- I have done a 1500 kms round trip on this bike, surprised by the performance of this bike.Though the horses and torque is less when compared to other bikes in this segment, the bike holds up very smooth at cruising speeds up to 115, didn't feel any vibrations. The breaking was best in class. With Good Mileage of 35kmpl at cruising speeds, well places handlebar and comfortable seat. This machine is a good buddy for touring distance at this price point. If you don't want to spend too much money, and still need a good simple bike for all your purpose go for it. If you're looking for high end torque and high pickup, and aggressive seating this might not be the right option.But still this it's a very good bike for touring.happy riding😊

- A vehicle color in RC book is supposed to be the same. We are not supposed to change it. But if we need to change it in legal manner, first we need to show the bike to RTO and get the Alterations permission. And then change only color, once completed you have to take the bike for fitness check at the RTO again. And also have to put in a application for change of color in RC book. Once the RTO check the vehicle and says ok, you are good to go and you will receive the new RC book by mail in a month.

Untill now I can feel the crazy...We all went with RE350 classic and two RC 200.But everyone keep a eye on my fz250 comparing to other bike this even used less petrol.. Even at fourth gear I drew it like crazy... Just amazing.. But untill now iam having hard gear shifting issues but I used to it
- This is perfect touring bike and I recently finished riding 2600 kms in 9 days. Has good durability and performance in hill areas, decent revs and good grip in highways. My bike is BS4 standard version and i feel I don't even require ABS. Planning to upgrade my bike with top rack, saddle setup and custom crash guard. Only draw back is I am 6 feet tall and not comfortable for tall riders.
- I went to leh with it and didn't face any problems with it. The only problem is that the ground clearence in a bit low, and generally tends to hit the breakers if you aren't slow.

- The matte black colour look good but needs a little more care than other colours. Matte colour need a special polish don't use the normal bike polish on Matte colour. And when the bike is dirty in mud it look really bad.. but when you wash it it will look more beautiful than other colours.

- Close your eyes and go for fz25,because maintanance,mileage and maneuvering is easy in traffic.i got 46kmpl in highways.minimum mileage i got is 32kmpl in rash rides.Now,i had done 43k in 1.5 years no problems is there in my bike.but,riyal enfield have lot issues like ignition,overheating and battery,etc.low end pickup is excellent in fz25,mid range is good,top end lacks.royal enfield doesn't have low end punch.
- Yamaha Will be better choice for you . Even maintenance and handling. RE will be good but have some maintenance issues after 10K to 15 K drive. Go for FZ if you need young look ever..

- I have been riding this bike for almost a year. Havent faced sholder pain. But palm pain yes. While riding in traffic, when continuosly holding and releasing clutch you will face this issue. I changed the rubber on the handle. Started using a soft one. The one with yamaha written on it, is really hard and you most likely to keep getting the palm issue.

On the other hand i would recommend MT15 and Yamaha R15 or Duke200 but Duke is not as much comfortable... Otherwise if you want an all rounder competitor go for FZ25

The only thing i can say is that the fz25 is much more comfortable than the apache in the city as well as on the highway. And as we go onto the specs the fz offers a better torque and a lot better pickup and braking as compared to the apache. So i would recommend the fz25 over the apache 200 4v

- Do change your spark plug and air filter first through Yamaha service centre only. Because genuine Yamaha parts are really effective. Braking issue can be solved by changing your rear or both tires, as the MRF’s provide low grip but longer lifetime. If you want better grip go for Michelin’s or Pirelli’s according to your budget. Finally, no this is not possible to equip a non-ABS model with ABS.

Comparing the top speed-In this segment RS200 is far better and faster than FZ25. RS200 can speed up to 150 kmpl and FZ25 around 123 Kmpl. So if your person who travels daily in the city from ofc to home and go out on long drives once in a week or month. So FZ25 is the best option. Because our first piroity is daily commuting.

- Since this bike was made for daily commuting, say you can easily drive at a speed of 90- 100 with just a little vibrations around the gear. Once you cross 100 thats when you ll really start feeling the bike has started to give up. And this may well be because it misses on the 6th gear.

- Company suggest that any vehicle should not run the bike above 50kmph till 1200-1500kms. The age of the vehicle depends upon how it runs at the beginning of purchase. So slowly exceed the speeds. When the motor is 1500km old. You can run how you wish to.
- Ride at whatever Speed you want but below 80-90. It is Important to not accelerate too hard before 1st service. The squeak sound from brakes is fine.

- Recommended 150+cc but if you do get a 150 and ride with a pillion uphill through tight turns,curves and narrow roads then you will notice the lack.you cannot keep throttling uphill on first or second gear for too long on a small cc you have to rev it hard if you want to go above 55-60 while overtaking they don't have ample torque for 3rd, 4th gear etc. you cannot use these gears unless your motorcycle has adapted to the conditions given.so go for bikes like Apache rtr 200,duke 200,fz250,220f ,180 or higher displacement. it has enough torque to carry load and run without hesitation.

- As far as i understand , it is not possible to fit in a RC200 rear sprocket, even if you manage to fit it in , it won't help much.
- There is no monthly service cost if you maintain your bike properly. Also by time, few of your parts stops working and you need to replace. The bike comes with 2 years warranty. But servicing parts like oil filter, O ring, Air filter and engine oil dont cost much. On an average the monthly maintenance cost is limited withing a range of 400/-.

If you want you can get the seat modified so to get more comfort. Mileage, coming to that, it has a 14 liter tank so Ona full tank you can easily get 450-500 range. Depending upon your driving. I get 34-35 in the city and on the highway 40 or better sometimes.
- Mileage you will be getting in between 35-40. It depends on the speed you drive. The pick up is flawless and ofcourse it's a yamaha bike. So the long run,build quality and service wouldn't be a problem for you

- Not at all, try to apply both the brakes at the same time and not just one, and apply the brakes with a pause do not try to jam it. Resale would not be a problem without the Abs. Just try to maintain the bike

If you're badly concerned about safety then go for ABS variant in RTR 200 4V Race Edition it's also a good city bike after FZ 25. My suggestion is not to go for FZ S unless budget matters to you.

- The pillion comfort is not that good. Due higher tail and less distance between the the rear seat and rear foot pegs, it makes the pillion uncomfortable after riding 20mins only. I have never face any problem due to the headlight, it is quit good.
- Coming to headlight, when you r riding at streets you can't keep looking well, but when you r going on Highways the light is simply superb, if you r looking for mileage go for Pulsar 150

- Bro. I've owned this bike for around 2 years now. The bike is great and everything. Its good a good and peppy engine. Great milage considering the power it has. Extremely comfortable seats. The main downside i came across was the weak headlight unit. You could very well get an aftermarket LED fitted on it or go for fog lamps. 6th gear is a problem only when the bike is pushed hard. In normal city driving and highway runs you won't need a 6th gear. The service and maintenance cost of the bike is very less as with all Yamaha bikes. Also it is ultra reliable and won't need too many services

- As per my rides, i went long drive banglore to vijayawada via chennai non stop ride, when comes to mileage if we're riding of speed 95K KMPH it gives 30 KMPL, if we ride more than 105 the mileage based on riders using throttle, as of me at the speed of 110 i got 25 KMPL

- Yes its a good bike for off-road but not for extreme off-road. FZ25 is good for every purpose even off-roading also but to an extent and can also tackle extreme offroad but without a pillion.

It would be great.If they're increasing the power!because 20 ps is not a healthy power for the 250 cc motorcycle.At least adding some extra 7-10 ps will be grateful.And also it would be great helpful if they're adding one more gear 250cc 5 gears it doesn't sounds great but honestly the comfort and the seating position is really good and the butter smooth engine always lovely to use!!!the smoothness of the vehicle is good i've completed about 57 k in my bike the maintenance was little high but still it is a good commuter i used to travel daily 90 km in a daily no strains i can barely feel some vibrations in the handlebar and in a mirror!!.
I completed 25000km till now, i have very good feeling with the bike, gets ample mileage of 44 km/ltr (depends on ridind style), Performance of the bike is awesome, its not for the top end speeds, is best suited for power rides for your daily commutes/Tours.The cons i noticed are: Maintenance is not cheap, Styling is a level below awesome, Digital console isnt really satifying one(But it justifies with the price point),Headlamps illumination is pathetic."Overall its best entry level performance bike, Suggests to go for it"
There are many things missing in fz25, Like 6th gear, Weakest headlight.But it's the cheapest 250cc motorcycle in our country.Whenever i hit the highway, I hate that it doesn't have 6th gear.Whenever i ride in night, I hate the weak set of headlight.Whenever i ride with pillion, I hate the soft rear suspension.But, I love it when from bumper to bumper, It slingshots itself ahead of all other vehicles.The power delivery is linear throughout the curve.So you get great throttle responce from standstill as well.
Overall experience i can rate 8/10.Cons 1.Missing the 6th gear.2.Ground clearance is too low.3.There is no much difference in the performance of bs4 and bs6.A little bit of more power like ktm bikes would be great.4.Headlight is not up to the mark.Pros1.Abs is awesome.2.Can be used as a touring machine with some mods.3.Mileage is good 32kmpl in city and 38kmpl in highways.Depends on the way how aggressive you drive.4.Power is good but can be better when compared to other competitors.
This bike is a value for money. I have completed 3 trips with my fz25 (Spiti, Bhutan , Sikim Gurdongmar lake) also use it for daily commute (approx 80 km a day) abd I had never faced any problem with my bike. Handling is excellent, mileage is superb (42kmpl) low on maintenance. On the lower side headlights dull in pitch dark. Headlamp should be more powerful,
