I have bs4 version non abs model .the bike is good .parts are very reliable .decent mileage . nice braking .seat comfort is not so good I get pain in my back very soon . vibration increases after 90 kmph .
Braking performance is not good above 70 KPH, it should be better in this respect. I have faced bad rare braking experience after 700 Kms of riding, and just repaired it from Service centre. Rare brake is bouncing back and found metalic sound while pressing hard, like brake is fouling with some metal body. Most disappointing thing is that lot of TVS Apache 200 4v owner faced problem like me in wrong Gear indicator. It is a very specific problem in this machine, which may cause accident, and dangerous for rider. TVs service point also acknowledge about the Gera indicator and GPS sensing problem. I have already discussed with other owner was present in the service center, he also acknowledged the same issue. This is my second service, and TVs service point informed me that though they have repaired the problem for now, but in near future I may face the same problem. What I understand from this is - it is an inherent problem or common manufacturing defect of the model, which is very very risky because for my case I have after switch off my two wheeler after make it neutral, after a while again when I self start it, instantly digital instrument console showing it on Second Gear mode, if anytime accidentally I release the Clutch unaware of looking the colsole, Machine may rush-off of move forward from my hand & control, and result is an accident. Thus TVs is selling a defect Two_Wheeler, they know very well about their problem, because I just talk today with some of their GM, communicate via phone with the help of Service Manager of the my TVs service center, in Kolkata. Customer should move to the consumer forum regarding the problem. TVs is cheating customer
I bought this Bike for the College Purpose using it for 2 years, And Really 101% satisfied with the bike. The initial acceleration of the Bike is Just Awesome... seats are also very comfortable for the driver as well as for the Pillion🤟🏻 Engine is very Smooth and Refined 20.5 PS of power is enough... the styling of the bike is also awesome.. you can Get to the highways as well as in city any time... riding position is also Good... maintenance cost is Low ... but too much vibration at High speed... if you go 110+ you"ll definitely feel the vibrations in the handle and Foot rests.... It could get LEDs but Halogen is sufficient at night.... missing the USD Forks .... getting mileage of 38-40 kmpl....
I have purchased the bike on 15th october 2018 after researching about a month i watched more than 50 videos including mileage test,braking, handling and suspension of popular youtuber like motorbeam, motoroctane, powerdrift, dino"s vault and a non-popular faces. When i was researching i rode gixxer and gixxer sf,hornet,ns 200,fz2.0,fz25,hero extreme 200r apache 160 4v and apache 200 4v out of all bikes i like apache 200 as it checks all boxes and is a fully packed bike in its segment. I think it is the best bike in it"s segment after duke 200.PROS-Best in class 200cc bike..High speed stability no vibration found on speed upto 125kmph.Superb handling easy cornering Fully faired all digital console Best street naked look Comes with ART-slipper clutch and boy Clutch feel is very light.Braking is decent...Stops in 0-60kmph in just 2.9 sec.Gearshift is smooth.Throttle is amazing.CONS- Minor cons like lack of side stand indicator.Lack of 6th gear it feels while riding on highways.Cold start problem due to single spark plug.Headlight could be led for the price..Only major issue faced in a month is bike starting issue in cold each time i have to apply choke to start the bike every morning.Overall-4.6/5Best in its price.
First I like to buy pulsar ns bcoz it"s look more handsome and epic... But it cost huge, so I compared more bikes... I test the apache I"m pretty excited, bcoz it"s midrange performance is absolutely terrific... And it price was so affordable for budget persons and offers a list of features like dual channel ABS, fuel injection, LED drl, trip metre, topspeed recorder, mad finish colour scheme, LED tail lamps, first in segment sliper assist clutch....omg!!! 😳... And also it"s consumes some cons like.... 😔inefficient powerdelivery in topspeed... Overall it"s an best value for money and it"s provide 45kmpl milege... Not bad... 😀

- I'm using my Matte Black Apache 200 for last 3 years and can say that the high bass silencer sound is just awesome and it's same for last 3 years. Riding is as smooth as 3 years ago. Of course it vary from person to person and their usage style. The white light and the hud design of the cluster is best of all the bikes in this segment. So, in a nutshell, I am not going to sell my matte black Apache 200 until Apache is not releasing the new full matte black version.
- If you have a budget of upto 3 lakhs then you can go with Royal Enfield or jawa for comfort and dominor 400 or dominor 250, duke 200 or duke 250 or gixxer sf 250. Well apache is also a good option but if you have a good budget then there are some more bikes to look for. You can buy Royal Enfield Thunderbird because it's good for cruising and is very comfortable and it'll not cause you any problem in the city even.

- 90 to 105 kph is the practical cruising speed of RTR 200 4v. Munching kilometres depends highly on riders endurance. I personally take a quick break for 10 mins at around 200 kms.
- I had done around 200 kms non stop. The seat is a little bit hard. So, I had to take a break. There were no problems with engine temperature.

- Now a days all the manufactures are ommiting kick starter in the bikes of 200CC nd above. So this can't be big issue.The big issue is that RTR 200 has cold start problem across its all varients.Now your question i don't think it will cause any problem while starting your bike after a month coz i have done this. Actually i was out from my city for 2.5 months nd when i came back i started my bike after applying choke.It took 3-4 attempts but later it started nd i kept it started for 2-3 minutes. Don't rev your bike if you are starting your bike after a while.Apply gentle throttle nd keep it start for 2-3 minutes. Then take it for a ride.

- Of Course TVS Apache RTR 200 4v race edition with ABS is better option for the reasons :-1.Styling: It looks better and appeals to a major audience in comparison to Avenger street 220 which is designed as a cruiser and only those people will admire it who are fond of cruisers and on other hand TVS Apache RTR 200 will get more attention because of it's styling it is sporty and has it's own distinctive Character2.Performance: in performance front too TVS Apache RTR 200 4v is clear winner because it's engine is more modern and punchy compared to avenger's detuned engine which is derived from pulsar 220 and it's power figures are also lowered so you will miss on both acceleration and top end if you get avenger street 220.3.Vibrations: here also Apache Wins hands down because it has 4 valves and a good balancer shaft and a double cradle frame which is stiff enough and unlike older Apaches RTR 200 is a totally different bike in terms of vibrations which are merely present on top end and than also they are very minor vibes on the other hand bajaj has done nothing serious to reduce vibrations on Avenger street 220 so it will vibrate nore than Apache but it will not vibrate more than pulsars and older apaches (160 and 180).4.handling: here i don't think i have to explain you anything as you know a sporty naked bike's handling is way better than that of a cruiser but then also i would like to add some more info about RTR's handling, i have ridden both RTR 200 and Duke 250 and in my opinion RTR's handling is even better than that of duke's even it is marginally better but it is so avenger is no match here because TVS Apache RTR 200 4v race ediotion gets a very good chassis which is double cradle frame and it has amazing set of suspensions to support it's handling Apache has KYB telescopic forks up front (and they look gorgeous too because of golden paint) and it has raised clip on handlebars and i assume that you know that clip on handlebars are best for cornering and for sporty riding in general all that makes apache a super handler.5.Comfort: it is the area where avenger rules over any other bike in the segment it has segment leading comfort because of its heavily cushioned seats and very soft suspension setup and a very relaxed and upright riding posture due to raised up handlebars on the other hand apaches riding comfort is not bad but it is simply no match for avenger, Apache's seat is also comfortable and riding posture is sporty but comfortable at same time and suspension setup is also good for indian roads but if you want comfort avenger is the bike which is better.6.refinement and exhaust note: you will fall in love with Apache rtr 200 if you will listen it's exhaust note it is best sounding single cylinder bike in my opinion its exhaust is very bass heavy and throaty and after warm up it sounds like a parallel twin engine it so much refined engine that you won't believe that it is a TVS bike and on the other hand avenger has no such advantages upon its rival here it is good though but RTR is better bike here in terms of exhaust note and refinement.7.features: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Race Edition 2.0 is a feature rich bike you get an ooption of Fi and you get a option of ABS on the other hand Avenger does not have any Fi option but it also has ABS but then also TVS's bike wins here because Apache has Dual Channel ABS (which is functional on both front disc and rear disc) whereas avenger have only single channel ABS (it is functional only on front disc) and TVS apache RTR also get many features which are not present even on the other bikes of the segment like Slipper Clutch and its Console has so much information like gear position indicator and lap timer, top speed recorder and 0 to 60 acceleration timer and many other functions which are high tech.and a special point also.Suitability for shorter riders: as i can see by your choice of bikes i am assuming you want a bike which is suitable for shorter riders and in that aspect avenger is better because it has low saddle height but trust me (as i am a 5 foot 5 inch guy) you will find TVS Apache RTR a bit uneasy initially but after some days you will get habitual of it and you will be very comfortable after some days trust me as i find it very suitable for me and it is a better bike for college guys.

If you want to use your bike say for 12-14 years then you have to take care of your bike, change oil regularly, service your bike at given time, don't ride harsh, aviod reving your bike, change gears properly, use clutch sincerely.Go with the ABS model...RTR 200 4V rc 2.0 carb.ABS.

- You can take it but i will not recommend you to do...you can take the bike after your first service upto 150km. Don't rev your bike...Maintain the speed upto 50kmph before first nd second service. Change the gear in appropriate manner. - Good question dude..variants mean different form of a same thing.eg.bike with abs and with out...car with central lock and without.standard may be a varient upon which some features added...eg.. standard bike will have carberatur ..another varient fuel injection(see other answers)..ABS us antilock braking system which makes braking power distributed to wheels so that wheels don't get locked ..rear wheel Its a safety measure.. seen in bikes above 200cc.

Mileage will come around 32km and eventually after first few services it will be more better .And coming to the performance you couldn't notice until 3rd service but later on you will feel like you are on the track and you are on the race.2.0 is worth buying.Thank you.
- I am using apache RTR 160 hyper edge since 2009. I have done around 1.35 lacs kilometers on it... and still it is performing very well.. no change in sound still my bike is stock.... I put my bike for service at every 2500-2700kms....
- Both the varaients are equally good but carburettor is easy to repair and repair centres are easily available for the carburettor version as compared to fi varaient.
- Take the test drive of both the variants and i am sure u will be happy with carb and abs option as the carb variant gives that apache feel when you launch it from stand still. Believe me fueling on carb variant is spot on and u will not miss fi at all. Cheers
- Go for ABS. Carb version produces raw power which will be a major missing in Fi. Also, Fi is new to TVS, there might be a lot of issues

- Hey Rahul, engine refinement of apache rtr 200 4v race edition 2.0 is definitely of the higher end. TVS has minimized vibrations so well that they are barely felt. The midsegment performance, i.e, b/w 0 to 60km/hr is definitely better in the rtr, it offers a great punch, But its top end performance is not as good as NS 200. So, for a daily commute, the rtr is a better one to be considered, plus it offers great looks that are not so commonly seen ion the roads.
- Definitely Apache 200 4V is best in class for daily commute. In terms of refinement rtr 200 has more refined carburettor engine then NS 200.

- See i had taken the test ride of both, with fz 25 i found it powerful but boring. The suspension was tuned towards comfort. But apache was very fun to ride with good low to mid range. Fz 25 does have advantage of torque and legendry yamaha refinement but believe me apache is no slouch in refinement and top of that it comes with so much options with pirelli tyres abs and fi. Go for apache with Abs and pirelli tyres u wont regret. Thanks
- Only if Yamaha hadn't suddenly decided to make all it's bikes fuel efficient, Fz25 would have turned out to be good. 250cc and the power is almost the same as Apache 200. Moreover the suspension is so soft that it was never meant to handle extreme riding

- You can install ABS in bikes using 3rd party. But indian manufacturers do not share their technology with 3rd party.some 3rd party companies like bosh install ABS in others countries coz they have proper setup for abs installation. Abs installation is very precise thing and you need a proper setup for that.So i will not recommend you to install abs in bikes using 3rd party services. - As others have mentioned, you may be able to. But it is highly recommended not to get aftermarket ABS. It is not light installing some colour lights on your bike. It is a matter of life or death. ABS is such an intricated technology and no one other than the manufacturer can guarantee you that perfection.

- Yes there is starting problem in the bike..after 2nd service the problem is still there everyday i have to try three or four times to start the bike but you can start the bike without applying choke. But in winters every morning i have to give choke and then start the bike.

- My first priority was safety..So I went with abs version. based on the driving style and conditions mileage will vary from as low as 32 to as high as 44. I get around 35 and I drive a lot within city. during run in period I got 43 kmpl . To get such mileage you need run at < 5000rpm. I have not heard anyone using ethanol version. mileage on fi version is 2-3 km more than carb version.
- If i were you i will give priority to safety and go with carb.varient with ABS.I drive a lot in city so i get 30-34kmpl of mileage with carb.varient. I have seen lot of youtube videos before making my decision and i will say there is not much difference in terms of mileage between fi and carburettor varient. You can expect diff.of 2-3kmpl. So don't hesitate go for carburettor with ABS.
- Well, Supreme court ruling. Bikes above 125cc must have ABS. There's that. And i've been riding the ABS version for a 1000km and the mileage has been a constant 40kmpl even after the first service.
- All the varients of rtr 200 4v comes with ART SLIPPER Clutch. As of now TVS did'nt launched the ABS version with FI varient. Abs is only available with carburettor version. I think ABS with carburettor version should be a smart choice rather than FI version without ABS as you will not notice much difference between FI and carburettor version.
- Slipper clutch with the ABS can make all the difference in the world. Downshifting has never been easier and filled with more confidence than this. Fi variant gives an advantage of mileage upto 2-3km extra and a 0.5 PS horsepower but ABS is really helpful.

- I am 5ft 8inch and i am quite comfortable with it. Achieved 126kmph on NH19 and i felt low vibrations past 115 on the foot pecks.

- For a student and young rider i would suggest to get a bike with dual channel ABS which comes with Apache 200 4v and R15 the NS200 and RS200 offers single channel ABS operational at front and only the speed sensor at the rear wheel.

- This bike is good using it for 8months done 8600kms. Did a highway ride of total 450 km and to be honest it is good. The stability and road grips at high speed is good. In city the bike is good at short pick ups. In 200cc segment with dual channel abs and slipper clutch i think you should go for this bike. Other bikes like NS 200 and RS 200 can give you better top speed. But cannot provide dual channel abs and slipper clutch.

From my personal experience I'd say the more you ride and get to know your motorcycle the more you'll start achieving near perfection or less.

- My height is also same 5.4 feet and i ride flawlessly. My daily commute is about 10-12kms nd i feel no difficulty in handling nd other things. This bike suits short riders. If you are anywhere around 5.8- 6 then you will find some difficulty while riding.Go ahead take a test ride of the bike.

- Apache height is 800 mm plus. I am 5.4 and just tip toe. It’s also not adjustable. You might find it difficult to control. You can try to get your seat shaved off. Ride safe, Be safe
- Tvs Apache rtr 200 4V comes pre installed with tvs remora tyres front and rear. TVS provides you options to choose for Pirelli's as well but i think remora is enough for daily ride and Pirelli's is good for track day events.As per my daily ride of 50kms i did'nt felt any issue of road grip.Tyres provides a good grip on roads but if want to use it in rainy day then it can be little slippery.But for daily commuting TVS remora tyres will be great.
- No never on hard Roads but it will slips in mud or any sand is there it will slip.... Not only apache bikes any bike will in those condition..... So if u r looking for high speed then go for super bike...... For road grip and normal driving till 130kmph its good grip
- Personally i would say there is no slipping at curves untill and unless there is sand or gravels. But personal experience of the bike is very good.
- As you are confused between rtr 200 4v and fz25 abs i will suggest you to go with rtr as you have mentioned 40km of mixed ride,it delivers best in off-road as well as it has good suspension.mileage you can expect 30-35kmpl.As you are 5.4" you will not face any issues while riding. For cornering it is best in segment. Take a test ride on bad roads of both the bikes you will understand the difference.
- I use RTR 200 race edition with ABS & slipper clutch and daily commute 30 kms in traffic. For Bangalore city ride this is best. Apply brake any where any time, it works amazingly. Suspension is better than any other bike I have used (RE).

- NS200 is the best among these for highways. Fz25 and RTR 200 perform absolutely well in the city. KTM, as you know is quite overpowered

The bike's quality of material is way above Bajaj or any other rivals. Value for Money Indian Brand for Race freaks. just power is less then NS200 so top speed or 0-60kmph will be lesser. but no complaint whatsoever.
- I once did a 380+ km journey from Bangalore to Kerala. The sound it makes once you hit 138kmph is an absolute pleasure to listen. Moreover, towards the end of the journey, it was filled with ghat roads and this bike had no problem maneuvering. Mileage was around 36kmpl even after constant revving at 110-120kmph. In my opinion, there can never be a better 200cc segment bike than this one

- In my opinion rtr 200 is more secure and safe then ns 200 it has Dual channel abs along with RLP protection.Initial pick-up of rtr is best in class in its segment and it will blow ns 200 anytime in city ride...but in highways ns 200 will outperform rtr 200 as it has 6th gear.
- In terms of pickup, the RTR 200 4V is better and if u want safety, the NS200 is better. Take a test ride of both the bikes and decide which one is better according to you.

- If rtr 200 is powerful 160 4v is raw with cornering ability suprtmoto mode close to the track version....so in road highway users can opt for 200 city commuters 160..pillion comfort more in 200 ..good lights in 200..so see your need and budget...but both will excite you.
- Rtr 200 4v is preferable in any case like the safety, features, power, look and so on. If you want to buy a 160 4v for daily commute, sad to say it is not a good choice. Though the ARAI tests achieved 60 km mileage range for 160 4v it does not get the same on the roads. I tested both my rtr 160 4v and 2004v and both have approximately same mileage. Then why do you need to compromise the 200 4v for the 160 4v???
- For daily basis of mileage is an issue i will suggest 160 4v but if you want safety features i will suggest you go for the 200 4v ABS variant. Features i like in 200 4V ABS as i own it:1). Slipper clutch2). Dual channel ABS3). The exhaust noteThese features are missing in 160 4V but rumours are there that TVS is going to update their 160 4V and i think they will single channel ABS.
- Put on high heeled riding boots with inner sole ..sit in the mounted bike in showroom adjust your sitting posture shoulders and elbows lean little forwards foot on pegs in the gear lever side must be kept backwards so as to rest on the base of toe@@@!!.After than you can master in controlling the bike in tarred ground ..initially in the road avoid traffic. use proper and quality riding gears.Good luck dude.

- Performance of the bike is buttery smooth it goes 120kmph without any hesitation no vibration felt upto 120kmph.Milegea-I'm getting a mileage of 32kmpl in city and 35kmpl in highway after my first service.Fi vs carburetor- I will suggest you to go with carburetor model as there is not much difference between carburettor and fi version...and abs is only available in carburettor version.
- Mileage is around 38 to 40 performance is slightly better in the fi version if you are living in a city go for the fi version carburetor version not advised

- Yes it requires choke in cold start I have an expensive solution change your oil with shell advance full synthetic 10w40 which costs around 800 rupees a litre but you will have to buy 2 litre because RTR requires 1200 ml of oil.this will solve your starting problem to an extent and the ride quality will improve by 40 % gear shift will become real easy and smooth and pick up would improve and you can rev the RTR as much as you want and the drain period is around 6000 km twice the normal oil which needs to be changed at 3000 km try this and let me know!!!!!
- I dont have any issue till date.I just put it in the main stand, switch off the oil flow at night. In the morning i switch on the oil flow and then start it with pressing the self start button. The first one doest work, but the second press always works.Please note: While fired up please keep it on for 2mins until it reaches initial rpm of (1.2) which is standard. If your initial rpm is below that point you will have to use choke while starting in the morning.
- I don't feel any major issues regarding cold start...but sometimes i face some problem at mrng i have to apply choke every day in mrng...this is common in all apache 200..no need to worry
- It would depend on your maintainance of bike if you would feel vibration at higher level then service your bike reaveling about vibrations I would prefer it could be because of loosening of nuts and bolts above that as I am owner of bike which crossed 20,000 kms never felt about vibrations at some extent it is OK while compared to other 200 CC engine

- Hi, im 5\'11\' and have apache 200 since 2016. Bought in first week of launch. It has been fabulous bike to ride and good seat cushion. Good hold on road and brakes too provide good response. Only drawback i observed when i rode it from rudrapur to delhi (240km) in one day, i felt lot of pain in my knees due to foot rest position. I rode it again in Jan this year for 140km in one day, then also same problem observed due to foot rest. You can buy it if your drives don't involve long distances. *Additional - i have driven fazer 150 for 350km in 2 days trip, but there was no stress on body at all. Only drawback in fazer150 was its smaller engine.
- I am 5'8" and i believe upto 6' there should not be any issue. What i advise is you first take a test drive based on your own experience take your decision. If i talk but the seat cusioning then i can guaranteed that tvs did a very good job, rider seat is very comfortable for long drive but not the rear one.
- Hey Apurva, even I am 6ft 2in tall and I can ride my bike absolutely comfortably. Recently I have done a 140 km long trip, and I am really happy with the way my bike performed, both in terms of power delivery and comfort.

- First off, good choice of 200cc bike , and a very nice question too :)Well here are a few points to be noted about Carb and FI variants. Carb. :1. Easy maintenance. Any mechanic can easily assist you in case of emergency. 2. In case of failure, the carburettor can be easily replaced Fuel injection:1 .Linear power delivery. No sudden acceleration. 2 . Cold start is not a problem, a little thumb power can get the vehicle running in no time, even in coldest of days 3. In case of failure, the system has to be completely replaced, which is going to cost a lot, comparatively. 4. Better mileage, since the amount of fuel delivered to the system is controlled and monitored. I guess the above points might assist you in making the decision. Personally, I own the carburetted version, because I find it more engaging and fun to ride around. I suggest you test ride both the variants and then make your decision. Happy riding.
- You will not notice much difference between fi and carburettor. Fi provides very smooth performance while carburettor produce RAW. fi will get slightly more mileage as compared to carb varient.

- Blindly go for apache 200. After doing many test drives and research , my mind stopped at apache 200 only. I daily travel 60km (30+30) in which 60% of my travel covered by smooth highway and rest 40% covered by very dense traffic and poor roads. But never experienced any difficulty neither on highway nor on poor roads and extremely dense traffic. Best thing is u never feel vibration even at 130kmph! Rider seat is very comfortable. Pickup is too good! Currently i am getting the mileage of 41kmpl (because of my long route keeping speed max upto 90), in shorter route mileage may fall down.
- If you want an overall package xblade is the one and if you are not worried about petrol average rtr 200 is the choice KTM Duke is not a daily commuters bike it's a sports bike you won't enjoy it driving slow so my bet is on xblade because it has everything I think you want I HOPE !!!!!!!
- Apache 200 4V 2.0 is much better. Have tried all the bikes even I had the confusion. X-blade has a small engine and Duke has a even smaller engine. Blindly go for apache.

- Fuel injection is a computerised fuel supply system where computer controlled fuel supply system supplies fuel to combustion chamber. It’s efficient and effective as it’s not affected by altitude and proper amount of fuel is being supplied at all time resulting in creation of linear power and smooth riding.
- In fuel injection system petrol supply direct to the engine but don't go for this bz there are no reserv system in this segment. 2ltr petrol you have to store in tank. after that your main petrol will work. and in case that 2 ltr petrol finished then you have to go service center.
- Fuel injection fuel is supplied to engine cylinder with the help of fuel injectors, air:fuel ratio is monitored by separate electronic module which gives precision in combustion process.In case of carburetor system air & fuel ratio is adjusted manually.
- First of all I would like to tell you that there is lot of difference in 200cc and 300cc so firstly please set your specific target then next topic comes that you need a bike for daily commutes and you are thinking about apache 200 which is not best commuter in it's segment because of slightly forward leaning posture and nature of deliver power I will suggest you FZ25 because it is the best commuter bike in it's segment and it is more comfortable and more fuel efficient bike and if you wish for sporty bike which can let you some commute also just like duke 200 then apache makes sense in other words apache makes a value for money alternative for duke 200 but when it comes to commuting then there is only one best commuter in entire 200 to 300 cc class and that is none other than the FZ25.
- For daily commuter go for bike which have average and power both on parallel. My recommendations will be based on your budget .For starting 200cc segment Pulsar ns200 or RTR race edition will be better and will suit your pocket too.If you have weights on your budget you can go for Pulsar Rs200 or ktm Duke..

- Yes absolutely..I.had recently completed a 1700 kms ride. There is no issues with the engine such as overheating, etc. The only thing as a con is it vibrates a lot which will gradually tire you in the long runs
- As Apache RTR is 200 cc segment you can drive or take loads for long rides as it's a sport tourer type segment .But you need to take bit haults as according to my experience I have some wrist problems for continuous above 100 km drives .for your question it's a yes.

- If you’re track guy then buy EFI with Pirelli tyres. On every day riding it’s good, feels light and brings whole lot of confidence to cut through the traffic. Catches 100KMPH with ease. Have done 130KMPH in my RTR 200 ABS Carb, EFI should go little further. Pick up is quick but demands quick shifting of gear, but it’s so ease with Slipper Clutch. Ride both Carb and ABS and decide. If you’re going to ride it everyday then consider ABS, it’s a must have safety feature. As Indian animal owners thinks grass grows on the road, ABS brings extra layer of safety.
- Hey Rana_Mondal_1, this a semi sporty bike you can also use it for touring and racing porous. i have used it for long touring mainly. this is comfortable and stable for smooth and rough roads. but not soo comfortable for off road.

- Having the A-RT slipper clutch, RTR don't need abs... really.... they won't let you fall by locking the disc... Abs in RTR is used only for riding in wet regions.... so if you looking for some more power and mileage, choose the FI variant.... Otherwise took the abs as standard
- Go for dual ABS. there would not be any difference in the mileage between carburetor and FI. little bit performance figures diff. but that too very minimal.. only problem with carburetor is during cold season you have to use choke once in a day in the morning for starting purpose. thats it .. else there is no problem at all. i own a 200 rtr dual channel abs for 7 months now. and dual channel abs is more useful and practical than FI. one has to have better braking specially with increasing traffic in the city

- Really easy to explain and not only used in super bikes.It is very useful in high speed when you want to downshift and use engine braking.For example, when you downshift from 4 to 3, due to difference in engine rpm,the rear tyres might slip espicially when you dont do rev matching.At that time the clutch will slip by itself to match engine speed and thus eliminate wheel spin.If you like racing and downshifting very much, it will be very useful for you but if not, not that very important.

- So far I havent heard of any such news from TVS. I own a tvs 150, 200 and 310. A TVS enthusiast i have not heard of anything like that. but with BSVI going to come shortly, you can expect that to happen within the next 1 year time from now.

- If you are racing enthusiast, go for Apache 200 4v. If you want a nice looking fully faired bike, Gixxer SF is the one. It has got a decent power which is good enough for city as well as highway rides. Apache is truly race machine plus now it has got dual channel ABS which is extremely helpful in case of panic braking. Gixxer SF has also got an ABS but that is single channel but it is quite effective as well. So it depends on your preference. Hope it helps.

- As a owner of rtr 200 4v i am telling you why i chose rtr 200 over fz 25 and then i will tell you why you should opt for fz 25 so let's start with rtr's pros over fz's1.Exhaust note: exhaust note of both the bikes are music to the ear of a rider but in my personal opinion I think RTR's exhaust note is likely superior to that of FZ's 20 exhaust note2. handling characteristics: handling of bobber bikes is so good but RTR's handlingis slightly superior to that of FZ's handling due to the sporty nature of the bike3. suitability: as a short rider I prefer RTR's riding dynamics more than FZS because RTR footpegs is slightly closer to the seat than that of FZS foot pegs so it becomes specially comfortable for short riders while FZ is neutral to the the all size of riders4 pricing: as you know that RTR is is slightly cheaper than FZ and it fulfills my needs also so I preferred RTR over FZnow the points in which which FZ is ahead of RTR1. there is no replacement for displacement: yes it is true because when you will write FZ it will surely feel that it is 250 cc bike and when you will ride RTR then it will give feel of 200 cc bike that exactly it is so if you need more torquey engine more usable power than FZ is quite ahead2: engine refinement: both the bikes are very refined with negligible vibrations but when you're considering specifically for the refinement of the engine then Yamaha is is slightly ahead of TVS and this improves the fuel economy of the FZ i own Apache so I know that its mileage is slightly less than that of every despite of having a smaller engine and slightly less power it gives less mileage so if you love mileage FZ25 should be your pick3: suitability: as I have mentioned earlier that RTR is specially made for shorter riders and it doesn't fits well with the medium-sized rider and the taller riders but it is not the case with the FZ which suits well with all sizes of riders so if you are a rider on taller side FZ should be your pick4. value for money: in spite of RTR being cheaper it is the FZ that is more value for money because it gets bigger engine better mileage and it gets Fi and abs together in that price which is not the case with the RTR rs people because it's a vs model doesn't have Fi so you can not call it value for moneyfinal verdict: both the bikes are very good you cannot go wrong with either of the bikes now it boils down to your personal preference and some subjective opinion that which bike looks more more pleasing to you and which brand is your favourite and the main point is here that what is your budget thanks
- Both bikes come with 5 gears. engine capacity is different though. I haven’t ridden FZ25. But FZ25 doesn’t comes with ABS and from the safety point of view RTR ABS is good. But few issues with RTR is its stock headlamp doesn’t have enough power for night view, though high beam has enough to see. It comes with Carb only with ABS. Carb seems to feel outdated in this 21st century. On the pros side, it has beautiful weight distribution, the bike feel perfectly balanced to manoeuvre in city traffic, catches 100kmph so sweetly and runs butter smooth. I’ve done 130kmph in my RTR 200 ABS. Instrument cluster has whole lot of information. You don’t need to watch wrist watch or take out your smartphone when you’re late for the office and stucked in the traffic. Clutch feels light (my friend who has Avenger Street 220 said he has got the feel and meaning of Slipper Clutch after riding my machine). FZ25 has refined engine with EFI. But it has ordinary instrument cluster, doesn’t comes with ABS. Bottom line: I would suggest you to wait till 2019 April, you’ll get lot of options to choose from. You’ll get all bikes with ABS and FI will also come in many bikes. Or else EFI will make its way in all bikes from 2020 to comply the BS6 norms. 2019 May also marks the production of BS6 engines from many brands. And if you can’t wait to rev the engine then you should buy RTR ABS as safely is more important than the refinement of EFI (RE Classic 350 the best selling motorcycle of the country still comes CV Carburettor, this has helped me to get my set of wheels). When i was researching i rode gixxer and gixxer sf,hornet,ns 200,fz2.0,fz25,hero extreme 200r apache 160 4v and apache 200 4v out of all bikes i like apache 200 as it checks all boxes and is a fully packed bike in its segment. I think it is the best bike in it"s segment after duke 200.PROS-Best in class 200cc bike..High speed stability no vibration found on speed upto 125kmph.Superb handling easy cornering Fully faired all digital console Best street naked look Comes with ART-slipper clutch and boy Clutch feel is very light.Braking is decent...Stops in 0-60kmph in just 2.9 sec.Gearshift is smooth.Throttle is amazing.CONS- Minor cons like lack of side stand indicator.Lack of 6th gear it feels while riding on highways.Cold start problem due to single spark plug.Headlight could be led for the price..Only major issue faced in a month is bike starting issue in cold each time i have to apply choke to start the bike every morning.Overall-4.6/5Best in its segment.

- No, it is the major drawback in this bike. You can only have abs or fi. I think Tvs has to think about it. Another drawback is Fi variant is available only in white color. Otherwise there is no doubt in the comfort and performance . It is marvellous!
