Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying FZ 25
Q. Friends, Need advice. Little long story. I am 35 years old & 6 feet 3 inch tall & weigh 85kg.I use pulsar 150 first gen since 2003, classic 500 since 2010. I did Ladkah type long ride with wife on CL500 in 2012. After 2014 I did not use CL500 much & it gave me lot of troubles & I wasted money, time. Finally I sold it. The pulsar is fine but its old & can't ride for long distance with pillion. I want to maintain pulsar & gift it to my daughter. I am sure it will last long. I am looking for a bike which is more RELIABLE & with lower VIBRATION levels but also I am looking for my comfort & pillion comfort. I will use this bike for long rides with wife. I don't see much options available than RE if we bring pillion comfort into picture under 2L cost. I am somehow scared to try RE again. So, I consider following options & comment on them. 1. Himalayan - >2L,seems comfortable but again RE ,so scared 2. Dominar - Heard higher maintainance cost, 2L, looks good. 3. Avenger crusie 220- Seems good again. Not sure if comfortable for tall rider. & pillion. 4. Fz250- Yamaha, reliable, less vibrations, 1.5L, is it comfortable for my height & how is pillion comfort for long rides? So for the bike which i am not going to use so regularly, I somehow don't want to spend 2L. So, looking for under 1.5L. Please Help. You can tell me to rent a bike as well rather than thinking this much :)
Q. I want to buy FZ 25, I want to know about mileage and maintenances of it. Sales guy told me that it gives mileage of around 38 to 40 as per customers review and maintenance is around 1200 to 1300. So is it true.
Q. Bought the new FZ-25 ABS, the speedometer doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions why?
Q. I am 164 cm tall, I want a bike which is best for city ride and also for often long rides. My budget is almost 1. 5L. Which bike suits me for long term use Apache RTR 200 4V racing, FZ25 or any other?
Q. I am planning to buy FZ 25 ABS is it good bike, how is the maintenance. Is it good for Mumbai city traffic road 20km up and down and how the performance of the bike in rains do it slips?Zigwheels | 2 months ago
The Yamaha FZ 25 ABS is quick to build speeds as it gets the linear torque curve by the Yamaha designed 250cc engine. It makes an amazing commuter with its perfect riding ergonomics and strong stance with great handling capabilities. It is truly a fun-to-ride commuter. It felt nimble and surefooted around corners which makes it perfect for the city. The bike weight is balanced which helps to zip through the heavy traffic. When it comes to the control of the bike the dual channel ABS works perfectly to grip and control the bike during special conditions like the rainy season with wet roads the bike still manages to keep itself on the road. The bike has a manageable maintenance cost which makes it a perfect choice to pick. Moreover, We would recommend you to take a test ride of this bike so that you may get a clarified perspective regarding each and every aspect of the bike.Click here for the Dealership: https://www.zigwheels.com/bikes/dealers/Yamaha
Q. I am looking for a bike which has very good stability and comfort for around 150km journey. My budget is 1.70L. Which one could be better Yamaha FZ 25, RE Classic 350 and Pulsar 220 F ABS.Rihaan | 3 months ago
Hello Remmy, if you are a highway rider i would suggest NS200 but you'll have to compromise with quality and the plus point will be the low price of NS200 it'll provide good power but i wouldn't recommend it for city ride as it has a 6speed gear box it'll face too many problems like heating and some problems with chainset... On the other hand i would recommend MT15 and Yamaha R15 or Duke200 but Duke is not as much comfortable... Otherwise if you want an all rounder competitor go for FZ25
