Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Himalayan

Q. Which variant of Himalayan is best to buy?
  • The Royal Enfield Himalayan comes in just one variant but it is offered in six colors: Gravel Grey, Rock Red, Mirage Silver, Lake Blue, Pine Green, Granite Black. Royal Enfield Himalayan is priced from Rs. 2.01 - 2.08 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price, Delhi). The 2021 Himalayan still features the same BS6-compliant 411cc single-cylinder engine which produces 24.31PS and 32Nm. The 2021 Himalayan remains a capable off-roader, suspended by long-travel suspension units at both ends. It is the only affordable adventure tourer in India to get a 21-/17-inch spoke wheel setup that comes shod with dual-purpose CEAT tires. Himalayan features The instrument cluster looks virtually the same as before, but there’s a new pod for the Tripper Navigation system. The system enables enthusiasts to explore uncharted territories with ease as the system offers accurate turn-by-turn navigation.
Q. Me & my wife both are of 5.6& 5.5 height, we travel in city traffic for daily office commute of 2hrs on side and travel oustations (all types of roads) like 3 / 4 times a year. Which is the comfortable bike (interceptor 660 or Himalayan 400) for both rider & pillion ???
  • As per your requirements, we'd suggest you to opt for the Royal Enfield Himalayan for its brilliant city slicking abilities. The Himalayan BS6 is a well-rounded package that is now just that little bit better than before. It’s a nice motorcycle to tour the country on, and even if you don’t actually do so, it makes you look like the sort of person who does so with regularity. The Himalayan certainly isn’t flawless or entirely satisfactory in any singular aspect, but it makes up for these gaps by painting a picture of opportunity, inciting you to travel and explore on a whim. For that alone, it is and will continue to be relevant, even when the competition arrives in wholesomeness. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Q. Is this the best time to buy 2021 Himalayan or wait for a major upgrade in Himalayan ?
  • Yes, you may go for the current version. The Himalayan recently received a host of updates. The 2021 Himalayan doesn’t look too different from the previous model. It retains its rugged design elements and looks like an ADV from every angle. The only key change in this aspect is that the Himalayan is now available in three new paint options: Pine Green, Mirage Silver and Granite Black, besides the existing Rock Red, Lake Blue, and Gravel Grey. The Mirage Silver colour option gets a tan brown seat. That said, the addition of LED lighting and a few other noticeable changes would have improved the package.Read More - 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan: What’s New And What’s Not.

Q. I'm city rider, I am confused to buy Himalayan or Interceptor 650? Which is the best bike for city traffic in week days and touring in weekends?
  • Both Royal Enfield Himalayan and Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 are brilliant offerings with comfortable seating and powerful engine options, however, selecting one would depend on your preference of the segment, budget, features required, performance figures and usage of the bike. The Interceptor 650 comes equipped with a much refined engine that offers linear and friendly power delivery yet exciting to ride. Quality and fit and finish levels are quite good and the motorcycle feels built to last. This is easily the best Royal Enfield out there. Also, it is the most affordable bike in India with multi-cylinders. On the other hand, the Himalayan offers brilliant off-roading credentials, comfortable ergonomics for highway touring and city rides as well. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details. Q. How many days Royal Enfield Himalayan BS6 tooks to be delivered after booking?
  • People are talking about 30- 50- 60 days delivery i am like... what???? Its been 4 months i booked a himalayan and these royal enfield guys are so blunt in their reply. When i call them to enquire they say that i can cancel the booking... these people sitting in the showroom, they should be taught how to have a decent conversation with the customers. They lack even the basic etiquettes while responding to a query. I will surly upload a video about these guys and how they talk with a hidden camera...
  • I booked it on 22nd Sep 20- Its more than 2 months and i have no clue about the delivery date. I dropped an e mail to the customer care but all i got was an apology and the entire blame was put on Covid -19. I understand it is not the BAU scenario but when i visited the showroom i found few new bikes delivered there. The newly launched Royal Enfield Meteor 350 was available. WTF?? Have to wait - By the way guys - Watch our travel blog on youtube - Jolly Shankar
