Q. I am 6.3 feet height. Is Thunderbird 350 suitable for me?
-
Yes . It is good for you as per your height. But the problem is, more height more shoulder pain you get when you go on a trip of more than 100 km ride. It’s good for local commute only, not for long trip. : By Moorthy | 1 week ago
-
Even I'm 6'3 feet height. It isn't suitable. It can only be suitable if you change the seat or add cushion to its original seat..... : By Sanjeev | 3 weeks ago

Q. I am planning to buy Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350. What are the major differences between 350 and 500?
-
There is no cosmetic difference between 500 and 350 the difference you feel is all about the milage and power but if you wait for a while Thunderbird is going to come in bs6 version and with abs so you will have more value for money. please wait for a month in October it's going to come. : By Yashwant | 2 months ago
-
My opinion is don’t buy RE bikes . Nowadays RE is making only profit out the ppl money and there isn’t any improvement on the vibrations and better pick up. It’s gonna cost more and more on servicing and spares . Look for something Jawa or similar one . But No RE . My experience. They jus wanna manufacture in mass quantities and not a better bikes . : By Moorthy | 1 month ago
-
Major differences are the engine pickup the weight of the bike and mostly the milage is same The servicing cost is also more or less the same : By Krish | 2 months ago
Q. I want to ask which is the best bike for daily 60km ride daily? Confused between a Thunderbird and Avenger 220. The issue is I found a lot of vibrations in Tthunderbird any other suggestion is welcome.
-
Yes . I have mentioned in my earlier answer, it has a heavy vibration while on ride above 80 kmph and also when go for long drive of more than 100 + km distance , ur shoulders would start getting pain . Also more kms ride , the more pain u receive. So choose ur choice . Still I’m riding my TB 350 for past 3 yrs . But no long drive . I have had enough. : By Moorthy | 2 months ago
-
You are welcome 😊..... both looks different but engine and all are same..... I like street.... : By Rootvij | 2 months ago

Wait for ktm 390 adventure. you would luv the spec. It will cover all your purpose. : By Chandresh | 3 weeks ago
Q. Which bike is better for 5'2 feet teenager in royal Enfield - Thunderbird 350?
-
Both RE 350 classic and Thunderbird are great for you.The classic is better as the seat height is a bit lower than the TB.Test ride both bikes yourself and you can see it yourself please. : By Oommen | 3 months ago
-
No royal Enfield will be safe for you, unless your legs are really strong.. The bike is pretty heavy, so if your legs don't reach the ground properly, it won't be safe ... : By Meet | 2 months ago

Avenger bs4 has lots of prob mainly battery issue.. Also u cant compare 290cc with avenger.. Best buy jaww : By Jaichandra | 3 months ago
Q. I am 5ft 2inch is it good for me to buy thunderbird 350?
-
Well points to consider. This bike is very heavy even if you are physically strong your height would be a problem, with stop start riding in traffic I think it would a struggle for you. The best advice I can give you is to go to dealers and sit on one when off stand and see if you think you can handle it.but remember The people at any Enfield showroom want to sell bikes and they MAY not give you honest advice. : By Bob | 3 months ago
-
No. dude it doesn't suit you.. ofcourse anyone can drive anybike if they really want but problem how much comfortable they will be with it ? that's the question mark .my friend is 5'6 he doesn't feel comfortable in it especially it weighs 192 kg and power delivery is not that good so probably in traffic you will be why did you choose this bike.. so if you like cruiser kind of bike avenger is the perfect cruiser than re bikes .and its so light so it will be so opt for you..or you can even try um bikes. : By Ajith | 9 months ago

Riding position of Thunderbird 350 is very good and you enjoyed riding day by day. Thunderbird is superb in terms of balance and comfortable riding, I have Thunderbird 350 and interceptor 650 both but if anyone asked for better riding experience than my answer is Thunderbird only.I covered 550km in single day without tried and much excited while riding.Hight is not a issue as you mentioned but weight of this beast is may be 198kg.Overall prediction for Thunderbird 350 is a very good package. : By Krishan | 4 months ago

Q. Is Thunderbird suitable for daily travel of 40 kms?
-
Yes it is If u have an issue with heavy motorcycles,it might be a problem (still u won't feel the weight once the bike gets moving). If not,the upright riding position with ample torque makes the motorcycle an ample tourer without taking a toll on you. : By Athul | 1 year ago
-
From my personal experience.. 40km drive will be easy for TB as it is very comfortable bike to ride.. If u r not worried about fuel consumption. : By Kazi | 1 year ago

I commute for about 90kms every day for the last 5years in bangalore traffic conditions and i think it is the most comfortable bike to be on. : By Baskar | 1 year ago
Q. Mujhe RE TB350 kharid ni he kya me le sakta hu ise plz muje bataye daily use k liye - Thunderbird 350?
-
I have RE TB350 for since 2011. It's a good bike for city and highway but has les resale value as compared to standard 350 and classic 350 because standard 350 can be driven at low speed i.e. 25kmphr in fifth gear which minimizes gear change in city ride but vibrates a lot above 60kmphr where as classic 350 and TB 350 are meant for cruising at higher speed as compared to standard 350. : By Nikhil | 12 months ago
-
I have Thunderbird 350 since April 2015. Since then I am using only this machine. I was comfortable with this in city use easily. but these days I feel I should buy an Activa also. The weight of the bike and specially when u park it on double stand can harm ur back in long go. : By Sahil | 11 months ago
-
Yes please. Aap isse daily useke liye le sakte Hain. kyunki yah bahut comfortable aur 40 see 45 ka mileage deta Hain. : By Oommen | 1 year ago
Q. What is the actual mileage and how is the Overall performance & comfort - Thunderbird 350?
-
To be precise the mileage is somewhat between 40-45 kmpl , talking
about comfort You can go for long rides and cruise around in the highway. No problem with the Performance
wise. Its pretty good if you are looking for a cruiser. But yes, there is vibration at high rpm U know royal
enfield has that thing in their bikes... : By Subhankar | 1 year ago
-
I have completed 2200 kms in my Tiago diesel. Mileage is 25 kms plus. Eide quality and engine performance is very good and the mileage makes me very happy. Silent Diesel engine is a plus point. I have changed engine oil twice in 2000 kms. : By Oommen | 1 year ago
-
Guaranteed mileage on any surface road would be 30 even in the city but when you are riding on a flat and plain highway , it may depend on Upto 35 maximum, not more than , it’s from my experience since 2 yrs. enjoy riding. : By Moorthy | 1 year ago
Q. Does RE 350 TB has the feature called fuel to go empty and time - Thunderbird 350?
-
Yes, TBTS 350 shows Time but not "Distance to Empty" But I don't feel it's important. It can easily cover more than 80 km once in Reserve mode. 350 model has ON-OFF-RESERVE knob.(TBTS 500 has no such option.) : By Sahil | 11 months ago
-
Reserve is 4.5 ltrs. Its up to you, in which conditions you are driving. Almost all Indians are literate and can calculate the distance. : By Vijay | 11 months ago
-
Ya it shows u time the average km reading trips and ya reserve tank notification too : By Sourav | 4 months ago
Q. Which one is better between Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Thunderbird 350?
-
The RE Classic is a retro-street bike whereas the Thunderbird is a cruiser machine. The Classic 350 is apt for budget-conscious riders who want a distinct old-school pizzaz in their motorcycle. However, if you crave for more torque and are not worried about the relatively higher fuel bills than the 350, go for the Classic 500 instead. It also offers the advantage of fuel injection, which helps in providing crisper throttle response and easier cold-starts. On the other hand, the Thunderbird family is arguably one of the most feature-laden motorcycles from the British brand. Both the 350cc and 500cc variants feature dual trip meters with average speed readout, digital fuel gauge, a generous 20-litre fuel tank, projector headlamp with LED DRL, and relaxed ergonomics. Though the Thunderbird 350 feels short on power on the highways, it is still a good choice for enthusiasts who love to go on long rides. Click on the link to compare these two siblings: https://bit.ly/2jK42ji Ultimately, it boils down to your requirements. Do take a test ride in order to judge your riding comfort. : By Zigwheels | 1 year ago

If you think for touring purpose definitely Thunderbird 350 or you are daily commuter and covered more than 100km.Classic have their strong existence in market due to old school look. Truly appreciate the Royal Enfield to build classic but if you ride more than 100km on highway, you must have strong spinal system, as after riding you feel back pain due to double spring system on seat as well as bike. when you ride more than at the speed of 80km/hrs, seat continue vibrates and may impact your nervous system. Thunderbird 350 less appearance in the market but truly riding experience much higher than the other Royal Enfield bike. You can enjoy your weekend riding as well as daily commute with this beast, less vibration than classic 350, seating posture also very good that means you never tiered, if you ride more than 100km.Comparison to engine: both having same engine bit change in rpm settings for pickup. : By Krishan | 5 months ago
-
RE Classic 350. In every terms,it feels much better. It feels royal and feels like yes you arent riding some day to day commuters. Thunderbird 350 is just a styled 350 and don't even have a after sale handsome evaluation. RE Classic though quite retro gets everything you want. And ofcourse, Modification can make it better than RE Thunderbird 350. : By Aditya | 2 weeks ago

Q. Which is good to buy between Thunderbird 350X and Thunderbird 350
-
350 & 350x both are better in their way...if you take 350 its not alloy, not ABS which is in offering from RE for 350x350 has more comfortable seat arrangement, not in 350x, & having some issue with fuel supplies, saw leakage in one of my friends' bikesoo i would rather suggest go for RE Thunderbird 350 with ABS obviously : By Prasenjit | 7 months ago
-
Now both 350 and 350x comes with dual channel abs. So, with the same engine and same capacity i would recommend to go for 350x because of alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. If you get the alloy wheels and tubeless tyres outside, the ABS warranty would be void. Why take a risk instead go for 350X. : By Swetabh | 8 months ago
-
Prefer the TB 350 to the TB 350X. The new version has a handle bar, and foot rests repositioned which makes it look stylish but comfort of riding is definitely on TB 350.The engine specs are ditto, except for tubeless tyres. : By Cyrus | 6 months ago

Q. Which is better when you compare cruise 220 vs thunder bird 350?
-
Well, the avenger churns out 19.5 hp so does the REthunerbird, but the RE has more torque than avenger. average of avenger is 40 and thunderbird below 30. braking of new RE is dual disc while in avenger the back is drum,so RE has an advantage there. the RE has a lot of vibrations and the avenger has negligible, price difference is about 60,000 between the two, and bajaj servicing is very cheap and the spare parts are also very cheap, so the BAJAJ AVENGER is a much more practical in my opinion,,. by the way i have ridden both these bikes a lot, and avenger best in terms of handling too. : By Akshay | 1 year ago
-
If u r into riding long distance then the tb 350 but it has no abs on the other hand avenger has got abs single channel both the bikes got same power but tb350 has tubetire,350x has tubeless and avenger tube tire.If your budget is somewhat near 2L then should wait for the tb350 abs or should go for classic signals 350 or 500 abs.TB 350 is a nise looking bulky bike as i own one, but on hard braking the tire gets locked, what i would suggest wait a little more for tb to get abs. : By Pritam | 10 months ago
-
Avenger cruiser is good for shorter height person other side Thunderbird 350 is right for the person who has height 5 feet and above. Also thunder bird is more powerful than avenger and comfortable too.So don't be confused between these two bikes both has the difference like heaven and earth has. And also technically on higher altitude you will need powerful engine ex. for ladakh ride , hilly road and also Thunderbird is very good on off -road also . : By Avinash | 10 months ago

Q. Which bike is the best for long rides?
-
As per my opinion , RE bikes are good in order of their quality and riding comfort. I recent drove my RE TB 350 for 300 KM long drive to Trichy and back to Bangalore . After riding around 150 KMs , my left shoulder started hurting me and due to this , I couldn’t turn my head to right , if turn so , my shoulder hurts more than normal .So I have decided from then . Not to go long ride which is more than 150KMs. It remain hurts for few days after the ride finished . It’s my opinion . It may be due to my height . I am 6 ft tall . : By Moorthy | 2 months ago

There are ample of options available i.e. Royal Enfield Classic 350, Suzuki Intruder, UM Motorcycles Renegade Commando, Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220, Royal Enfield Himalayan etc. Click on the given link to explore all available options: Choosing one will depend on several factors like budget, brand preference, specific feature requirements etc. Please drop down your requirements so that we can assist you further. : By Zigwheels | 1 year ago
-
For long drives, get a stable bike. a RE 350 or 500 would be best or the RE Himalayan. if budget allows, try one of the new adventure Triumph bikes , these offer higher performance and stability on long journeys. my own RE Thunderbird performs well too but my back does start hurting after a while when driving on longer routes. Good luck : By Nipun | 5 months ago
