of road and also for long touring then himalayan is best because long travel suspension with better ground clearnence,windshield and spoke wheel with luggage caring capcity makes it a better tourer,on the other hand if you think about highway based tour then this hond engine is really fab,afterall its a smooth vibration free smooth enginge but some tripical turren is problemetic for that die to its design,both are half duplex frame but many thing you have to chenge to make it a tourer,so not its your choice that you want a adv or a simple looking motor
