Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Bike Latest Updates
The SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) sales data for the month of January 2024 are out and here's how many Hunter 350s were sold. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is the motorcycle maker’s most affordable bike.
Royal Enfield has lauched Reown, a pre-owned motorcycle initiative owned by the brand. Check out the details here.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Price The Hunter 350 is offered in two variants: standard Retro and mid/top-spec Metro. The Retro variants are offered in two colourways (Factory Silver & Factory Black) and priced at Rs 1,49,900. The Metro variants come in six colours, with Dapper Grey, Dapper Ash and Dapper White variants priced at Rs 1,69,656 and Rebel Red, Rebel Black and Rebel Blue colours priced at Rs 1,74,655 (prices ex-showroom Delhi).
Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Design The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has a classic roadster design characterized by its circular headlight, rear-view mirrors, taillight, and turn indicators. Enhancing its retro aesthetic are the teardrop-shaped fuel tank and the inclusion of rotary switches. Depending on your choice of variant, the bike is available with either spoke or alloy wheels.
Features of Royal Enfield Hunter 350 The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 (high-end variants) gets a digital-analogue instrument console which is the same as the one on Scram 411. The bike comes with an optional Tripper Navigation pod (for turn-by-turn navigation) and a USB charging port for juicing up your devices on the go. The instrumen console includes an analogue speedometer with an LCD inset for the clock, gear position, trip meter, fuel gauge and “Eco” mode prompt. However, it does miss out on real-time mileage gauge, a distance-to-empty meter and even lacks LED lighting. Also, the spoke wheel variant comes with a relatively simpler semi-digital setup with speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge and tell-tale lights.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Engine Powering the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a single-cylinder, 349cc, BS6.2-compliant, air-cooled engine (same as in Meteor 350 and Classic 350). It produces 20.2PS and 27Nm, the same as the Classic 350, but with a slightly sportier state of tune and gets paired to a five-speed transmission. The Hunter has a twin downtube spine frame and gets a 41mm front telescopic fork and six-step preload-adjustable dual rear shock absorber suspension setup. Braking duties are handled by a 300mm front disc and 270mm disc/153mm drum at the rear. The Hunter 350 comes with dual-channel ABS and also single-channel ABS in the drum brake variants. Fuel tank capacity is 13 litres and has a seat height of 790mm with 150.5mm ground clearance and weighs 181kg (kerb).
Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Rivals
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350’s rivals are the Jawa 42, Honda CB350RS, TVS Ronin, Keeway SR 250, QJ Motor SRC 250 and the Triumph Speed 400.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Variants
The Hunter is available in two distinct variants, each with noticeable distinctions. The standard Retro variant offers a choice of two colours and is equipped with spoked wheels paired with tubed tyres, rear drum brakes with single-channel ABS, a semi-digital display, boxy turn indicators, a halogen tail lamp and traditional pillion grab-rails. In contrast, the more premium Metro variant offers a palette of six colours and boasts cast-alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, circular turn indicators, a more informative analogue-digital instrument cluster, an LED tail lamp and contemporary split grab-rails.

-
Hunter 350 Advantages
Ideal for individuals seeking a Royal Enfield motorcycle that is lightweight and nimble, offering easy accessibility.
-
Hunter 350 Disadvantages
The relaxed nature of the engine doesn't complement with the motorcycle's contemporary chassis very well and the absence of features deprives the bike of any sense of modernity.
-
Expert's Conclusion
The Hunter 350 injects a sense of youthfulness into the Royal Enfield family while remaining within an affordable price range. Despite the absence of certain features and a slight performance deficit, it offers a compelling entry point to the world of Royal Enfield, making the transition less daunting and more exhilarating.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Expert Review
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is the brand’s most affordable bike in India. After the Classic 350 and the Meteor 350, it was the third bike to join Royal Enfield’s J-series platform.
Design
The Hunter 350 has a retro roadster design language with the round headlight, mirrors , turn indicators and even the console. The rotary switches and teardrop-shaped fuel tank further accentuate the retro looks.
Engine, Mileage And Performance
The Hunter is powered by the 349cc engine that we’ve seen on the Classic 350 and the Meteor 350, making 20.2PS and 27Nm. It’s torquey and doesn’t mind being ridden at lower speeds in higher gears as well. The top end though is a bit lacking. In our tests, the bike returned a mileage of 40.19kmpl in the city and 35.98kmpl out on the highway.
Handling And Ride Quality
The Hunter is a fun handler, a lot better than all the other Royal Enfield bikes and a lot of it is down to its 17-inch wheels. Of course it doesn’t have the agility of a sporty streetfighter but for a retro roadster that has a 181kg kerb weight, it’s quite good.
The Hunter 350’s suspension is set on the firmer side. While it’s fine on slightly bad roads, it does send jolts to your back on really bad roads. If you’re a lighter rider, it could become quite uncomfortable as well.
Comfort
The riding posture on the Hunter 350 is a bit sporty, similar to a modern-day street bike. The handlebar is flat and wide but the footpegs are a bit rearset so you sit a bit canted forward. While that’s fun when you’re attacking the twisties or in the city, for longer rides it will feel a bit cramped for your lower body.
Features
The Hunter 350’s semi-digital console is the one we’ve seen on the Scram 411. It has an analogue speedometer along with an LCD inset for the gear position indicator, clock, fuel gauge, tripmeter and a lot more.
Should You Buy The Royal Enfield Hunter 350?
The Royal Enfield Hunter is a friendly beginner motorcycle. While in some areas like the engine, performance, fuel efficiency, and features, it may not feel modern, but considering its Rs 1,49,900 price tag (ex-showroom Delhi), it undercuts its rivals. This affordability compensates for its shortcomings, making the Hunter 350 an attractive choice and a promising addition to the Royal Enfield family.

The best bike under 1.3 lakhs
The best bike under 1.3 lakhs segment. My experience while driving it was amazing, It's handling controls the exhaust sound was the best.Milage is around 30kms per litre. The design of the bike is too good, Like if you see it from rear view it looks very good, Having the broad tyres abd as it comes with metal parts the built quality is top notch. The suspension is little stiff, But there is reason behind it as year by year the suspension get loose free automatically. It comes with halogen light, Which seems to be great while driving it in night time, The full visibility on road.If someone is looking to buy this re hunter 350 bike, Then my suggestion is to buy it blindly.
