You can have a look at Yamaha YZF R15 V3, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Suzuki Intruder. TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: If a bike has to survive in the cut-throat 160cc two-wheeler segment, it needs to be competitively priced and pack enough performance to keep riders happy. Thankfully, the Apache RTR 160 4V delivers well on both fronts with class leading features. The Apache RTR 160 4V is not only the most refined RTR we have ridden till date but also one of the most refined 160cc motorcycles to be ever produced in India. Suzuki Intruder: It is a cruiser that looks like a 250cc model and gets the positive traits of the Gixxer like peppy performance and handling. The ride is on the stiffer side but it gets better with a pillion. If you like its imposing looks and are looking for a comfortable ride to replace your daily commute, this might be it. Yamaha YZF R15 V3: We rode the new R15 v3.0 on both the racetrack and in the real world. While the R15 has grown larger and more powerful, it needs a certain level of expertise to tame. The more committed ergonomics make for an uncomfortable ride in the city. If you are looking for a dynamically competent bike that you’d like to hone your riding skills on and don't mind the committed riding position, the Yamaha R15 v 3.0 is the one to go for. It's a bike we'd love to have in our garage but its ergonomics limit its practicality. That's the reason it can not be our primary everyday bike. U r already using the best bike.. It depends wat u need.. Like the price u hav mentioned.. There are just two bikes available in the market.. Ns 200 and rtr 200 4v... So ns 200 have the same engine but in carberattor verson.. If dont want to drive the bike nearly to 140 kmph so go for rtr 200 bcoz is the slipper clutch also.. And more comfort and less and low maintainence cost

A bit strch and go for pulsar 180, unless you are looking for good mileage bike. if you are looking for mileage then any commuter bike will work. take a test drive, make sure if suits your body posture and your driving requirements doesn't give you a back ache.

After the TVS victor the next powerful one is got to be the discover 110.If you want a refined 125cc motor then go for the shine. If performance is your goal then close your eyes and go for the discover.
Q. Which bike is best- under 1 lakh, between 150cc to 200cc?
WaNdErLuSt
Its purely depends on how you want to ride. If you prefer the best performance bike in 200 cc segment(except duke 200) ns 200 is better. RTR 200 is not preferable for an aggressive ride like ns 200. If you prefer a bike with good mileage and above average performance, look and safety RTR 200 is the perfect choice. Xtreme 200 is also considerable is you focus on budget, mileage and riding comfort.

I Suggest Gixxer, in most ways. It's best. One issue ( which is same
in other bikes if same category) is rear seat . Apart from that it's Superb Package...When it comes to
Performance , Class , Build quality , Handling Gixxer is the KING...

Apache 160 or Gixxer 160,both are equally good.Choose as per your liking.
At Chennai, all dealers quote the price including insurance, tax, registration and accessories. So during test drive itself we knew the onroad price and what all were included in the same.

If your budget is 2lakhs than you have a lot of options like Yamaha FZ-25 Duke 200, 250, Bajaj Dominar, RE Thunderbird 350X and many more and Dont listen to what people say listen to what you want, If you choose Yamaha FZ25 you get a good bike in a very good price, the build quality is superb, suspension are very good, performance power is also very good looks are amazing, riding comfort on short ride as well as long rides its very good in every condition and a very good mileage of 35-40kmpl similarly Thunderbird 350X os also a very good choice. Take a test ride and decide which is good for you. Hope you make a better choice don't listen to anyone who says bad about any bike, no bike is bad every bike is good. A bike or a car is like a family member.

Q. Could you please recommend me a commuter sporty looking bike with latest (useful) option but reasonably is low on maintenance. I have been using a 150cc Honda Dazzler bike for past few years. My daily running will be 15-17kms and budget is 80k - 1.10 Lakh. My rides are primarily in the town itself and I am 5.7ft tall.

See if you want a sporty looking commuter which can actually give a sporty ride somtimes then go for apache 1604v...and its maintenance will be about rs 1000 to 1500 per month....otherwise if this is costly for you then go for ns160
