Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Interceptor 650
Q. Is middle class people can afford this Interceptor does it suits for every one who earn monthly 25k. .Tanay | 5 months ago
Honestly you may afford it, but it is not the best thing to invest in. Mileage would be a max of 30kmpl meaning depending on how much you ride, more frequent visits to the refueling station. also royal enfield service costs are comparatively higher than other motorcycles in my experience and they require specialists to do its service. If this is your sole family income I would suggest you not to go for it. But if you are a motorcycle enthusiast then go for it.2 ReplySREEHARI | 5 months ago
Think twice before you do it as it is not an ordinary re350 more over it depends on your living as far as I'm concerned I'm only having a milage around 20 in city it is too low for an average person to afford but its power is awesome good compared to other re if you are interested in it then go for it 😍😌0 ReplyHarsha | 5 months ago
Q. My height is 5.4 feet, I am confused between Interceptor and Dominar 400, my daily commute is around 15 to 20 kilometers per day and in weekend will go for 50 to 60 kilometers. What is it's performance and maintainance in city traffic?Zigwheels | 9 months ago
Here, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 would be a better pick. At its heart is an all-new 648cc parallel twin, counterbalanced engine with air- and oil-cooling. Producing 47.6PS @ 7100rpm, and 52Nm @ 5200rpm, power is transferred to the rear wheel via a new 6-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch. Though the engine is reasonably modern, the motorcycle has run-of-the-mill underpinnings: telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. A large 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS are offered as standard. And talking about weight, the Interceptor should be about 213kg roughly, which means it is some 20kg heavier than a Classic 350. But the light steering means that in city traffic you only a feel a bit of the heft. That said, its weight will feel a lot more apparent if you’re going to be moving the bike around in a parking lot. But is that a dealbreaker? No way! And to be fair, persons with short height will appreciate that at 804mm, while the seat height isn’t ultra low, it’s quite easy to manage the bike.4 ReplyUppiliappan | 9 months ago
Please don't compare both are entirely different .If you interested in racing or speed/Thrill ride /sporty , peppy , speedy ride go for 400 . Stable , Solid , Commanding ride position means go for interceptor 650 . solid plaint ride with very good amount of power with road presence go interceptor 650 . Both seat height is between 800 mm & 804 mm it will suit for you.4 ReplyPranav | 9 months ago
Q. What is the 1st service cost for Royal Enfield Interceptor 650?
Q. I am planning to buy a bike on which a lady can sit one sided. My budget is 3 lacs. Currently I am riding Dominar. Please suggest. - Interceptor 650?Uppiliappan | 2 months ago
No not at all advisable. The foot pegs/Rest are elevated .The engine power , Braking will imbalance the pillion rider and affect the rider. Every time we should caution the pillion rider about the dual exhausts before he sits.We should be very careful with the silencer/Exhausts because in seconds it will burn our foot , Knuckle & calf . Moreover INT 650 is not comfortable for pillion rider. If so then pillion rider should wear full boots .4 Reply
