Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Gixxer 250

Q. What would be the smooth cruising speed of the suzuki Gixxer 250's ?
  • The motor feels strong at slow speeds and can carry speeds as low as 30-35kmph in 5th gear. In fact, the moment you cross 60kmph, you can just stick it into 6th gear with zero protests from the engine. The smooth power delivery also ensures that the SF 250 can pull from these speeds the moment you open the throttle without the need for downshifts. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
  • Hello, I have purchased the sf 250 everything seems fine but I have an isuue and that is,where can I find a crash cage for the sf 250.?
Q. I will be buying my first ever bike and I'm a naked bike sorta person...which bike would you suggest mt15 or gixxer 250?
  • Selecting between Yamaha MT 15 and Suzuki Gixxer 250 would depend on certain factors such as your budget, preference of the brand, service availability, features required, performance, etc. The Yamaha MT 15 BS6 is more than just the R15 v3 sans fairing. The naked looks sharp is light and can be a hoot to commute. However, the compact riding posture might be a bit too tight for large riders. What is also disheartening is the poor switchgear and build quality as well as the lack of dual-channel ABS. Mt-15 will certainly leave a strong impression, engine transmission, for one, really speaks to your heart like nothing else. It makes every commute an event and that's exactly what you want from a streetfighter. On the other hand, Suzuki Gixxer 250 does offer a peppy engine with likable performance along with comfortable ride quality in the city and on the highway and a decent amount of features. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
Q. Does SF 250 comes with tool kit ?
  • Yes, the Suzuki SF 250 comes equipped with a standard tool kit that can be found under the seat. For more details, you may refer to the user manual of your bike.

Q. Which one is best in Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Yamaha FZ 25?
  • If you compare the price, I do not feel Gixxer to be better than FZ 25. If any day I would be looking for a bike of Gixxers price I would go for a Dominar 400 or a KTM 250 DUKE(slightly higher price than Gixxer) or a Himalayan. Gixxer should have been priced to compete with FZ 25. We need to compare between bikes of same rates. Gixxer doesn't offer so much more than FZ 25 to be priced so high according to me. Rest it depends on the buyer
  • Yamaha FZ 25 is definitely superior bike . Blue core engine is an added feather in the cap. Yamaha has more service centers compared to Suzuki. Provided it is low maintenance bike...
  • But I guess Gixxer is worth the mny Im talking abt the naked version it offers you good tyres so better road grip and also good instrument cluster which is vital part of a sporty two wheeler.

Q. Which bike has a better break power, Dominar 250 or Gixxer 250?
  • Both Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Bajaj Dominar 250 are good bike. However, the baby Dominar is the one that offers better braking performance between the two. In our tests, the Dominar 400 was a ferocious braker. It’s got the smaller 300mm front disc with a radial caliper and a 230mm rear disc. But surprisingly, even with all its weight, it managed incredibly short braking distances -- just 31.53 metres from 80kmph to a standstill and 18.50 metres from 60kmph. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. You may click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
