Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Jupiter
- The mileage of TVS Jupiter is 64 kmpl. This is the claimed ARAI mileage for all the variants of Jupiter.
- Activa 6G packs a very refined motor and finally gets a telescopic front fork. Overall, the Activa 6G offers a much smoother engine, better-claimed fuel efficiency, as well as slightly improved handling and ride quality, ensuring that it fills the shoes of its predecessor rather well. On the other hand One of the best 110cc scooters available in the market. Has a good motor that delivers a fine balance between mileage and performance. Its smooth engine with a supple ride makes for a great city slicker. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- The TVS Jupiter is priced from INR 69,990 - 85,246 (Ex-showroom price in Delhi). To get the estimated on-road price of this vehicle, you may click on the given link and select your city accordingly for the price details.
- One of the best 110cc scooters available in the market. Has a good motor that delivers a fine balance between mileage and performance. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- The TVS Jupiter is known for its plush ride. Thanks to the softly sprung telescopic fork and single-sided swingarm, the Jupiter glides over the majority of road imperfections. It doesn’t feel wallowy, and remains composed even when going over bumps with some gusto. Handling remains pretty neutral. You can make your way through traffic comfortably. Also, the 12-inch wheels inspire a good amount of cornering confidence as the Jupiter remains planted through bends. The brake feel and bite remain more or less the same. However, the Jupiter takes a few more metres to come to a dead halt as it has to haul a little more weight now. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- It takes about 10.24 seconds for TVS Jupiter to reach 0-60kmph.
- This scooter takes 10.24 seconds to reach 0-60kmph.
- It also features 21 litres of under-seat storage space.
- In order to improve the mileage, we would suggest you ride slower. Riding fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are travelling above 60 kmph. It is best to change gears appropriately and match the gear and the RPM carefully.
- Selecting the right bike/scooter would depend on certain factors such as your budget, fuel type preference, maintenance costs, usability, etc. The Jupiter was and remains a fantastic alternative to the best-selling Honda Activa. While the Honda Activa in its 6G avatar comes close to Jupiter in terms of features, Jupiter still has the edge when it comes to pricing. We feel that TVS could have equipped Jupiter with more features to offset the inevitable price hike. It remains our pick as the best 110cc family scooter on sale. Whare as, the new list of updates on India’s most popular scooter has made the Activa 6G a more exciting proposition than before. However, the Activa 6G still misses out on some basic features which should have been standard by now. On the other hand, the Suzuki Access 125 BS6 has all the crucial updates to help it continue its streak of being the best-selling scooter in the 125cc segment. Sure it does have its own set of shortcomings but as an overall package, the Suzuki Access 125 BS6 is capable of holding its own in the competitive segment. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

- Yes, TVS Jupiter doesn’t promise mind-boggling performance or handling. What it promises is a plush, smooth ride and features that will make your mundane commutes a tad enjoyable. And if you are on the lookout for a scooter that you and your family could happily live with, the TVS Jupiter doesn’t fall short on any account. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. - Selecting between the TVS Jupiter and Jupiter 125 would depend on certain factors such as your budget, preference of the segment, features required, etc. The Jupiter was and remains a fantastic alternative to the best-selling Honda Activa. It remains our pick as the best 110cc family scooter on sale. On the other hand, the Jupiter 125 does everything you’d expect from a 125cc family scooter, and some more. It’s got decent performance, handles well and it’s very comfortable too. But where it really stands out is with its comfort and convenience features, most of which are segment-leading, and almost make you wonder why no one else has implemented them before. Given that the Jupiter 125 comes better equipped at this price, we think it’s better value for money, and that might be enough to convince family-scooter buyers to give this newcomer a shot over its tried and tested competition. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

- It will last long till its registration date is over. Do not aspect quick acceleration like active on a double ride but you will feel good (much better than any other hero, yamaha, honda scooters) when riding alone. Mileage will keep on going down, especially after the first 2 years or 6000 km (in my case) around 42-45km/l, no matter how good, smooth, safely you ride. 62 km is nothing more than a bluff. The paint will last long, the rest are like every other scooter we have. The fuel tank is only 4 L.

- Since 2014 I am riding TVS Jupiter in Mangore and my experience with the scooter is too good. The only worrying matter is the service with the agency TVS Radha Motors, they cheat you on service. they give you list of replacement parts but don't replace few and bill for all. I have caught them red handed.
- Ride quality of TVS is much better thn Honda.. i have driven both but i feel TVS is much better thn Honda.. It is just the name of Activa otherwise TVS Jupitar is much better.. Take a test ride in bumpy roads and you will feel the difference.. Go for TVS.
- Isn't Jupiter heavier than activa? also produces less torque at higher rpm, albeit by only a fraction

- Yes there is some vibration but it is not from body and engine. Those who have reported this thing is inaccurate information. The noise comes from vibration of foot rest with the side accessory.Otherwise the rest is fine. I am having 4 TVS Jupiter in my family and have no issues with it overall.
- I am thinking to send a legal notice to tvs company..but i don't know how to prove my case in consumer forum...my scooter is producing irritating rubbing sound at 40km/hr speed from engine but company is not agreeing with it..it is saying the engine is smooth even if they know there is a problem...

- No , bs6 is very nice scooter as it is the latest offering of TVs, it is more fuel efficient it's under seat storage is now 21 litre and it's fuel tank is 6 litre now
- BS6 should be the choice. Yes. BS6 may not be as efficient as the BS4 due to a tougher catalytic converter installed in the former.
- My new bs 6 JUPITER model July 2020 gives 53 mileage till 750 kms and now 58 kms. Single ride
- Ntorq has more power than Jupiter and draws more fuel too. It appeals more to the younger riders too. Everything is the same between Jupiter and Ntorq. Access can be the 3rd in this consideration
- Access 125..or activa 125 bs6...in dono me se koi bhi lelo
- Thanks for your answer. Any reason why Ntorq and not the others?
- A BS6 compliant engine will combust fuel better (better fuel economy and lower pollution) than the BS4 engines. These engines will be slightly better for environment than the older BS4.
- Bs6 is new generation petrol fuel engine
- Yes. The newer TVS carries a digital-analogue combo meter console. The speedo reading is still the classic analogue, while other details are displayed within a digital display
- I was expecting both in digital as it shows speedometer is also shows digital in tvs websites under variance
- Only digital console in zx variant
- If customer is price sensitive, pick-up BS4 (including an additional discount now at certain showrooms due to large BS4 inventory). If customer needs latest technology and want an environmentally friendlier engine, buy a BS6. This engine will also get a marginally better resale value (as the spares will be easily available for longer duration than BS4 engine parts).
- Wait for the BS6 model because it's going to be a tweaked engine and exhaust also TVs might add-up some nifty features!
- Before purchase test ride will satisfy your purpose
- If you are looking for a ride just to roam around in your locality You can definitely consider Jupiter and Ray ZR,If you have a longer run suppose around 15- 20km per day ..you should really consider Ntorq and Before buying Vespa I would suggest you that you shall first perfect your riding skills.
- Sporty ride tft display choose tvs Nitorq or aprilla(not in your list)good ride and mileage Jupiter classic or grand..Yamaha ray if you need to carry pillion..vespa CVT is good but need to prove...activa ? for resale. good luck.

- 150kilograms of peak load is what Jupiter manual mentions. However, we've had 185kilograms (two adults and a kid) riding the vehicle in Chennai City, without much issues. :)
- Around 200 ,but you cannot seat more people on seat, bcs seat is short.Only 2 people can sit.
- 150kg is company recommended. You can carry more as well. Engine performance will be hampered.
- Yes...there is a bolt below the headlight at the front..you can loosen it , adjust the headlight as you want it to be and tighten it...
- Yes. There is a s***w which permits headlight focus adjustment.
- Very bad
- Jupiter is one among the better automatic scooters in the 110cc category. It gives around 48 kmpl in city traffic (metropolitan area, while ridden single); is very reliable; comfortable than most other scooters in competition; has better suspension and brakes etc.
- Don't buy tvs jupiter. It's really bad in quality. Internal wiring and accelerator cable is really bad. If you are only concern about Mileage then it's ok gives appox. 48-56kmpl. If you buy then you probably are in huge loss over quality
- Its simply awesome... you will love the comfort of riding and the suspension... mileage depends upon conditions, avg mileage should be around 52 kmpl
- Dimension wise it looks possible. Need to only check the wiring harness. If there are no difference, the new headlight assembly for Jupiter Grande will fit into the old model.
- Yes its possible, but your warrnty will cut off
- No, Both have different in buit standards

- Jupiter Std is 1 Kg lighter than Activa 5G. However, while riding, Jupiter feels much more lighter than Activa 5G. Lower seating for Jupiter also helps us manage the weight better by planting our feel well on ground.
- Approximatly but jupiter is better then activa.. tubeless tyres with alloy gives good stability and helps in long run..
- No, jupiter is slightly more lighter! I would suggest you jupiter, it us over all better!
- The beige color plastic will not fade easily and is a safer color to mask the dirtdust :) However, the black interiors are easy to polishrestorere-paint than beige. Also, it is prone to showing up scratches on the dash prominently. Those of you intending to keep gas cylinders in the front shall choose the black plastic version. If you intend to keep the vehicle for long, suggest you to park it away from Sunlight to avoid fading of the top beige cover (around speedometer).
- Dont plan to buy tvs jupiter classic, it gives you only 40 kmpl average only on highway 🤯🤯🤯.. service center wale bolte hai isse jayada nahi milga, we cant help.. company selling k liye tv me advertising karti "JAYADA KA FAYADA (62 KMPL)" sab ulloo banane ka kam hai..i really disappointed from tvs .please people dint buy #TVS JUPITER
- Depends on usage. Direct sunlight can fade anything. You can use sunlight protection wax. It will be beneficial.
- 150km in 'a' day is assumed to be an once in a while event. If so, Jupiter will be the best. If this is a regular requirement, consider Aprilia 150125. With the bigger wheels, it may make the journey little bit easier. No scooter (sold in India at present) is built for that kind of daily mileage (150kms / day).
- Scooters are not that much comfortable for long rides , go with some big 150 Aprilia as it can go to triple digit speed on highway
- Jupiter has a very good mileage 60km/l and has a 5l tank. So, Jupiter is a good choice among the three.
- We would like to state that we wanted to purchase Honda Activa 6G top model for which we had visited their showroom. After seeing the reviews and feedback from all public and Google, we had decided to go for this highly sold and best quality scooter. However to get a second option we went to TVS Century Automobiles Showroom to have a look at TVS Jupiter Top end model. Here Mr. Yashwant (Sales Exec) attended us and told about features of Jupiter ZX - Disc model Rs.89,423/-, that features are not available in Honda Activa 6gMr Yashwant confirmed that in Jupiter ZX disc brake model has all the modern features like remote petrol lid opener, remote boot (Dickey) opener and stylish mirrors. After seeing all these modern features as mentioned by Yashwant, we switched our mind to purchase Jupiter ZX disc model instead of Honda Activa 6g.This on 22nd Oct '20, we went to TVS Century Automobiles to book TVS Jupiter ZX Disc brake model. Here on further discussions, Mr Yashwant stated that we could go for a Drum brake Jupiter ZX model which is Rs. 4000 cheaper than Disc brake model and provides the same modern features as the Disc model. He further stated that Drum brake models are better than Disc brake models as Disc breaks are high on maintenance and also apply very quickly which may not be safe while taking small kids around. As I have a 5 yrs old daughter. He never showed the Drum model but somehow convinced with all the modern features this is the best model to cater to our needs. We got convinced for the safety of our child
- I don't trust this vehicle and Tvs company anymore. I purchased Jupiter in 2015. The usage of the vehicle is about 50-60kms per week (single person use)and predominantly at an average speed of 40kmph.So far,I rode about 14k kms. I get my scooter serviced at an authorized service center every 4 months and I replace oil (in every service). After my last service on 17.03.2021, I rode about 80 kms in one week and vehicle engine seized. I asked the dealer about the problem and root cause. He said the oil pump of the engine was weak and it failed supplying oil to the engine and hence the engine overheated and seized. The dealer person is so careless, and trying to manipulate in all ways possible and I have contacted tvs company for support and I didn't get any response yet. Don't know how I will proceed with this problem. I'm sure the part replacement and repair cost will be high. This experience made me think about why did I buy a tvs vehicle and what is the use of their servicing at authorized service centre.
- I bought a Jupiter BS IV in Jan '19. I had used Bajaj for 12 yrs, Activa 1st gen for 14 yrs. Bought the Jupiter for its better suspension for Mumbai potholes. First year faced no issues except for the indicator switch replace, not covered in warranty. After free service was over , took AMC with Innovative in Bhandup West. Then my nightmare began. Indicator swtich goes bad again, fuel gauge malfunctions, start problem every day. Gave the scooter for service, parts were replaced again. After an arguement, was given warranty of 1yr on replaced parts. After 3 months of service, same start problem, head bulb fused. Made repeated online complaints with company for repeated breakdowns, Jupiter taken to service center in June 21 and kept for 3 days. After using for 1 day, same problems. Advised Battery Replacement as battery warranty is for 1 year from date of purchase. MY GENUINE ADVICE 'DON'T BUY TVS PRODUCTS' REASONS: SPARE PARTS ARE OF POOREST QUALITY, SERVICE CENTER IS A CON CENTER. Never faced such severe issues in my earlier scooters. I repent buying a TVS product.
- More or less all are the same
- Jupiter or TVS NTorq
- Activa 125
- No , Small two wheel as for Activa , specially Jupiter ( Big Dia of wheels)not safe for Highway...
- Its a scooter not super bike. In short duration max 1.30 hrs ride else you will exhausted
- Yes
- Both are ergonomically good, but Activa is more on a heavier side than Jupiter due to its metal body and under-performing engine. Whereas Jupiter is lighter and have more powerful engine. Because of this, Jupiter is better in maneuverability even in heavy traffic's.
- Design of Jupiter is very stylish and comfortable for both ladies and jeants so no doubt get Jupiter right now
- Jupiter has a better design compared to many scooters in the market at the moment
- Required as per rule. But ,dealers hve to give pollution certificate of 1 yr validity for new jupiter. But in most places, they r not providing.
- Pollution Certificate is required for all vehicles running on roads no matter what.
- Is pollution certificate required in new ntorq Bs6
- In the latest models of TVS Jupiter, we can set the time.
- Yes we can change, Thanks...it works..😎
- You will be putting it on wall?
- 2018 model jupiter how much exchange price .....i will buy two wheeler in same showroom .9632392022
- Tvs Jupiter zx BS 4 model no. 2017बेच के new Tvs Jupiter zx ले सकते है
- Yes. Most showrooms provide exchange offer for Jupiter
- Performance is same any variant will do the only change us if ur looking for looks then classic looks better
- U can choose any one all are same accept cosmetics performance wise all are same
- Jupiter Classic is the best bet
- Can accommodate a full face helmet and few nick-knacks such as gloves, scarf etc.
- One helmet xxlarge plus one water bottle space.
- Bigger than activa
- Yes. Any vehicle can be exchanged for another vehicle. It is just that the re-sale value will be almost 20% lower than the new vehicle. So, it would not make sense to exchange a functional vehicle so quick.
- Contact nearest dealer
- 1. Please wait for festival offers. 2. Try to negotiate hard with the sales guys and club other offers or freebies to improve the value for money quotient. 3. Buy vehicle towards March of any year and the sales guys will give good offers just to make sure that their targets are getting met. 4. Buying in JanFeb for a Dec model vehicle will also help reduce as much as 10% of vehicle price , however, will give poor resale value in future. 5. There are always discounts for Govt Servants, IT employees, Teachers, Doctors or other Professionals (other than Lawyers). Claim that discount too. Sometimes, instead of such discounts, sales guys will arrange for free insurance (nowadays, rare!) 6. If you are a Defense employee, buying from Army Canteen (a.k.a CSD canteen) can also help is massively reducing the price. Hope this helps!
- I went to bye a tvs jupeter two weeler
- Yes
- While Jupiter's biggest competitor (Activa 5G) carries a rudimentary bottom link suspension, Jupiter offers a much more advanced telescopic suspension. Jupiter offers 12 inch wheels while Activa still runs with 10inch wheels, which means Jupiter is better to control over broken roads. Jupiter seats are much more comfortable than Activa. Our Jupiter is a generation older than our Activa 5G an is still much more advanced, cheap to maintain, is enthusiastic to ride and returns much better fuel efficiency that the latter. Hope this helps!
- I am not an engineer to and this quest ion.
- Only activa 125...
- Front wheel mudguard and side panels are metallic. Front body and rear panel (fuel outlet) are fibre made. This is Aero dynamically designed that you won't find in any other scooter.
- Yes, but not totally.Only the front area where front indicators are located is made of fibre.
- Back is of metal and near indicator is of fibre
- Jupiter is great on rear suspension , when you consider engine life, mileage ,resale value please go Honda, Jupiter gives 40 max
- I will suggest tvs, because vehicle is good and their service is better than honda.
- Go for TVS Jupiter.
- Definitely. A lot of Jupiters found at the service center where we leave our vehicle for periodic maintenance, has done close to or more than 50K kms and are still running just fine. If maintenance is done periodically, it will last a long time without any major mechanical complaints.
- Depending upon the time frame as well as how efficiently maintenance is done.
- Jupiter is bead performance than activa it's geart than jupiter
- Every scooter irrespective of the Company Brand that are manufactured after April 2020 has to be BS6 compliant. No company can continue manufacturing BS4 engines now.
- Bs6 has started manufacturing but you need to confirm the same with the dealership while purchasing as bs4 n 6 has some price difference
- Yeah. It comes with new bs6 norms with some new changes like led headlight charging port and mobile pocket at front
- Jupiter is cheap to own and maintain. We just get the vehicle serviced at regular intervals and that's it. No more fuss
- Both are equally good at this point of view.
- Access 125
- I'm having a battery problem in my Jupiter ZX Tata company ki battery lag ke mili hai even abhi sirf 2 hi service hui haiPlz solve my problem
- Ours came originally with an Exide lead-acid battery. After 3yrs, we now had to replace it with an Exide maintenance free battery
- AMCO battery. It's not a dry battery. Liquid type Works fine. 2 years warranty.
- Use a high pressure air nozzle (found at spray painting booths)
- Dip a rug in petrol and clean around and inside the hole. Don't use any other type of cleaning agent inside it
- Better to take service center.
- TVS Zest will be the best. It is not too powerful and if purchased new, will serve customers for a long time. However, if the person already has cycling experience, Hero Pleasure, TVS NTorq, Suzuki Lets or Yamaha Fascino too are good options
- All scooty is good but i bought TVS jupiter and trained my my wife and 2 sisters one is 13 years old and 2nd one is 17 years old within an hour.
- Scotty pep +
- I will recommend Jupiter ZX over NTORQ. Jupiter ZX looks very premium and decent compared to ntorq as the latter is more sporty looking and much better suited for teenagers. In terms of ride comfortability also, Jupiter ZX is better in my opinion.
- In comfort both are almost same. If you want more juice in your ride with Cool looking and equally functional digital panel, buy ntorque. Jupiter! It is goods, just grab your friends Jupiter and ride it to check out if it is enough for you or not.
- No doubt Jupiter is best, but if you want new technology & powerful product, go for Ntorq.
- TVS Jupiter any day. The seat is more comfortable, the wheels are large and thus offer better control over poor surfaces, the suspension is many time better than the pre-historic suspension set up of Activa 5G. Jupiter's engine is smoother and offers better mileage when ridden alone.
- Activa 5g
- There is no specific answer. It's just like this: Jupiter < Activa
- Yes But disc brakes are not at all required in any scooter. In fact you must opt for drum brakes compared to disc brakes. SURPRISED? Well understand one thing that disc brakes are ideally fitted in high speed motorcycles. Scooters work differently.
- Yeah
- Yes
- Ask with nearest dealer
- Contact your dealer and financer
- Go for near showroom
- It doesn't matter from where you have purchased, just go to any nearest good service centre.
- You can go to any tvs service centre
- It doesn't matter from where you have purchased, just go to any nearest good service centre.
- No cash discount available. Price will be +20000 to actual ex.showroom price
- Jupiter
- Go for showroom
- Yes. TVS seats are ideal for most people and the suspension also helps the vehicle have much better ride quality than Activa 5G
- Yes
- Yes
- Burgman is big one good to showoff only Jupiter is more practical to drive
- Dono bekar h
- In scooter type TVS Jupiter is the best..Good smooth and a technical advance
- You should sell the bike if it comes to full engine work
- It depends how much you ride your scooter and on what speed you ride it.
- Please contact your local TVS workshop.
- Access is a good option, but personally I won't prefer Suzuki two wheelers as their dealers give $π|try service at our place.. I sold of my bike just because of pathetic service by Suzuki team..
- Yes Access gives a good feel without vibrations, selling it cos local mechanics are fearing to repair it ,if you go to dealer they may charge more
- Bhai plz go for..activa 125 bs6 or.access 125In dono k alava al scooty very bad
- Jupiter, and if you want to go light then buy an electric cycle. Just kidding. Look, you can even ride 400kg bike easily. Even if you are under 5 feet height. So, just buy better. Forget light and heavy.
- Tvs Jupiter..please see other answers and specs..pleasure is good for those who feel activa and Jupiter heavy.
- Tvs jupiter is better, but if u want lighter scooter, then go for hero pleasure
- Any model if Jupiter will fit female riders. My spouse rides a Jupiter ZX (without disc brake) and she just loves it. Compared to the Activa 5G which my father in law rides, Jupiter is smoother, gives better fuel economy and is very good with suspension (no back ache). Also, Jupiter has the best leg space, helping my spouse during weekend shopping :)
- Jupiter STD
- Activa 5g
- Refer owner's manual
- 2 valve
- Access had more power than zx but less mileage. Wht do you want more power or more mileage it's on you.
- Access 125
- Jupiter zx is comfortable but suzuo access 125 is more powerful
- TVS Jupiter is still the best in the 110cc segment. You will never go wrong by choosing it. It has smooth refined engine with peppy performance, big wheels with alloys, best suspension set up, good handling & surprisingly good aftersales service.
- Jupiter is best..
- Jupiter no doubt.
- It's much better than Honda Activa. We own Activa 4G(Sister's ride) & Jupiter so I can safely tell you. Jupiters spare parts are cheaper than Activa also if you have service center in near vicinity TVS service approach is good. As per my personal experience I felt Honda guys are not bothered about their customers.
- Company gives us free services,we have to go for servicing time to time. And if we did it in time performance, mileage, and sound is smooth. And after free services u have to be go for servicing time to time.
- Not very great. But it varies from service centres. Better visit a local mechanic and get your servicing done in front of you.
- If want a scooter then buy Jupiter. And if u want a bike then u should try hero hf deluxe which is suitable for low hight rider.
- If you are just below 5feet than you can ride everything. Not a concern of height.
- U can use Jupiter its unisex ... N comfortable too ...
- I would recommend tvs jupiter and tvs jupiter grande both are very comfortable as this consists telescope suspension and very comfortable seat with great look and performance! Milage is also 50km /liter wich it get don't have second choice go for tvs jupiter! You know My Honda activa frinds said to me that tvs jupiter is soo comfortable 😂😊
- Tvs Jupiter is better than honda activa 5g.. Jupiter is more convenient and comfortable..it is very easy to handle also...
- Hands down Jupiter. Better aftersales, Better suspension for comfort, 12" wheels keep scooter stable even at 80-85kmph.
- They again relanchaned it
- Classic already has all the features of grande with better seat cushioning and pillion rider back rest.
- 3 step Adjustable rear suspension
- Jupiter standard, have 4 no machines with my family
- Standred
- Standard, as when I purchased in 2015, that was the only verient available.
- No accessories are not included. U can purchase accessories in lower rate from auto market. Coz company's accessories rate is higher than market.
- Not included
- Yes it's including accessories
- At malegaon we have roughest road camparing to all india but still I never have any backpain
- I have not experienced any back pain using Jupiter from 2014.
- Surely you experience. since suspension is minor. it is common with all scooters. ntorq is best in suspension
- Jupiter is safe for women, especially if they're worried about back ache. Among the three Jupiter offers longest wheelbase, telescopic suspension and large 12 inch tyres. All of these were considerations while I bought Jupiter for my wife. She had to travel approx 16kms through broken roads and moving from ActivaScooty pep (the two other scooters at home) to Jupiter was the best decision we took.
- Activa 5g as it is the most selling brand with good resale value...Jupiter classic or grand for value for money ..mobile charger outside ..suspension ..fascino comes third for style and smaller dimension with excellant brakes.
- Dear, Go For Jupiter. its Has good mileage with great pick up. More Stylish With Extra Comfort, Although you Cant Get Resale but you can't find any reason to sale. just go for it
- More classic features likes, back seat rest and front glass visor and round mirror
- There is some new colours n some changes in handle n side mirror .. rest all the features are same in all tvs Jupiter models
- In zx and classic only looks is different,Engine and other facilities are same.
- Every scooter has some pros and cons. Engine performance is the best in honda activa. Access has good pick up. But activa has two variants that are 110cc and 125cc Access is available only in the 125cc segment. Jupiter only has 110cc variant. So comparison does not make sense. But overall taking into account all the parameters Jupiter wins the race. Understand scooters are primarily used for short distance city rides at an average speed of 45-50 km/h. Don't try to use your scooter like a motorcycle. They work altogether differently.
- Jupiter is best in terms of suspension brakes is also good even drum brakes . Activa is not perfect in terms of suspension access have full fiber body and rim size is small
- Select between Jupiter (for long duration travel for single rider) or Access (weight carrying capacity). Avoid Activa 5G
- NTorq will be a good option as a drop in mileage due to large capacity engine will not be a concern
- I think Jupiter is the best option. Because ntorq is a sports scooter. And it is more heavier than Jupiter. So when you go in between 5- 10 km/h Jupiter is more comfortable for you.
- TVS Jupiter is the best scooter in 110 cc segment, however if you want fun to ride scooter look no further than ntorq.
- I was riding Jupiter in busy traffic suddenly a Renault Kwid rammed my scooter from back i heard the sound of crash and stopped and looked at the mudguard and number plate, it was fine and flexible enough to tolerate minor crash. Both Activa and Jupiter have metal body. But if you have a crash or slip from side then no scooter can tolerate it.
- Activa 6g.bs6
- Activa 5G
- मेरे पास jupiter 2015 model है इसको exchange करना चाहते हैं Koi ऑफर हो तो batayein
- My scooty 2016model something 15000kml and tvs Jupiter my exchange price please fast answer
- My bick is 2017 model 57000 kmpl and ismart 110cc my bick exchange price
- My daughter has 4'_10", she's comfortable with it
- Yes
- Yes it's comfortable.if u want light weight body then u should try scooty or hero pleasure.
- Its depends on how much km you ride a day , if you ride 100km per day you have to spend 2000 bucks on service it self
- I own Jupiter for past 2 years trust me i haven't taken my scooter to any local mechanic. I just do regular service from TVS Authorized service center at very reasonable cost.
- Nope, Jupiter is a low maintenance scooter doesn't matter which version you own. If you service it once in a six month it will last long for many years.
- Jupiter is best in allThe only issue is service centers, Ghatiya local garages are more better than
- Jupiter is the best for your expectations
- Jupiter classic is classy typ go for it
- Jupiter can also be specified with a disc brake up front. It gets a pass-switch, which is an important feature to have while riding at night. You get an external fuel-filler cap which saves you the effort of lifting up the seat every time you need to fill upIt always had 12-inch tyres with alloy wheels and telescopic suspension.Seat of tvs jupiter classic is more than comfortable I recommend you tvs jupiter classic it comes with all the above features
- Activa is quite heavy as compare with Jupiter. Jupiter is very easy to ride in traffic or in jams. It is so easy to put the main stand of Jupiter, just keep your leg on hike and push a little, where In case of Activa we have stand up on that hike and to pull the activa with our whole strength. If possible try it or ask any other Jupiter user face to face
- My father-in-law (aged >65) owns an Activa 5G and my spouse has a Jupiter. His preference is Jupiter after riding it. My father (aged >75) has a Wego and he loves it over any other make or model. Conclusion : TVS vehicles will score better than Activa, any day
- Of Trust me of course yes.
- Yes ... Too good
- Yes, good
- Scooter, as we have to chhange gears which is a headache and improper changing of gears may result in damage to transmission. so scooter is the best option.
- Same
- Its very easy with scooter in city, for easy ride.
- Certainly you can go for Alto K10. It's more powerful, with great power to weight ratio. It has great mileage too. I get around 23-24kmpl on petrol & 28-29kmpl on CNG mode. Also you won't notice any decrease in performance on CNG mode with AC. It easily cruise at 130Kmph on CNG mode with AC on. I drove Alto 800 & noticed too much power loss. So extra money you pay for K10 over F8D engine is worth every single penny.
- If you want to buy scooter you can opt any1 all are mostly similar in seat hieght
- No there will be some space issue for your legs
- I think Jupiter is better than activa. Active maintainance is expensive.
- Activa have 125 cc.. n Jupiter have only 109 cc..milege are same price also almost same... I m ok with Jupiter .
- Activa 125
- Use kick for every first start in a day. Rotate handle as sometimes wires gets choked. Use choke for 5 min. It happens with all scooters. They are not magic machine, they also need care and a proper way to ride.
- For new vehicle, it is quite usual to have such starting issues. Suggest you use the choke function to start the vehicle. If problem persists, then take it to nearest service center for an inspection
- If does not start on self then on the choke button/lever and then press the self button, and leave it on choke for 20to30 sec. I also face this problem sometimes.
- No, in BS4 and BS6 model as per government rules the lights should always be on. Although you can change from low beam to high beam
- Only upper dipper switch is available.On-off switch is not there
- Ignition system switch off not available
- Pata nahi, meri jupiter classic to average k mamle ek dam 3rd class hai, ya 3rd se bhi down bol sakte hai..40 kmpl ka hi average de rahi highway ride pe bhi.. service center wale not able to do anything....🤯🤯🤯🤯
- Jupiter is satisfied scooter used by people.. n NTorq is new . Both from TVS but Jupiter k sabi problems k solution apko easily mil jayenge nkoi b new item me problem n solution nikalne me tym lgta h . Jab log NTorq ko use krenge tb problem n solution ka pta chalega . Bs yahi farq h
- N-TORQUE IS SEXY , BELIEVE ME ! BUT THAT FAMILY COMFORT IS IN JUPITER.
- Activa 6g bs6 best h
- Both r almost same there is no difference in power but Jupiter's maintenance is less than it
- Same power but i think weight of jupiter is less so its pickup is more.
- माइलेज तो सभी स्कूटर का लगभग एक जैसा ही है लकिन TVS jupiter की लुक ओर स्कूटर से अच्छी है ओर फीचर तो है ही
- TVS Jupiter is the best bet today considering Riding comfort, braking, decent fuel economy, low service costs, decent looks, larger wheels and telescopic front suspension which offers good ride control. The vehicle ages pretty well too.
- Activa 125...or suzuki access 125 in dono k alava kuch mt lena
- Dono bekar h
- PREETI JI, I THINK YOU BUY ACTIVA 5G
- TVs Jupiter
- Tvs Jupiter base model , current price Rs 61500,if you pay cash or paytm. Plus you get 4500 paytm coupons which you use in paying bills. Never purvhase accessories from dealers, they cost 3000 while in open market, you buy them in Rs 800 easily
- U can go in several showrooms because thy can give u overall estimate n discount too
- Howmany EMI and months
- Every scooter mentioned here has some major drawbacks.1. TVS not a comfortable ride and engine isn't smooth.service is poor.2. Suzuki engine isn't smooth, service is poor.3. Vespa poor average, low dealership so is service and most important exuberently priced.
- Jupiter is always the best choice from above three vehicle but if you want 125 cc scooter then look for Ntorq 125 this is best scooter in comparison with other 125cc scooters
- Access better in all forms ..
- Opening seat boot without keys have been quite popular with Activa. Please watch this video. So pls go ahead and buy any scooter which suits your requirement.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bl6JdW9sKCA
- Nahi bhai tera hath waha tak jayega b nahi or fir b tune saal diya toh b tu khol paya nahi kyu ki dhakan upar hai mere bhai.neche se hath saal ke kya karega
- Vehicle theaf can do anything.. but its not that much easier. So don't worry ... All the parts n wires are coved n safe inside
- You will always satisfied with Jupiter.I m the 6 year old Jupiter user, still obtain the average of 52 to 55. Pick up is a lk so as it is, and I have spent only on servicing. Still I have not replace any part.
- You will always satisfied with Jupiter.I m the 4 year old Jupiter user, still obtain the average of 55 to 58. Pick up is a lk so as it is, and I have spent only on servicing. Still I have not replace any part.
- No
- Yeah, like all other jupiter variants. (But some parts are fiber like front upper & middle parts & back side parts.Only front mudgad & body is made of metal).
- Side panels r metal and front is fibre
- Front panel is fiber only 90 percentage metal
- Simply an electronic ignition with spark advance feature. Meaning, the sparks at ignition will be controlled basis the engine load and engine speed. This ensures better fuel combustion and mileage, while reducing pollution. Hope this helps!
- Depends on your requirement. Disc Brake variant is good option than drum brake version. As for instrument cluster its a personal choice. I prefer ananlouge than digital. So is the case for Colour combination also.
- As far as the engine and other parts related to performance are concerned, they are exactly the same. The only difference is the cosmetics. That is the look of the scooter. Disc brake and adjustable suspension to add a bit. But they are not that important in a scooter.
- If you are not fond of Mobile charger, Digital meter ... simply go for Base variant.... ZX variant comes with digital odo & Mobile charger + boot light...
- Suspensions of Jupiter are awesome, It give very smooth ride on every type of damage road. Even you can pass speed breakers very smoothly. But don't drive rash, otherwise it will lost his smoothness soon.Compare to any without gear scooter, Jupiter's shockers are very good.
- Suspensions of Jupiter are awesome, It give very smooth ride on every type of damage road. Even you can pass speed breakers very smoothly. But don't drive rash, otherwise it will lost his smoothness soon.Compare to any without gear scooter, Jupiter's shockers are very good.
- If back ache due to bumpy roads are your issue, please avoid automatic scooters. Instead pick up a motorcycle. They are far better due to improved suspension travel and weight distribution. However, if one still want a scooter, yes. Jupiter is the relative winner in this.
- Not really. Jupiter is the best compromise between comfort, safety, fuel economy and durability at the best price possible. If your thing is performance, better look at Aprilia SR160.
- It's pick up is good. It pulls 2 people in the traffic nicely. I have done maximum of 85 and maintained the speed for about 25-30 mins, no proplem occured. It meets my requirement of performance very well, great pick up.
- If you are looking for a commuter scooter go for Jupiter 110 CC. It is far better than Activa 6g. Great performance, design and cost effective.
- I'm a Jupiter's owner.The mileage of Jupiter is less than 25/kpl
- I own a Jupiter and It gives mileage of 45-48kmpl in city
- Very bad only 35
- I think Divyol engine oil is best for jupiter.............Divyol Spin X4 20W40 is the leading Motorcycle engine oil.....It is the best engine oil. I have been personally using it since the last 6 months.
- Both r good for 4 stroke engine.
- Doesn't matter for a scooter
- There is sufficient space. I keep a studds full size helmate easily. And for other goods, it is sufficient.
- Just for Middle size helmet along with papers, dusting cloth and Small Pocket objects.
- Almost you place 10 kg potatoes in its, not satisfied just buy them
- The scooter is lightweight and suitable for girls(short is fine too short isn't 😅)
- It's good & suitable for short persons
- Jupiter is suitable for everyone. Suspension is really good, you do not feel bumps on your back
- Riding two wheelers is a matter of practice. A TVS 100 XL or Honda cliq (second hand) will be the best for that height. Jupiter will not be good as a beginner. For an experienced two wheeler rider, Jupiter is okay.
- Only activa 125 or access 125 indono k alava koi scooter best nhi h
- Yes. Get the seat foam cut and set as per the height.
- *In Grande it comes form store*Remaining varients port is available under seat need to install
- It is an optional extra. Customer may opt to avail this for a cost.
- It's fully petrol based
- Q. Which is the better Suzuki access 125 or TVS Jupiter?
- Yes it's much better than wego
- Of course Jupiter is better!
- Activa is better than Jupiter ( महंगा रोए एक बार सस्ता रोए बार-बार)
- Its stylish comfortable with good breaks and all those alloys make it more faster than activa was at some time lol
- Activa 125 best h
- Good,best and better performance is activa,{ थोड़े ज्यादा पैसे लग जाए अच्छा ही लो}
- Performance of all Jupiter model is same, only braking is good with disk brakes model like classic and zxfuel economy 45-48 kmplprice on road is different in every city please check with nearest distributor
- May I know price of each and EMI for how months Activa and Jupiter both
- No............no........
- Yes
- Ya. Better than Hero pleasure .
- Tvs Jupiter is far better when compared with hero pleasure. I personally prefer u to choose Jupiter grand which is advanced in every single way
- For first time rider pleasure is good bcoz it's weight is lighter than Jupiter
- Juipter is better then hero and as comparatively price is less than hero
- No.. it is lighter and leaner than Activa. Activa looks heavy and is bulky due to which it is not suited for short and lean riders.
- Jupiter is probably 1kg lighter than Activa 5g.
- No
- Yes, it come mrf tyre but these city type roar tyre and very sleepery, I felt three times.
- No..I guess! Because TVS itself made tyres so they'll use their own.
- TVS has its own tyre
- Dono bekar h
- Vespa is advanced to Jupiter. this is lik comparing pulsar 220 with splendor
- Lol u can't compare a vespa to other scooters, it is in a different level
- If you want comfort & speed you can go for jupiter. If you want power,go for activa, activa has more reliable & efficient engine.Jupiter's engine will not last for more time as it has large bore & short stroke
- 1) Mileage 2) Suspension 3) Comfort 4) Light Weight, easy to ride in city traffic 5) fuel knob is external6)Low on maintenance 7) Eco meter, indicates riding mode8) Service Stations are big issue in Thane and bhiwandi, they give you feel of local garages.
- Comparing two of the best scooters a bit difficult but Jupiter win with .5 basis points for drivebility smooth on patchy roads, other things like maintaince engine life, mileage are at par so I suggest go with Jupiter
- For two years its 3900rs..first five service free of labour charges.around 350rs each..5 th little high as spark plug is replaced near to 1400rs but labour charge free ...change of brake pads ..cost some extra ..not pocket burning..
- Between INR 700 and INR 1200 depending on cost of consumables and labour varying with the kilometers ridden.
- First service cost is 400 plus 130 GST
- It's optional u have to pay for it
- No
- Hai

- Jupiter is All over is the winner of All the Criteria you put it in ..as of it's best milage in real world i got was 50 kmpl, It's suspensions are far more better than any of the same scooter in its class and it's combined with 12" tyres which helps alot like seriously Alot on bad or straight roads making Jupiter's Handling Very Easy and Stress free comparing to what Activa Offers, Maintaining a Jupiter or Activa is some how very same with minor differences still After free services go for a Local but Experienced Mechanic cuz then you can have your Scooter serviced before your very eyes and Value for money is Jupiter according to me ..i reasearched every aspect and took test drives bak to back and lastly Jupiter was my choice over the No1. Selling Scooter in India.
- Jupiter classic is the best scooter than others. Test drive it.
- Jupiter is better handling
- All are same
- Will be difficult to handle. Get the seat re arranged and set according to your height. This can be done by cutting the foam of the seat which is easily done by any seat maker. Good seating position is very crucial while riding any bike or scooter. Don't compromise on that part.
- Handling is very light, control in slow traffic is better then other scooters in segment. For short it is the best in the segment.
- Absolutely.
- Yes. But it is known as SYNC BRAKE in Jupiter. Many Jupiter owners are not aware that we need to press both the brakes together whenever we apply brakes in Jupiter. Unlike Activa where we apply the left brake for the rear tyre first and then if required the right brake for the front tyre. This has been highlighted in manual of the Jupiter. Check it out.
- Synchronised braking system (SBS)as most depends on rear brake only..little is transferred to front brakes for better stopping power.
- No CBS but sync braking system which engages front brakes along with rear brake which prevents sliding of vehicle
- Yes ..no need to lift seat for fuelling...charger outside on the front ...so charging on the go..can put helmets and chocolates for grand children..good space below seat.low fuel warning indicators..good headlights ....so these are for them to use.good luck .ride safe
- TVS Jupiter is better for senior citizen due to body balance technology. My father in law (65+) feels that our Jupiter is way better than his Activa 5G due to better brakes, seats, weight management and better suspension. Since he stays close by, he uses our Jupiter more often.
- Jupiter is good but,if he is thin & short go for pleasure bcs Jupiter has some weight & not suitable for short people
- Jupiter Grande accelerates smoothly.
- It depends. If you'll leave the accelerator speed will decrease it's about smoothness of the vehicle
- Jupiter has already a good acceleration .
- Mine is milenium edition price about 65000 in punjab two years past, mileage in city about 40 and highway around 50
- Price is 55k to 60k.. milage is around 30.. performance is good
- Price approx 7ok abd millega aprox 35 to 40 in city highway 45
- Yes. The first Scotty introduced which has telescopic socksobseebers and alloy wheels and pass light switch
- Yes
- Yes it does have
- Tvs Jupiter please see all answers..grazia has ignition problems ues cdi(using capacitor)when Jupiter has it controlled by electronics (idi)..calculate engine load.and starts...Honda need solve the issue . Jupiter had best halogen headlamps superior to gracias led...so Jupiter is the choice .
- Both are from different category. If executive scooter is the preference, then Jupiter. If stylish commuter is the choice, then Grazia.
- TVs is 110 cc Scotty grazia is 125 So . Compare grazia with TVs ntorq . And obviously NTORQ is far better then grazia . In every condition
- Activa 6g..bs6
- Jupiter would always be preferred for better suspension and alloy wheels
- There is no specific answer. It's just like this: Jupiter < Activa
- Yes
- Yes
- Yes Jupiter is better in performance.. but in looks dio is better
- Yes, we can remove that mirror!!
- Yes. better you purchase without that
- Yes it can be removed on your own.
- Jupiter has superior suspension thsn activa 5g sn hydraulic with gas in rear while 5g has simple hydraulic spring. front suspension almost same..overall Jupiter is better in ride quality ..
- Jupiter for sure as Activa tyers are small n less grippy make very hard to manage during rainy..
- Jupiter in terms of Mileage and Activa 5G in terms of other aspects
- Battary is not good quality it will come 11 to 12 month only
- Nope. Probably zx might have
- Check it
- Jupiter STD has a standard engine while Jupiter zx has a turbocharged 110cc 1cylinder while mileage is almost same
- Accessories colour
- In engine there us no difference only difference between looks and accessories.
- *LED tail lights available in grande* Remaining bikes have Halogen (Multi-Reflector Type)
- Yes in grande and classic fuel injected models in front.rear led is on all models
- Yes I have the classic BS6 variant, and it has got LED headlamp
- Yes better style suspension..outside charger..good headlamps..storage space..choose grand or classic..Hero duet will improve for sure..
- No, but you take activa
- Definitely
- Jupiter
- Jupiter because it is light in weight and best in mileage also
- Jupiter! Undoubtedly! Excellent engine!
- It has refined (as good as Activa), fuel efficient, peppy engine. Telescopic forks in front (Absence in Activa) results in better ride quality. Both wheels are 12 inch tubeless tires (Activa has 10", without alloys, no other scooters in this segment has 12 inch wheels in front & rear) Bigger wheels offer better stability at high speed. External fuel filler, no need to get up from the seat at fuel station (absence in Activa), Passlight switch (missing in Activa), Larger footboard area, Seating position is better than Activa (while taking U turn handlebars won't touch knees of tall riders), better pricing of scooter with cheaper spares, Sturdy body & finally better aftersales service (better than Activa, Honda take customers for granted) Aur kya chahiye?
- It depends on your usage. Do you daily travel for more than 30kmpl then buy a bike instead and protect your back bone.
- Only activa 125 bs6
- Aviator is good...avrege mileage sb acha h me jupiter chala rha hu very bed experience oil bahut pita h
- *Aviator doesn't have market value *Otherwise go for Activa*Jupiter is best choice
- I own a Jupiter but personally like Aviator for its looks
- Jupiter always because the main issue with suzuki access is it's maintenance if it is not maintained properly it well led to engine breakdown very soon and than after that it will happen again and again because air filter compartment of access is placed above tyre so air gets inside it very frequently so if you don't replace it's air filter at regular interval then you will face engine problems
- Your question is for TVS jupiter and Suzuki. These are scottie not geared scooter of earlier time. In scooty, Piaggio vespa is available in thr Indian market. Target it. Your confusion will ward off automatically.
- If you want to buy jupiter, then go for jupiter base or zx or grande not for classic,& Access is also good in terms of engine smoothness & power,& high speed riding
- Basically all Jupiter model has same engine it's all about the looks and personal choice. But if you want little bit premium looking Jupiter then you should look for classic or Grande variant. I'll suggest you to take disc brakes variant as it will add to your safety and breaking will be better than drum variant.
- Go for jupiter classic only if ur City has good roads otherwise u will have to remove the visor in the front Variant with disc break is safest and provides better handling as scoties hv high pick up
- Jupiter classic I am using ....its excellent to drive for routine day to day job..
- Reserve capacity is one litter. Tank capacity is 5.3L. 4.3L for on mode and 1 L in reserve. Reserve indicator is also given which is automatically get on when u have petrol less than 1L
- TVs Jupiter bs4 zx slow me gadi bodh badha rahahe
- In all scooters there is no reserve mode. capacity is 5 litres. there will be a fuel indicator at 1 litre point.
- Wego plus latest ignition system..new front suspension as in bikes (telescopic) rear suspension with gas adjustable plus led headlamps ..is the Jupiter grand..more comfort less mileage..wego 70km pet litre Jupiter 50 km per litre as per Tvs.
- I'll suggest to buy Jupiter as it offers more practicality as compared to wego as it has more space in boot and floor board. also Jupiter is having more comfortable seat than wego and a road presence also
- Performance wise JUPITER is very Nice. But the Painting is very poor. THINK IT IS ONE LAYER COATING. Even it is a small scratch, the paint is getting up like a LAYER. WE NEVER EXPECT THIS FROM TVS.
- My scooter is 4 yr old & its perfect, we get all d spares at Bangalore, mean while for warranty details, kindly check the user manual given by the dealer
- Report to TVS at their toll-free number. All issues will be resolved
- If you have poor service write to TVS or call in TOLL-FREE. you will be serviced at your doorstep
- I have one, its cool. But later side mirror becomes a pain. You have to tighten the Front windshield once a week or daily, it depends on your usage. Nuts of side mirror gets rusty easily. Seat is comfy, pillion back rest looks cool. Other than color option everything is same.
- Jupiter classic is better looks than std version, and try also new model "Jupiter grande".
- Jupiter standard is better it looks simple and good performance
- Both are good for performance, only difference in instrument cluster.Grande has better one. if budget is not problem then you can go for Grande.
- In terms or performance both are same but in Grande there are few more features which cost around 4-5 thousand more than Std
- Both are same when we talk about engine.in grand few changes are made like front disk brake and digital meter etc. And I don't know about, that grand edition is bs6 or not.
- If you plan to purchase by finance then you are eligible to get scheme from finance company. But in cash purchase you have to bargain or try to get gift or something else from dealer.
- What offers in activa125 bs6 for government employee
- No
- Take a test ride and decide. We tested both and went with the Drum brake version as my spouse felt that disc brake was too sharp and may lock the wheels on gravel.
- Classic edition
- Classic
- Classic, nice seats nd looks (color scheme) with back rest (passenger), 2 chrome finished mirror and with windshield.Grande, is discontinued.
- Jupiter classic
- Jupiter classic
- 5 litre tank with 1 litre reserve.
- Every bike has different capacity.
- 5.3 liters
- Yes you can go for Tvs Jupiter or Suzuki access then Activa 4g/5g they both are good in mileage easy to handling Tvs gives you good mileage and Suzuki gives you new design with good engine
- Tvs jupiter is far better than activa 4g or 5g. Honda has a brand value that is why people prefer activa than jupiter. Else Tvs jupiter is a value for money product, in every aspect.
- Activa's body is a l'l bit heavy than Jupiter so when I tried both I decided to buy Jupiter coz of easy handling and mileage is also good from activa 4g or 5g.
- My take will be to purchase the disc brake variant, due to improved braking. However, have heard mixed response from owners regarding the braking performance. Disc brakes being a new feature, riders (esp. >= middle aged riders) found it to be dangerous especially on Indian roads which is filled with loose sandgravel and oil. ABS for disc brakes should be mandatory!
- Both are having disc brakes but if you want better features then go with Jupiter grande
- Jupiter classic is best option against zx disc coz in scooter disc brakes is dangerous in emergency braking. So classic is better than zx disc
- In these three options u choose from Jupiter classic or 5g. Both r similar mileage and maintenance. Aviator is much heavy and less mileage against them & maintenance cost is also high.
- In these models Tvs Jupiter gives you much better mileage than other models. Tvs Jupiter gives you 45 to 50 kmpl
- Honda aviator best h
- There may be offers during festivals regarding less down payments & less int. & no reduction for cash payment
- You should contact your near showroom or if you are a member then, please contact to your service center.
- Now it has Christmas and year ending offers please check zigwherls site.
- Wow, my answer. No. Just directly go for Vespa. Or remain with Jupiter/ntorque. Nothing else in between.
- No major problem.
- Yes even mee too 6 ft, no problem in riding Jupiter with family
- At Chennai, all dealers quote the price including insurance, tax, registration and accessories. So during test drive itself we knew the onroad price and what all were included in the same.
- Year 2017 purchase jupiter 58500..this time coast high
- In TIRUPATI zx is sold at 92000 ..it is very high
- Girls view: do they have x Ray vision. Just kidding. Even a girl with a height less than 5 feet can ride a 400kg bike. On the other hand it's just a puny tiny little scooter.
- It is a unisex scooter
- Hero pleasure lo
- Yes, TVS Jupiter has an improved suspension travel due to Telescopic (advanced than the old Activa suspension set-up) forks in the front. The seats are also accommodating and the 12 inch wheels help in improved handling. This reduces rider fatigue considerably.
- It's Better than what Activa Offers, However It's just better than Activa not Wonderful! If you like to spend approx 600 bucks replace Jupiter's Stock rear suspension with TVS Jupiter Grande's 3 Step Adjustable rear suspension.
- Much better experience. i drove both Jupiter and Activa. Also wheel size is bigger so it soaks smaller obstacles with far more ease than honda.
- No, scooter is made up for this purpose. So, buy a good quality expensive bike instead which can protect your back.
- No
- Yes
- Jupiter may not be the best for weight carrying. Suzuki Access 125 may be the best for your job
- Activa 125 only
- Basic ZX
- Jupiter ZX is better in terms of price. Everything on classic is purely cosmetic, but looks better.
- Avrege to wahi ani h no mileage
- Jupiter zx and classic are have the same engine and mileage.
- Compulsory insurance is 5 years third party and 1st year first party. From second year onwards it is optional to buy 1st party insurance. You can also opt for 5+5 comprehensive insurance which is 5 years third party and 5 years first party insurance when you buy a new bike.
- 5years of third party coverage with first year comprehensive cover. You may opt to extend the comprehensive cover from 2nd year onwards
- At present for five years
- No go for something with low ground clearance..
- Tvs Jupiter or new hero pleasure
- Yes it's nice choice
- Yes easily available. If not go for online options. Jupiter is a very common scooter in India. Dealers make sure that they have the spare parts available. Don't worry.
- You should visit your nearest service center for the repair of your scooter which is suitable for you.
- It's not available in local fruit and vegetables market
- Engine life of Jupiter is at least as good as Activa 5G if not more. It could easily last 70K to 1 lakh kilometers without any issues (provided all services are done in time)
- On Jupiter is so refi
- Same
- Tvs ntorq is the best in class (125cc) scooter in the market with best ride quality, and loads of features in it and i mean it. It has a center weight equalization of engine which can be more relaxing in long commute to work. It is also the best looking in the segment. Milage is on the mid range Then comes the Suzuki burgman/access as they both are 125cc and are one of the best in market, the burgman is the smaller variant of bigger burgman 650 (not available in indian market). This both are good for long daily commute but you should prefer burgman because it is marketed as tourer and has some more practical features for long commute like more storage compartments and bigger leg space. It also have many of the features like ntorq. Burgman uses same access engine so you get the assurence of good quality in your hand. Milage will be decent Then there is honda grazia, another 125cc scooter Which is as always reliable in any conditions. Milage will be decent. Aprilia sr 125, the only Italian in the segment. You can choose this if you don't care about many features. But it has a good ride quality though And then there is also hero maestro 125 if you want it, although not suggested These were the 125cc segment scooter now if you prefer 100cc scooter then you can opt any one as they are pretty much the same but still go for honda or tvs as they will give you quality and will last long. My suggestion will be Suzuki burgman then ntorq then grazia and then access.
- My height is 5.10" and while I drive Jupiter I had no problem at all. My daily drive is about 20km, snd maintenance of Jupiter is very low in my city
- TVS Jupirer or Suzuki Access is the best choice.
- Pertrol. Electric is not yet come. May be TVS is developing a electric Jupiter for mass market.
- Petrol. I don't think Jupiter got an electric variant.
- Fully petrol.electric is not available yet.
- Jupitar
- Jupiter is best option for ladies.
- Try access 125
- On highway its gives you 45-50 kmpl. but if you riding in city (galii) it gives you up to 30-35, and maintenance cost is not too much.
- We get 48kmpl in city (Metropolitan) and 55kmpl on highways (around 120kms of round trip).
- Low maintenance and mileage is about 50-55
- In dry conditions on a well paved road, disc brakes are good. However, in cities where roads often has gravel, the Sync brakes are much more safe
- Disc brake
- Disk break
- Between 500 to 750 kms or 1 month
- Look at manual. As long as I remember its maybe after 2months or 500km. Whichever is earlier.
- Service center
- Jupiter is all over best, you can go for any variant. All are best.
- I would suggest jupiter zx.. Classic is just for the trim...
- Try Suzuki access 125. Best in class
- What do you mean by automatic. Do you mean, you open your boot and just leave and it get closed on its own. So, no.
- I don't know mere paas zx model h
- Yes
- Major differences are 1. Tyre size (12inch wheels in Jupiter, while Activa has smaller 10inch wheels)2. Front suspension (Telescopic in Jupiter, which is like motorcycles. Thus offering better road control especially under braking; Activa use the conventional bottom link suspension which is a very old and relatively poor technology).3. Weight (Activa is around a kilo heavier than Jupiter)4. Wheelbase (at 1275mm Jupiter has a massive 37mm advantage over Activa, thus ensuring better stability at high speeds) 5. Price (Jupiter is INR 3,000 cheaper than Activa5G)6. Torque (Activa produces 1Nm more than Jupiter, meaning better pulling with specific load)7. Wheels (Activa with older Steel wheels, while Jupiter offer alloy wheels)8. Resale value (Activa still commands a better resale value than Jupiter. God knows how!!)
- JUPITER GIVES YOU AVERAGE OF 50 TO 55, ACTIVA GIVES YOU AVERAGE OF 40 TO 45 MAX., JUPITER GIVES YOU MORE LEG ROOM, MORE STORAGE ROOM, EXTRA LARGE SEAT WITH CUSHION COMFORT.. EASY PETROL REFILE POINT,BIG HEADLAMPS FOR EXTRA BRIGHTNESS IN DARK OR HIGHWAY RIDE,PILOT LIGHTS IS THE UNIQUE FEATURE IN THIS SEGMENT,MAIN STAND IS SO SOFT THAT YOU CAN JUST PUT IT IN SINGLE LIGHT PUSH, ACTIVA WILL NOT
- – Honda Activa 5G is priced at INR 52,460 for the STD variant and at INR 54,325 for the DLX variant. Prices of the TVS Jupiter start at INR 49,966 and go up to INR 56,056 for the Classic Edition. – Honda Activa 5G is powered by a 109cc, single cylinder HET engine offering 8 PS power at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm. Fuel efficiency on the Activa 5G stands at 60 kmpl as against 62 kmpl offered by the engine of TVS Jupiter.
- The difference between Jupiter Standard and ZX are as follows.a. ZX gets LED headlamps while Standard has Halogen lampsb. ZX get adjustable shock absorberc. ZX get digital speedometer while Standard uses the old analogue meterFor these 3 there is an increased price of INR 2,500 for ZX
- Accessories

- It will be around 76000 to 85000 with all accessories, reg.,road tax, insurance etc.
- Contact nearest dealer
- 70000 k aas paas
- ZX without disc brakes are really good as the combi brakes are pretty effective. The price difference is approx INR 3,000 between disc and non-disc ZX variant
- Digital meter zx , classic is just classic. Everything is same as zx just lacks digital meter. But seat is more comfy not that you are going to sit on it for hours.
- Please see the milw suggestions
- Downpayment for TVS Jupiter depends on buyer's credit score, income, TVS sales offers and showroom specific offers. In Tamilnadu, there are showrooms which sell scooters with 80% finance, which means approx INR 14,000 should be paid upfront and the rest could be on installments.
- Depends on bank and your credit profile. Approach nearest dealership for detailed process
- You can opt finance however interest rates will be higher
- You can go to your nearest TVS Showroom and inquiry about down pement and EMI
- Please ask with nearest dealer
- Colours price 3000 extra coast
- Std
- Zx
- Definitely zx is a higher trim it's better...
- Depends on your engine performance. If your mileage is around 50 kmpl, then 20-25 kms can be covered after reaching the low fuel mark. To be more precise the fuel remaining is 500-600 ml.
- Typically, around 50 kilometers. However, do not trust the indicator blindly. We just fuel it back within the next 20kms to avoid any issues.
- 25 KM
- It's in a different way..Jupiter has got 6 variants and 12 colours .standard is the basic and has 4 colour options ...some only in grand edition ..Like shaded of brown.in brown the names are difficult..one in grand edition other in its lower variant.
- No price difference is only in models like standard zx zx with disc then classic their is no difference in money in color options
- No. but on variants it will differ like disk

- Take activa for good life
- Yes. They come with a Digital speedometer, the headlamps are now LED and rear shock absorber can be adjusted for load.
- Yes
- Can I get those changes done to my old scooter
- In my experience not much happy with front suspension and milage after one year usage. Mileage below 40kml only.
- Jupiter because 12inches wheels provide better offroading along with good suspension sytem
- Buy Bike since scooter will impact you back due to pits and road conditions if any
- Here are the top 10 mileage scooters in India so far. these are average of user reported numbers and not ARAI . ARAI certified numbers are more than this but since driving styles and roads differ the below are average numbers users have claimed.10. Aprilia SR 150 : 35 kmpl9. Aprilia SR 125 : 39 kmpl8. TVS Ntorque 125 : 42 kmpl7. Vespa sxl 125 : 45 kmpl6.vespa vxl 125 : 45 kmpl5. Honda dio : 48kmpl4. TVs Jupiter ; 50kmpl3. Access 125 : 50 kmpl2. Activa 6G : 55 kmpl1. Honda Grazia : 60 kmpl
- I am owing Jupiter right now purchased yesterday. So I calculated the mileage of 52kmpl by riding it in eco mode only without frequent acceleration and de acceleration . If you want comfortable ride with decent mileage and with less maintenance surely go for Jupiter. But If you want only mileage than go for activa if you can ride it under 40 kmph then it will definitely provide you better mileage than Jupiter
- I am owing Jupiter right now purchased yesterday. So I calculated the mileage of 52kmpl by riding it in eco mode only without frequent acceleration and de acceleration . - Access 125
- Access 125 bought in Jun2021. Had self start problem when fuel goes into reserve. Always keep 1 litre of fuel all the time. Two major issues in Access is i)Fuel pump ii) Sensor in startup. Can go for a better version of scooter.
- Jupiter will win this hands down.
- Yes,inbuilt only in some variants like grande, classic,zx edition etc..
- Not available in old, you have to install after perches, provision is give.in new bs6 model usb charging port is given to classic.
- Yes, For BS6 compliant Jupiter you will get it with ZX and Classic variants at front but its not present in Base variant though.
- Try this. Take a very heavy >80Kg pillion on your wego and ride through rough roads for 20+ kms. After that your suspension will be quite smooth. I try this with every new two wheeler and every time it works :)
- Access is good.Even if jupiter's suspension is good,it will not last longer
- Wego has self balancing technology that is present in very high end bikes.. I guess that's the reason they have to make the suspension stiffer....
- You can watch a small video on my channel to understand how the vehicle works after 5 years of usage. you can search for Hydmoto Vlogs in YouTube or you can use this link here : htt******Py0
- Stand, carpet, rear view mirrors, guards etc. are part of the standard accessory list. Optional accessories are handle grip, front luggage box
- Generally they give crash guard and cover.. depends on dealers though. contact your nearest dealership to check their offer
- If you do not mind style, then go for Access 125 ,it is smooth & has longer seat.If you want reliability or durability,go for Activa 5g.If you want comfort & racing,go for Jupiter.
- They say it's a good scooter I have the top model but I prefer activa cause of the refined engine
- Yes, worth buying
- The scooter feels tired after 60-70 kms. Plus the smaller fuel tank would make a nuisance during your trip
- Ok,go for it
- Scooters are not advisable for long ride...
- Sure. Just walk into any nearest showroom of TVS and check with the sales guys for a test ride. They'll help. Happy riding!
- Yes
- Why not just visit the showroom
- We use a Jupiter at home and it is surprisingly smooth until 80kmph. Our Activa 5G and Hero Maestros are pathetic in containing vibrations even at 60kmph.
- Yea, you will have to face the same problem if you want to quickly accelerate the Jupiter. If you really want the comfy ride then check out the scooter which are over 1 lac price range.
- Only activa 125 bs6...or aceess 125
- No,at present.But in future,may be in 2021 it is available
- No
- NO
- Yes ! I have done it by reducing cushion foam by 3 inches
- How can????
- Yes
- No. You have to turn off the engine anr take off the key then only open the set
- Activa in front by switch...Jupiter on left side along with fuel cap .
- No,it's in back left side
- Yes. The showroom folks will quote the on-road price including accessories and will explain you the break-up too.
- Price varies from city to city, but the accessories cost is rs3000 if buy them from the dealers, but if you buy the accessories from outside it will cost you around rs1500.
- Depend showroom
- Jupiter is the best scooter for single rider on poorly paved roads. The suspension is awesome and the rider will not feel fatigue. Even during braking, it handles better than Activa or Access. However, on hilly terrains, riding the vehicle with a pillion will be tough. The mileage drops substantially, if the scooter is ridden with pillion. Otherwise mileage in city will be around 45~50kmpl, while on highways (at ~70kmph) will return 55kmpl.
- Money matter
- ZX Hydra
- Off course its a yes for Jupiter than activa. I have been using Jupiter since 2014. And my next buy for a scooter was also Jupiter zx model in 2018. Honda has been magnetising public to activa on the basis of combi brakes, and looks... But when it comes to engine performance (specially the sound when throttle is up or down in activa), balancing, wheel base, and other hidden features which can only be felt after a full fledged test ride on any kind of conditions TVS JUPITER (REAGRDLESS OF ITS VARIANTS) BEATS HONDA ACTIVA in these respects. And now still if you want to go for activa its your choice.
- Yes jupiter is good. Afterall tvs is indian company and they know indians needs very well. When i was looking for scooty i took test drive of both scooty activa and jupiter. I felt some issue with activa regarding pickup power as my brother was at pillion seat. But when i rode jupiter there was no such problem.
- I agree with U.I also own jupiter. But,as U go at maximum speeds..my scooters engine sound has changed, from when it was new to after using for many months.I drive usually at an avg.of 60 & all the time reach max.speed of 85 .U hve any solution except going at less speed to gain smoother engine sound?.
- Please refer owner's manual
- 5 to 6 colour
- Many colours available
- We've a Jupiter too. The body is quite good and better than the fiber panels of Hero Maestro. The paint quality is way superior to Honda Activa too. However, strongly recommend usage of bumpers around the body, if scratching and denting are a concern.
- Yes
- If you go to the showroom and ask them it would be better .
- Adress proof..2 photos ..6 months bank statement 2 cheques salary certificate(3 months) pan card ...in case of loan only you need to produce cheques and salary certificate. IT payers can get a loan easily.
- Passport size photos (3 or 4 depending on the state), Govt approved Photo ID, Address proof (Driving license would suffice as photo ID and address proof) and Cheque leaf (for payments, of course)
- Marriage certificate, 4 photoes of your wedding in which Panditji should be visible and kankotri or invitation card of your marriage ceremony
- Best seat in all models, chrome finished mirror with windshield, pillion back rest, with a different paint schemes, all just for looks. Rest are same.
- See owner's manual
- Activa
- Activa engine feels a bit rough especially on speeds >65kmph. However, the torque helps to pull the vehicle better with heavier load. Jupiter engine is smooth, sporty and will return better fuel efficiency than Activa, if ridden single.
- May be activa.Bcs I ride jupiter at top speed(85),now it makes much sound than earlier.I hve not riden activa at such speed.
- On what basis are you saying that?
- Access is a good scooter overall but it has a broader and heighten seat, which can be of difficulty for female riders. Fascino looks good but it is not at par with other in the comparison when it comes to performance. TVS Jupiter lacks performance and it is not smooth to drive, so there’s no point to consider it for women riders. Overall, it is better to stick to the market leader Activa15G as it is a complete package, sleeker than Access and Jupiter, studier than Fascino, low on maintenance unlike less popular vehicles, and best to go with as a family vehicle.
- Jupiter or Access are better choices due to better suspension (avoid backache). If weight is a concern, Yamaha Fascino can be considered. However, it may not be as reliable or easily serviceable as Jupiter and spare prices are expensive. Plasticfiber body panels are cheaper in quality too, in a Fascino.
- Jupiter is value for money 2018 model great features like front disk break rear Combo break large space in inside dikky and comfortable sit as well as great mileage around city 50-55 . Activa 5g some cosmetic changes. passino is stylish & light weight scooty average 40-45 in city. Access is good but not best for this price segment. my recommend Jupiter latest model.
- Jupiter zx.Bcs it gives good mileage & performance & engine smoothness is bettter.Even if N torq has full digital meter its price is high & mileage is less & sound is weird,& I don't even think its much stylish.
- Nitorq for tft display bike like driving ergonomics for enthusiastic commuters ...Jupiter is for people who needs more mileage to carry luggage ..both are men friendly.!!
- If you want mileage then you have to go with Jupiter and you buying for better features and speed then go with ntorq
- Tvs jupiter have many advantage: 1.External fuel fill. Don’t have to open the seat and display the contents. 2.Jupiter demands less effort to1put the vehicle on centre stand as compared to other scooty. 3.Telescopic shocks of Jupiter is offers more1superior shock absorbing ability than Activa’s spring loaded hydraulic. The best part is the Telescopic1shocks are serviceable, you could replace the spring, pour some oil and boost it up.
