- Both Yamaha Ray ZR 125 and Hero Maestro Edge 125 are good scooters. The Ray ZR 125 is a decent package, despite not being the most feature-packed or the best looker in the segment. That said, the Ray ZR weighs just 99kg, which makes it easy to ride and even easier to live with. Stepping up to the fiercely fought 125cc scooter segment does seem to be the right choice for Yamaha’s sporty scooter. Its lightness plays a big part in it scoring high on low-speed manoeuvrability and fuel efficiency. Plus, it is quite comfy too. On the other hand, the Maestro Edge 125 makes a strong case for itself with the new design and connected features. It can hold its own in city traffic without making you worry too much about fuel bills, offers a gamut of features that’ll keep even the most overprotective of parents happy and, last but not least, offers Hero’s trademark affordable cost of ownership. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort.
