Q. Which one is faster RC 390 or R3?
  • You need to understand R3 is twin cylinder and RC390 is Single cylinder although power output is 2 bhp higher of RC390 but smoothness of twin cylinder and diamond chasis of R3 cant be matched by KTM.If you good rider and just need half a mile sprint than both will give you similar speed but on longer stretches twin cylinder smoothness and Yamaha R3 ease to ride go long way : By Kapil | 10 months ago
  • RC 390 is the fastest in quick sprint. But R3 will beat it as it has high top speed than RC390.And R3 engine is more refined than any KTM Engine : By Karthik | 10 months ago

Q. I have been using KTM RC 200 it is thrill to ride but I am looking forward to buy 300 cc bikes which one should I go and why please help me out I had Ninja 300, R3and CB 300R in mind or any launch that I can wait and go and I feel R3 little expensive over Ninja is it okay to go still?
  • Yamaha R3 is a definite yes. However V3 of the yzf R3 is expected to launch by the year's end. Ninja 300 on the other hand is a big disappointment as the brake calipers are all changed, tyres aren't what they are supposed to be and nor do they have USD suspension. And as for the 300r, we can just wait for it as it is also a very reliable machine. Hands up for the Yamaha R3 any day. : By Dev | 4 months ago
  • The ktm motorcycles are all single cylinder motorcycles hence they are priced aggressively. The R3 and ninja are both twin cylinder engines. Initial pickup of ktm is no doubt more because the engine has been tuned that way (hence lower mileage) but in a longer run the R3 and ninja will beat the ktm 390 and achieve higher top speeds. On paper at least. : By Tanay | 6 months ago
  • Yes..Extremely smooth engine of R3 will b**w your mind..You will enjoy every ride.Bottom end & midrange power is best in R3.It is the best'looking bike also..Close your eyes & go for R3..All the best : By Nirupam | 7 months ago
Q. Which bike gives a good for 60% Sports and 40%Tour and good for City rides both family and self. Confused between R3, 2019 Dominar or Ninja 300/400.
  • See R3 & Ninja 300/400 are track based bikes. its not too good for touring bot the bikes handle are not upright to handle it for long rides the person who are come up from sports bikes like r15 ktm rc etc for them it will be easy for long tours according to me if your looking for complete touring then go with d400 cos its an hyper riding bike... and the same way if your looking for track ride then blindly go with r3. and mainly r3 and ninja are not good for family rides but good for solo.. therefore r3 is beast the choice is yours : By Rohit | 5 months ago
  • Among the lot, we'd recommend opting for the Bajaj Dominar 400 as the bike provides with good power for touring and comfort with apt mileage figures for city commutes. The bike is powered by a 373.3cc, liquid-cooled engine DOHC engine which churns a power of out 40 PS and 35Nm of max torque. For more information, please click here . : By Zigwheels | 5 months ago
  • Benelli 302r is kind of like a sport touring bike in my opinion after riding it : By ABDUL | 3 months ago
Q. Does it have the same variable valve timing like R15?
  • Yamaha YZF R3 misses out the feature VVT (variable valve timmimg) which is available in Yamaha R15 V3. : By Zigwheels | 10 months ago
  • No lets see in r3 v2 : By Karthik | 10 months ago
  • Nope : By Samridh | 10 months ago
Q. I am looking to purchase between R15 V3 and YZF R3 after a year. My wishes for bike aren't price restricted but as far as quality performance and seating comfort is concerned I am confused between these both bikes. Which one should I go for
  • Between these two bikes our pick is Yamaha YZF-R3, it comes with a 300cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin motor that is refined, powerful and tractable. Complementing the motor is a very capable chassis that feels just right regardless of whether you are in city traffic, touring or belting down the racetrack. Do take a test ride in order to judge your riding comfort. : By Zigwheels | 10 months ago
  • If this is your 1st bike dont go for R3 if you have riding experience then go for R3.Quality wise Yamaha all YZF bikes are no match with others they are best.If you are going to buy R3 go for 2019 model which will launch now this year.Seating comport will be a little issue because these are sports bike. : By Karthik | 10 months ago
  • For better ride and attention go for r3 new bike look like r6 : By Abhimanyu | 1 week ago
