Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Meteor 350

Q. What is the difference between Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Fireball and Supernova?
  • Well, all the variants are having the same engine and performance the only difference one will spot is in the appearance. Here Fireball is the first variant, this is the most basic variant of the lot, and thanks to its basic equipment levels, it bears the closest resemblance to the erstwhile Thunderbird X 350. Points worth noting here are that the alloys are a plain black design, the tank logo is a sticker, the exhaust is blacked out, and there is no backrest. The mid-range variant is called Stellar, and it gets a chrome-finished exhaust system, a rear backrest, and 3D tank logos. However, it still has to make do with the all-black alloy wheels. On the top is Supernova variant that looks like a pukka tourer straight from the showroom, not least thanks to its large front screen. In addition to this, it also gets smart-looking diamond-cut alloy wheels, dual-tone paint schemes, and contrasting seats.

Its a comfortable city bike and a good cruising bike. The controls are quite good with good balancing.Seating posture: very well designed. With comfort to the hands and no stress on back and shouldersspeed: good pick up for cities and lovely cruising for highways. Not meant for off roading. The tyres are heavy enough to handle offroading but the body is not built for it.Mileage: 30 kmpl average which is not bad for 350 cc.Sound: it has a very polished sound, Not the heavy burst like the bullet or classic but has some burst yet polished, Making it a much better version for city rides.Suspension: the suspension has some problem. It is very hard.

Great motorcycle by royal enfield.I am an owner of this bike who has ridden it for around 1000km and i have to say great work and effort has been done by the royal enfield with the engine refinement, Vibrations, Breaking, Comfort. The tripper on my bike doesn't work.It gets connected just at the very beginning and gives me the direction at that time but after that the directions don't change and i have to stop my bike just to see a different direction on it.This thing pisses me off.But the bike is superb overall.

Perfect value for money. No regret of buying such a wonderful machine.Show stopper in the road while riding this black beauty.Down sides :1.Quality of rear view mirror ( better to have rectangle mirror to cover much scene from behind.I have fixed mirror from bajaj avenger which gives more confident and coverage while on road.)2.No use of navigator, It drains your mobile batter power fast ( its just an ornamental digital clock )3.Poor ergonomics in positioning of horn and the day flash switch.

The bike is made for driver comfort and pleasure. It sitting position is really comfortable, And has the power for quick overtakes. It's very versatile and really comes into its own in twisty and curvy mountainous roads, With aggressive turn ins.The thump is pure music. The vibration can be felt but never annoying. The bike is very comfortable around 90 kmph. But can cruise around 110 easily too.It has a top speed of 120kmph.The touring seat customisation also aids well in riding comfort.

Pros : refined and smooth, Nice weight management, Ultra comfortable for rider at cruising speed of 90-95, Great road presence, Decent thump with urban touch.Cons : pillion seat is not comfortable and cramped, Quality of tank cap and switches could have been better, Breaking is not top notch specially in rains, Can't take off road.I have already driven 1700 kms and enjoying every bit of it.Rode it in city traffic of nagpur and visited 5-6 spots in highway outskirts of nagpur.
